An alien orphan from a dying planet, Kal-El, was raised on a barn living as a human with his adoptive name Clark Kent, while he begins to grow aware of his powers emerging. He wants to find answers what he was and where he really was. With his powers, and his secrets, he begins to become something that he was destined to be.

  • The name's Kent. Clark Kent from Smallville. The main reason I want to work here is because you have the fastest, most reliable news service in the world, Mr. White. Whenever a story happens, The planet gets it first and hast it webbed and in print while the New York Times is still fishing for sources. Your staff is that good. And I'm that good. I wish I could convey how critical this is to me, Mr White. I need to be where the speed of information is priority one. My work depends on spotting trouble as it breaks.

  • Well, I certainly hope this little incident hasn't put you off flying, ma'am. Statistically speaking, it's still the safest way to travel. (prepares to fly away)

  • Two dead. Many are injured. Is this how you do this to them? I've never met anyone like you. You can drop the "Innocent Businessman" Act. You may have fooled this city, but you're not fooling me. For this, you're responsible. Innocent people are almost killed because the remote units in those choppers were sabotaged with ultrasonic signals. I traced them to your towers and to this office.

  • Excuse me, may I quote you? Lois Lane, Daily Planet! What's your connection either to this attack on Metropolis or this man, who saved it in full view of thousands of bystanders?

  • Clark saved me from the blast that Van-Gar guy fired at. The only thing I have was his remains. (begins to cry) I only have these. I--

  • Ms. Lane, you may assure your readers that everyone at Lexcorp knows this disaster for the senseless tragedy it is. My heart goes out to its victims and my hand, to their protector. This stranger's amazing actions no doubt prevented the deaths of countless lives. Meaning that whoever he may be, he is a friend to Lex Luthor.

  • I told you. That's Kryptonite, Superman. Little souvenir from the old home town. I spared no expense to make you feel right at home. You were great in your day, my friend. But it just stands to reason, when it came time to cash in your chips, this old "diseased maniac" would be your banker. Mind over muscle?

  •  I understand now. You can't just be anywhere else, Superman. As long as you stay in Metropolis, people will die. And you have to take that responsibility. If I were you, I have to think about it.

  • You only wanted to help people, but they're starting to fear you. Meaning to say, you're different. You're far from those of mortal men. It's not like martians or anything. It's an impossible to choose if you can secretly save or not. But the truth is...you're not one of us. Come here, there's something I can show you.

  • We found you in this. We were sure the government was gonna show up on our doorstep. No one ever came. It's another way of saying it's not from this world, Clark, and neither are you… You're the answer, son. You're the answer to "Are we alone in the universe?" People are afraid of what they don't understand. You're not just anyone, Clark, and I have to believe that you're–that you're sent here for a reason. All these changes you're going through, one day–one day, you're goin'a think of them as a blessing, and when that day comes, you're goin'a have to make a choice: a choice of whether to stand proud in front of the human race or not. You'll just have to decide what kind of man you'll want to grow up to be, Clark, because whoever that man is, good character or bad, he's–he's gonna change the world.

  • What I saw in that thing, its means hope and compassion. It's like bringing light out of darkness, and bringing it to the people. Meaning to say, the only thing for you to do is be their hero, Clark. Be their angel, be their monument, be anything they need you to be... or be none of it. You don't owe this world a thing. You never did.

3. "Reach Out" by Westlife

  • Can you read my mind?

Do you know what it is to do to me?

    Don't know who you are

Just a friend from another star.

Here I am, like a kid at the school

Holding hands with a god or a fool

Will you look at me, quivering

    Like a little girl, shivering

You can see right through me

    Can you read my mind?

Can you picture the things I'm thinking of?

    Wondering why you are

All the wonderful things you are

You can fly, you belong to the sky

You and I could belong to each other.

    If you need a friend,

I'm the one to fly too

If you need, to be loved

    Here I am,

    Read my mind!
