Super Mario Bros: "A New Beginning" CASTING CALL! (Pilot Episode)
Project Overview
HELLO EVERYONE!
My name is Edward aka the Youtuber MarioKartGamerDude and I am back with a new Casting Call for voices in the pilot episode of my Mario focused audio series
“Super Mario Bros: A NEW BEGINNING!”
This series is set 3 years after the events of one of my recent series, “Mario and Sonic: Vacation Shorts” where at the finale (Spoilers) Bowser comes in to give Mario a peace treaty, denouncing his villainous role and to have peace between him and his former enemy Mario, in agreement to not kidnap Peach or try to take over!
WHAT? MARIO AND BOWSER? NOW FRIENDS?!” Crazy, am I right?

After those 3 years, the Mario cast are all a bit older, and things have become more serious such as Mario and Peach’s relationship, the plumbing business is thriving, Bowser and his kids continuing to try to fit in, everyone is moving onto better and brighter things!
Of course, things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows as a former enemy of Mario and Luigi returns from the grave, you’ll know…BY HER LAUGH!
THE PLANS FOR THE SERIES
This series is planned to have 20 episodes, the first 8 have already been written, each building up to the other, no filler, leading up to a climatic ending!
As this is just the casting call for the pilot episode, only the characters who appear in that episode will be up for auditions!
Once the episode takes off, more casting calls will appear down the line, so do not be discouraged if you don’t get your chance here!

Mario (Age 29)
“The hero of the mushroom kingdom has been his enjoying his down time now that he and Bowser are on good terms, he stills saves the kingdom here and there but he makes sure to enjoy the free time he has with his friends and his beloved Princess Peach, he thinks may be time……for the next step!

(Teasing) “No no no Junior, say it in Italian, like we practiced!"
(Unamused) “I walked all the way to the store and you’re just NOW telling me we ran out of pasta?”
Luigi (Age 27)
“The green machine is no longer a timid scaredy cat! (This is a lie) He’s so happy that things have calmed down, less danger and more fun! But….Luigi….he’s feeling a sudden….emptiness lately…..everyone is moving on….and he’s not….I wonder what’s going on….?

(Sad) “I just wish Mario would….spend more time….with us…..ugh…I sound terrible for saying this!
(Shy) “Well….no i…..um…..what were we talking about?”
(Nervous) “Oh look water, hahaha, i sure love drinking it, come on Toad, let’s leave the famous celebrities alone hahaha, (whispers) i can’t believe it ... .they both smiled at me!”
Princess Peach (Age 28)
“The loving princess of the Mushroom Kingdom is still performing her duties as princess, just with less kidnapping! Now that she can continue without much worries, she spends her time with Bowser to assist him in gaining the people’s trust, as for her and Mario ... .we'll have to see where the door takes them!

(Happy) “Mario is supposed to drop by later, said, he wants to speak to me about a trip”
(Annoyed) “Wario, THIS is not what i requested, please, restrain yourself”
(Cheerful) “Come now Luigi, you know Mario would never forgive himself if he upset you”
Princess Daisy (Age 27)
“The spunky princess of Sarasaland has now reached the age of becoming Crown Princess by her parents, the next step for her to become queen one day, she’s excited but she’s also hoping it isn’t exhausting, she’s got plans of her own that don’t involve ruling a kingdom, princesses wanna have fun too!

(Irritated) “I’ve been pampered, dressed up and looked at too many screens with speeches planned for me, do i LOOK okay?!”
(Tired) “This is too exhausting, Mom, can’t we just take a break? Queens can take breaks!”
(Sad) “Dad….i’m not saying i don’t want to do this, but you’re throwing WAY too much at me, i don’t wanna feel overwhelmed”
Rosalina (Age 29)
“Rosalina’s role as guardian and mother to the Lumas is still a never ending task, she does begin to wonder however, who will watch the Lumas when she is gone? Perhaps if she had a successor to fill her role…..

(Explaining) “My Lumas are…getting to the point where I even think I must take a breather…..”
(Worried) “A vacation may be suitable, but i’m afraid, one second away is too dangerous without reassurance”
(Startled) “This… i don’t think is the right course of action”
Pauline (Age 29)
“Singer turned mayor is now running for re-election! Pauline’s a very beloved mayor due to her demeanor and her past history with Mario and Donkey Kong, she does have a few headaches going on now, but don’t worry, I think the odds will turn in her favor soon!

(Brink of Insanity) “I have too much on my plate already, reelection speech, i have to talk to my lawyers, bring up more fundraising ideas, my head is about to explode!”
(Surprised) “You cannot be serious, I went over each detail with you!”
(Happy) “Mario, i’d like you to meet my attorney on that case i’m dealing with”
Bowser Jr (Age 13)

“Peach’s loyal assistant has been upgraded to head guard of the Shroom Guardsmen, he MAY let the role get to his head a few times, but that just comes with the job of shouting orders many times, he’s still our lovable mushroom guy!
(Debating with someone) “Process of elimination, either make friends or be stuck with us forever”
(Bored) “I’ve only been in charge for 6 months, give me a break!”
(Asking) “And the reason you haven’t gotten down on one knee is because….?”

*In episode 1, many Toad residents are whispering stuff about Bowser Jr as he walks by them, so I’m mainly looking for anyone who wants to try out!*
Note: *You can even add in your own takes, making up lines you would say if you saw a former villain walking past you and you still think they’re evil, remembering what they’ve done!
