Project Overview
Synopsis
After her older sister refuses to go to an arranged marriage meeting with Takane Saibara, the heir to a vast business fortune, high schooler Hana Nonomura agrees to be her stand-in to save face for the family. The meeting between Takane and Hana ends in an explosive manner, and Hana is convinced that she’ll never have to see that awful Takane again. But Takane actually seems interested in Hana! Exasperated by Takane’s immature attitude, yet amused and intrigued despite herself, Hana wonders if her hilarious rivalry with Takane just might lead to love!
Rules/Info:
1. Please give it your all when auditioning! Your voice will be 50% of the characters personality, so put yourself in their shoes. If you think a laugh, sigh, grunt, etc. would sound good at the end of a line, then feel free to throw one in! Improvisation is also welcomed, so long as you keep pace with the lines we have given you,
2.You will need an email/discord account (You do not need both, only one). This is how we will keep in contact, exchange scripts, and send audio tracks.
3. If possible, please try to have minimal background sound.
4. You must be willing to read the manga. If not once, multiple times, that way you can get a good feel of the character's personality.
5. It would be ideal to have a microphone that can at least reach over 41000 Hz. Meaning that the quality of the mic cannot be a standard laptop microphone. This is because we want the audio quality to be good. You can still audition if your microphone quality is mediocre. If you are cast and your microphone quality is not over 41000 Hz, we will be willing to buy you a new microphone for the project.
6. If you are to be cast you must be on top of your work. If you miss a deadline, you get a strike. Of course, if you talk to us ahead of time and ask for an extension, that is completely fine and different.
7. We may extend the deadline if we have more projects to be situated before we cast for Takane & Hana.

Hana Nonomura is a normal sixteen-year old high school girl from an average income family. Hana's sister boycotted an unavoidable marriage meeting with Takane Saibara, so Hana was forced attend the meeting in her place. Hana likes practical things. She is friends with Mizuki and Hikaruko.
*Note: This role has light cussing

Takane Saibara is a scion and the grandson of the Takaba company's president. He has an arrogant personality and dislikes the commoner's lifestyle. Despite his personality, he is surprisingly an intelligent and capable office worker.
He loves home-cooked or top-quality dishes and dislikes pre-packaged food. Takane enjoys being on high places, such as tall buildings. Takane loves to be flattered, especially by Hana, although she enjoys deflating Takane's overly inflated ego.

Hikaruko Fujiwara is one of Hana's best friends. Her personality is monotone, smart, and confident. She is typically seen wearing her hair in braids and glasses. Hikaruko is usually calm, cool, and collected.

Age: 23
Yukari Nonomura is Hana's sister. Because of her beauty, the president of Takaba noticed her and invited her to a marriage meeting with his grandson, Takane Saibara. Yukari boycotted the marriage meeting since she refused to see any other man besides her boyfriend.
Yukari eventually breaks up with her boyfriend and ends up showering her attention onto Takane. Yukari works as a receptionist at a department store.

President Saibara is Takane's grandfather. President Saibara only wants the best for Takane, even going as far as making an arranged marriage for him. President Saibara only does this because he believes this will help Takane excel in his work. President Saibara is kind, smart, and sneaky.

Otou-san is Hana's dad. Hana's dad's name is not actually Otou-san but it appears that's the only name he is called throughout the manga. He has very high respect for President Saibara, due to President Saibara being his employer.

Honbucho, when translated to english means manager. Honbucho is a corporate manager at President Saibara's company and is somewhat familiar with Takane Saibara.
