Hello! Thank you so much for applying for the roles of Renee and Honore! I can’t reply to everyone individually because of the sheer number of submissions. I never expected this many people to show interest in my project and it’s very humbling. The auditioning process is finished and I reached out to the talent chosen for the roles. If you haven’t heard from me, then your submission didn’t fit the project. However, in the future, there may be another role available for the project if you are interested in auditioning for it. HONORE is a young impressionist painter in 1870s France. He is a childhood friend of the main character. He is a kind and proactive person, but also clumsy and forgetful. He provides encouragement and support to the MC. I am looking for a warm and soft voice, but there are lines where he is panicking and one where he is out of breath.
Oh. Well…. It’s hard to enjoy things you are forced into.

Renee, it is beautiful. It reminds me of your work back at the studio. The way you paint light, as if catching it, always amazed me.
RENEE is a young woman working at the pigment shop in 1870s France. Her dream of being a painter was crushed when she was a child, and now she believes she is a failure who is only good at mixing paint, noting more. She lives a harsh life, so her voice shouldn't be too youthful. Her life lacks any passion. That is, until her childhood friend burst into her shop in need of a help. Renee's desire to reconnect with him, helps her find her inner artist again, but the old trauma that stopped her from painting in the first place is getting in her way.
What yellow did he use? Cadmium? Hm, if I mix it I will know for certain…
