Strixhaven Week 2
Project Overview
Wizards of the Coast has begun releasing online web fiction for Magic: the Gathering once again! It is our goal on the Voice of All podcast to bring these stories to life through audio.
This week we are casting for roles in the first two Strixhaven chapters: Class is in Session and Lessons. Strixhaven is their newest set focusing on the tropes of magical schools and we have many major roles to cast. You can read the stories here:

We are looking to keep up with the release of Wizards' stories as best as possible and will release our version the second following Friday, so expect to be cast this week and have your lines to me within a few days. This schedule may be slightly different for the time being as they are releasing two stories a week, but our schedule will remain one a week.
As a general casting note, I do not typically have any voice requirements in mind for characters. I would much rather hear your interpretations and choose from among them.
Payments listed are for this particular set of stories. If they appear in future chapters, the value there may differ based on number of lines, but all chapters will be paid. All chapters and characters will be paid at once near the end of the set's production.

Beledros Witherbloom is an ancient dragon and founder of Witherbloom college at Strixhaven. Witherbloom is dedicated to the study of the cycles of life and death. Magical biology, basically. She is very knowledgeable about all things in this realm. Despite her aloof demeanor, she is still caring and gentle.
Please do not add any effects to your audition. Beledros is a major character in Strixhaven. Should she reappear in future chapters, you will be asked to reprise the role.
"This smells of a dangerous sort of meddling to me. Some questions are better left unanswered."
"The deans are more than capable of keeping order and peace. As are the Dragonsguards and the Oracle." [a soft chuckle] "Even the Archaics do their part."
"The pain can be unbearable at times. But in the end, how we honor the dead is reflected in how we treat the living."
Extus is the primary antagonist of Strixhaven. We don't know much about him yet. He was formerly a student at Strixhaven, possibly a professor, but was cast out or expelled. He now seeks revenge. He's co-opted an anti-magic coalition called the Oriq and plans to use them and their army of mage hunting monstrosities to take down the school and summon a demon called the Blood Avatar.
Naturally as our villain, we expect Extus to reappear in future chapters. When he does so, you will be asked to reprise the role.
"I know many things. Things that I could teach you.... And in exchange, I believe there are things you could do for me." [tempting a new, potential ally]
"Why are you just standing there? Bring me more cervidar essence!" [angry]
"Let him come."
