Project Overview

Status: Ready is a fantasy web comic in the works. It is a story about rebellion and determination, revolving around humanity and magic. Cheiveri have lived on the Island of Meridia for decades before the Humans settled, yet, in the Great War, the Humans massacred cheiveri out of fear of what they could become. Mei-Scarlett Rose, the war general and veteran of the Great War is determined to win back her country and release humans and cheiveri from tyranny for the sake of Meridia, Cheiveri, and her ancestors. But there are traitors within the rebellion and around them, as well as secrets that are becoming more and more relevant with time. Can the cheiveri win the revolution? Or will cheiveri fall to extinction? Find out in Status: Ready! The name Status: Ready! refers to the status of the rebellion. Ready to fight. 


Searching for voice actors, composers, animators, artists, designers and basically anyone who wants to help out. If you have experience in something like editing that would be awesome too. Lots of script already written, and major parts are still available.

  • General Update

    Hey people..! I just wanted to post a quick update on the project and on auditions in general!! This project is STILL ON. We are currently writing to stay ahead for when we are able to more regularly post updates and our opening scene is in development. Until then, I still need to cast roles for many of the characters. I will remind you that I'm open to double casting and giving feedback if needed. Here are some updates: George's Accent Requirement has been dropped. New Characters have been added to this CCC, including: Cyril Matsouka (Male, Dark Magic Expert and Latin Teacher) Tigress (Female, Lead Navigator and Hacker) Sylvia Erastos (Female, Little sister of the Protagonist) And Extras is a role I can cast multiple people for so I can have a team of voice talents to pick up roles that may not appear again. You are allowed to be a normal VA and also pick up extras. I have been meaning to get in contact with a few voice actors to potentially close some roles, so don't worry if you haven't been casted yet. That's all I have for now..! Hillary is a bubbly young woman who is often known for her optimism. She is the leader of the Vitality Wing of the rebellion, and she is an expert healer and inventor. She can be a little naive, but she always looks out for the people she cares about and tries to support her friends in any way that she can.

Hillary stands at 5'2", with short, fluffy yellow-blond hair with brown tips. She has bright blue eyes, and is almost always seen smiling. Her choice of clothing is often very wild and fun, but that is perfect for her in her own weird way.

She needs a higher pitched voice. A bubbly young woman with no speech impediments or accents.

Brianna is a sweet and calm woman, the younger sister of Mei-Scarlett Rose, and the Keeper of Sky and Zephyr. She is a very passive woman, who enjoys reading and writing in her free time, when she isn't busy cleaning the messes of her other sisters. She isn't formally a part of the rebellion, despite her raw strength, but she is supportive of her older sister's effort to liberate the cheiveri.

Brianna stands at 5'7" and she has very long, white hair that is usually tied into a braid. She has blue eyes and is often depicted in a button up shirt, apron and a skirt that ends just below the knees. She is astoundingly patient, but she knows when it is her time to step in and settle things down.

She needs a gentle, calm, woman’s voice. Medium pitch preferred. British accent required.

George is a kind and patient lad still adjusting to his new life. Once living on the top of the world as a romantic, he lives under a false identity to keep his past a secret from the public eye. As such, George is the leader of the Espionage Wing in the rebellion. He is very gifted in analyzing motives of characters, and masterfully picks up information as the Police Chief in Calder (under the name George Richards). He is known to be a rather charming and polite guy, and often motivates himself with the ideal of a future that he could live in peace with his family.

George stands tall at 5'11". He has blonde hair and emerald green eyes, and is often seen smiling around the people he loves. As a force of older habits, George tends to wear suits and fancier attire when he is not in his police uniform.

George has a sweet, medium-low voice. Could be described as princely.

    “Prince? That means nothing to me.” (surprise on the first word, but then grow assertive. Maybe bitter)

Adrianna is a sly woman, known for her teasing nature. She lives under the alias Raven Ann DeBrume, and maintains a gothic aesthetic in her house and her clothing sense. She is the leader of the Purloin Wing in the rebellion, meaning that she is a master thief and is very quick on her feet, not only literally but in speech. She maintains a day job as a librarian.

Adrianna stands at 5'10", and has dark brown hair in an ombre so that a hazelnut color is at the ends of her hair. She has dark brown eyes and tanned skin. When not in the public eye, she is often seen in large black jacket and black boots, as well as either a skirt or jeans and some sort of top. Sometimes seen in a fedora.

Adrianna has a deeper voice, that usually has a sly charm. Must be very confident.

  • “Aww, you look so cute together~ I would take a picture, but I left my camera at home.” (teasingly)

    “You seem eager to get your ass kicked.” (with some annoyance)

    “Save it for Mei.” (almost threateningly)

  • “To be a sin keeper doesn’t always have to mean you’re evil. It just means that you act on your desires.” (sly, maybe on the smug side)

    (Laugh teasingly) “That’s one way to enter! Go you!”  

    “Stop acting so high and mighty, you know Mei wouldn’t stand for that.” (annoyed, scolding)

  • “Ha! I could do this mission drunk!” (Arrogantly)

    “Purloin.. That’s my wing. We are thieves. Lives, objects, hope.. Whatever it be, we steal with the most stealth and the most efficiency. If you aren’t cut out for this, you wouldn’t last a day in the field. Mei would take you down like a hawk. If you are, then hold on to your ass.” (low, alluring first part. second part is more sly)

    “Ha! Try getting stoned for being the only one in a strong religious neighborhood that wears all black and uses magic. They totally think I’m the devil or something! That’s not entirely wrong, but geez.” (with a laugh, totally amused)

Chiara is a very athletic individual under the alias Cassidy Russett. She is a professional multi-terrain athlete, and is very fast, strong and lithe because of it. She doesn't belong to any one wing of the rebellion, but she usually lends her services to Espionage or Purloin. She is supremely confident, and tends to hide her intentions and true feelings under a composed face. But she always loves a good competition.

Chiara stands at 5'9", with  brown hair in an ombre down to blonde tips. She has one green eye and one brown eye, and tanned skin. She typically dresses in athletic clothes, usually shorts or leggings with sneakers, a t-shirt and a letterman jacket.

She has a medium-high voice, and sounds confident. She can get a bit aggressive, but usually she likes to maintain a casual persona.

  • “What are you now?? Mei’s pet??” (disgusted)

    “Mm.. I’m so good at everything, they could use me anywhere and I’d be great! So why not go rogue?” (Smugly)

    “Augh, here comes the megabitch.” (Kind of under the breath, annoyed)

  • “...Why don’t you just stay with me, Hillary..? It’s dangerous to go alone.” (Lighthearted suggestion. Could slide in a concerned take if wanted)

    “Mission Complete. What’s next..?” (Could be smug or more quieted and serious)

  • “...Yes sir… I’m on it.” (Begrudgingly)

    “Light and color… Reality and illusion… Could I say it puts the entire world in my hands if I can confuse its sense of reality..?” (Smugly, can get a bit evil if wanted)

Antony is a General in the rebellion under the Militia Wing. He has his own family and relationship at home, and in the day he works as a personal trainer. He is a very calm dude, and he tends to be supportive regardless of his own trauma in war.

Antony is 5'8" with fluffy white hair and gray eyes. He's got tanned skin and a sharp face, and he is often in long militant clothes. Sometimes this means cargo pants, a button up shirt and a vest, sometimes it's joggers. 

He has a deeper voice, but I'm kind of open as long as it's assertive but not shouty.

  • “It’s quite strange.. He’s mediocre with his magical abilities, but his other measurables are all in the top. He hardly looks fit enough to pull off such a stunt.” (Pondering)

    “Everyone, get ready. We may have some trouble.” (Authoritative with urgency)

    “It is the hardest part about joining a rebellion… When you first join, you don’t realize how heavy of a task you are taking… And the many people who have died in your place. The truth is that you can’t save everyone.” (Sadly, reflective)

  • “Miss Brianna Rose! It has been a while since we’ve last met.” (With some happiness.)

    “So, she sent me this workout for you all. Three laps around the driven path, 20 pushups after each lap, and once all three are completed, you are to run down the hill and finish whatever workout you didn’t finish yesterday. Don’t cheat, because the Captain will know that you did and you will have to do it again.” (Just general instructions)

  • “My favorite weapon of choice? Hmm… Personally, I am very fond of the halberd. It has a unique shape and it is very versatile in function.” (Pondering, then, with some hint of happiness)

Sorren, or the God of Judgement, is a harsh man who has a strong moral principle that aligns with the law. During his life, he was an astounding Judge who had an extraordinary skill to tell whether someone was lying or not. However, he achieved godhood after summoning the God of Life and sacrificing something dear to him, and he died after a small time in Meridia. He resides in an omnipotent group known as the Star Council, and he offers moral guidance to those who request it.

He is a 6'6" man with short black hair and light blue eyes. He is usually seen in judge robes or a suit. He almost always has a hammer in his hand.

Sorren has a deep and commanding voice.  It's usually very harsh and assertive, but there are times when he can be more sentimental.

  • “I am Sorren Amanar. The embodiment of judgement.” (Confidently)

    “You cannot judge me.” (Flatly)

    “I am the will of the creator.”  (confidently)

  • “You have violated rule 567, section 5, paragraph 2, line 5. You will face judgement.”(robotic)

Brittany Angeni is a compassionate woman who became the Goddess of Spirit and Character. In her life, she was a doctor and a pharmacist as a crossdresser (under her late brother's name 'Brandon') in order to support her family in a time when women were not allowed to pursue careers like that. She exists after her death as a Goddess among the Star Council, offering emotional guidance to those who ask for it.

Brittany is 5'8" with long dark brown hair and purple eyes. She is often seen in a labcoat and vest.

Brittany has a medium voice. Could have a British accent but whatever you want to do is fine. She should come off as compassionate

  • “Perhaps, it would be best if we all settled down for now.” (calm and patient)

    “I have faith in my descendant to make the right choices as a sin keeper. If you wish to counter me, then fine, but it will only make us more unstable.” (bold, somewhat harsh on the latter half)

  • “I used to study medicine and psychology in Britain, mainly because my brother originally planned on having such an odd profession.” (Reflective)

    “The human mind.. The cheiveri mind.. Personalities of both species.. They are quite awe-inspiring, even if you don’t understand to what extent they are valuable. In fact, if they were not labelled, it would be nearly impossible to tell them apart.” (reflective, almost impressed)

    “I am the heart and mind.. The character and morals.. The spirit and soul of us all. I am the Goddess of Spirit and Character, Brittany Angeni.” (Compassionate)

Felliciano or Felix Belltov is a compassionate chef who used to work in a cafe with his little sister. He recently had been promoted to a royal chef. He is a very sweet and compassionate guy, and he's super genuine about how he operates. He's a bit of a people pleaser, and he's best friends with a billionaire, Layla Fusaro.

Felix stands at 5'9" with fluffy, medium length chocolate colored hair, and bright blue eyes. He is almost always dressed in bright colors and suits, and he usually wears a smile on his face.

Felix has a medium high voice, with a sweet charm to it.

  • “Cooking is an art. It is the mastery of mixing your culinary skills and your love.” (compassionate)

    “I’m Felliciano Belltov. I am stationed in the castle as the King’s chef. But I also work as a spy for the rebellion.” (Cheerful, sweet intro)

    “I lost her a long time ago… I feel this is the only way I can honor her memory.” (sadly)

  • “Juliet… You should know better than to go off by yourself like that…” (say this like you are talking to a younger sibling)

    “I made creme brulee and a chocolate mousse cake. Of course, if you are not interested, I can always make something else, your majesty.” (Sweet, passive)

She is a baker in a small cafe that she used to run with her brother, but she goes to school during the day in hopes of being an actress. She's a bit of a hopeless romantic, and hopes to be the protagonist of her own story.

Juliet stands at 4'11" and has medium length chocolate hair and bright blue eyes. She wears large oval red framed glasses, and frilly dresses with an apron.

Juliet has a medium-higher pitched voice, that is easily flustered, but usually very sweet.

    “My name is Juliet.. Juliet Belltov. I’m just a normal girl, with a somewhat abnormal life. I still go to school like most girls my age..! But usually, they don’t work part time at their brother’s restaurant.” (The last part is said sheepishly)

    “..S-So… are we picking codenames..? What would be mine then…? ……… What do you mean I’m the White Rabbit???” (embarrassed and insulted)

Leilani Fusaro, better known as Layla, is the leader of the Fusaro Corporation. She focuses on telecommunications and energy conservation, as well as utilities. She is a great entrepreneur and has a bubbly personality to go with it.

Layla stands at 5'4" and has long, reddish blonde hair, and dark brown eyes. An advocate with transformation magic, she has permanent dog ears. She often dresses in cutesy clothes and large frilly dresses. 

Layla has a higher pitched voice and should have a peppy tone.

  • “You.. You came back..!” (Happy, excited)

    “Yes, of course. I’ll give it a quick upgrade.” (sweet)

    “My brother specializes in computer programming, but if you want handheld devices, weapons, or a material object, you’ve come to the right place!” (almost advertising, bubbly)

  • “Oh, right! I’m Leilani (Lay-laney) Fusaro, the head of Fusaro Corp. But please call me Layla!” (peppy and sweet)

    “There aren’t very many like me.. I used to be normal, but thanks to that awful curse of her’s…” (bitterly, but also hopelessly)

  • “This technology should mimic your amulet’s ability to communicate. Tap with your right hand to hear it like it’s a speaker on your cell phone! Or tap with your left to hear the message in your head. It will take the form of anything you think is normal, earrings, hair pins… watches?” (advertising, sweet. Watches should be said like she is trying to sell it and convince someone to take it)

    “H-Hey! Watch it! My ears are sensitive..!” (warning)

Zachary Fusaro is Layla's older brother and an expert programmer and hacker. His software, CommonBear, is frequently used in Meridia. Zachary works as a school teacher during the day, after giving up his role as the CEO of Fusaro Corp to Layla, as he wanted to branch out. He is calm and a bit sarcastic, and tends to be a bit cold, but he's a softy at heart.

Zachary stands at 5'10" and often wears sweatshirts and comfortable clothes. He has messy reddish blonde hair and honey brown eyes, as well as tiny bear ears from transformation magic.

He has a medium toned voice, which is often flat and calm. but when his nerves are pressed, he shows he's a very passionate guy.

  • “The technology here is a joke. An eight year old with a passion could probably hack the intercom in mere minutes.” (Coldly, with an air of confidence)

    “Listen, I’ll keep it real with you. Just do the work in my class, and I won’t make you do the work in your home. Cool? Cool.” (Calmly)

    “We checked through all of the security footage and we couldn’t find anything. I haven’t slept for a good few days, and Thomas has been crying non stop since she disappeared. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Herschel Tech was pulling something shady.” (Exhausted, with worry fading to frustration at the end)

  • “What do you want?” (Bitterly) “Oh, she said that? Yes, I specialize in programming. In fact, I built the software “CommonBear”. There’s a good chance you use that on your screens at home.” (Confidently, although a bit dismissive)

    “How dare you say that?! She’s my sister, not just some CEO. I don’t want anything to happen to her, because I love her, not because we need her to keep this company running!” (Angrily)

  • “L-Listen. Just because I like the music and aesthetic in The Adventures of Glow Bear doesn’t mean that I’m a child. It’s quite sophisticated if you look into it.” (Bashfully and insistent)

    “Right, shutting down the main security gates. Hopefully, this will shut down the androids.” (Calmly)

    “...Oh, Herschel, Herschel, Herschel… Creating technology with programming easily susceptible to hackers? Seems like a ploy for cash from the highest bidder.” (With some amusement, and a chuckle)

Thomas is a sly cat-like boy who is a young high school student. He is a bit entitled, as the youngest brother of a billionaire, but he genuinely loves his family despite all of the pranks. He is usually a very teasing presence and can go a bit far, but he is learning and trying to improve his behavior.

Thomas stands at 5'2" with messy black hair and purple eyes. He has cat ears to match his siblings with transformation magic, and often he is seen in blacks and purples, especially with a bow tie and a suit.

Thomas has a higher, sly voice. Should come off and a sneaky, teasing young boy.

  • “Zaaaaaach, why am I not allowed to play outside anymore? It’s almost Winter!” (Complaining, childish)

    “So.. you’re Juliet? As in.. like.. from that cheesy play?” (Curiously)

    “Hey, hey, hey, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! Here, my name is Thomas Manx-Fusaro, but most people just call me Tom.” (Sheepishly at first with laughter. Then a confident intro)

  • “What? Cat got your tongue?” (Teasingly, with a little laugh)

    “Zach, I got those honey buns like you asked. Now can you make the game I asked you to?” (Losing patience)

    “Ohoho, Miss Elizabeth? In a strange costume? This would be a fun story to hear. Did Halloween come early this year?”  (With amusement, teasingly)

  • “Kind of unlucky for you to cross my path, don’t you think?” (Either threateningly or teasingly)

    “S-She isn’t in her room! I don’t know what happened, nothing’s broken or anything, she’s just gone!” (With panic)

Salavia is Mei's younger sister and she usually is found by the beach. She is the Keeper of Ocean and Current and she therefore loves to be outside and by the water. She often will show herself as cocky and mean at the beginning, but by the end, she is much more passive and remorseful. She is a professional surfer, but she could easily cheat using her powers.

Salavia stands at 5'8" and has medium length black hair with light blue streaks in it. She has sapphire blue eyes, and often dresses in shorts and tank tops with sandals because she is outside as much as she is.

Salavia has a medium high voice with a british accent. Must be able to have a large range of emotion.

  • “Get up, runt. You can’t possibly be that weak.” (harsh)

    “Here are 2,000 crowns. Now have at her.” (sinister, with a grin)

  • “I am the intensity of the ocean and the beauty of its beaches. It’s only natural that I am Ocean Keeper.” (Boastful)

    “I bet you haven’t even seen a shark before this!” (cocky, trying to be impressive)

    (Just mocking laughter)

  • (Complete change of persona) “Thank you… You freed me…” (somewhat surprised and exhausted)

    “I should never have listened to him… I should have just trusted you..” (sadly)

    “Mei.. can you ever forgive me?” (remorseful)

Sylvia is the charming little sister of main character Caius Erastos. Despite only seeming to be a young child, she is actually quite mature for her age, and usually always has something to say.  She is a middle school student and a proud Meridian Scout, which is kind of like being a girl scout. She usually spends her time boosting environmental programs and planting gardens when she isn't playing the Viola in orchestra. She's an adventurous girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind, and she is very stubborn about how she thinks.

Sylvia is about 5'2" with deep black hair often pulled into two braids. She is pale and has deep blue eyes like her brother. Unlike Caius, she dresses like she's always ready to go outside, meaning shorts, t-shirt, headband and tons of bracelets! Her aesthetic is very floral and fun.

Sylvia has a higher pitched voice, like a pre-teen, that's a little bit spunky and fun.

  • “We planted some trees in Amaryllis Forest today! Amy said we planted 40 just this afternoon! Isn’t that cool?” (Excitedly)

    “But whyyyy? They aren’t cute at all!” (complaining/ in a pout)

    “Ewwwwww, why would you say that????” (grossed out)

  • “Wait! Please! Let me help. I know my way around the forest, and I can show you all of the tunnels into the city!” (Insistent)

    “It’s an evergreen tree… because it was his favorite. Because they were strong in the winter…” (depressed, or about to cry)

    “Wait, are you being serious? …. You think… I can actually do something?? What can I do? I’ll do anything!” (slow at first, get more hopeful towards the end)

  • “Caiiiius, you know that I’m better at magic than you. There’s no competition!” (teasingly, maybe with a laugh)

    “Allllllright! Let’s do our best out there! These flowers aren’t planting themselves! (ready to go! peppy!)

Cyril Matsouka

Cyril Matsouka is  a mysterious and mischievous lad who likes to put on a more princely persona. He is the leader of the Cult "Ultimatum", a group that hones and enhances magical abilities and weaponry. Cyril himself wrote many magic spells that are commonly used by cheiveri today, including summoning spells, teleportation, black mag- . Well, Cyril also is a Latin Teacher at Calder High School, to which he changed his curriculum into an online app and game to keep his students engaged and learning by experience. He tries to play as a dark prince, but Cyril is a classic nerd at heart who cannot resist to play games of dungeons and dragons. He's also a bit of a softy at heart, and he usually has good intentions, even if he is insisting he doesn't.

Cyril is tall and lanky at 5'10" and he has medium length curly hair that is straightened until smooth. His hair is deep purple and he has gray eyes with slightly tanned skin. He likes to wear fancier and dramatic things, like black cloaks, boots, a hat and stuff like that.

 Cyril has a medium low voice, with a bit of a princely charm. He tends to act darker and slyer than he actually is, but his voice should come off smooth and chill.

  • “Excellent job, Ultimatum. We can rest easy tonight.” (relaxed, like a leader)

  • “Isn’t it obvious? I am meant to be the devil to your hero.” (darkly playful)

    “..Honestly, I don’t know what to do about my roommate complaining about a burglar taking out the garbage. … I think I’m going to see how long it takes for her to realize it was me.” (A bit dumbfounded at first, then slyly)

  • “Lioness, watch out!!!” (Urgent warning)

    “And so… You use the dative case when you are referring to something being given to someone else. So if the sentence said: “Magister tabulas discipulis dedit.” ((OR “The teacher gave tablets to the students” if you can’t Latin)) Then you would make the students dative.” (As a teacher)

Tigress is the lovable Navigator that helps Adrianna with her missions. Not much is known about her, other than the fact that she is a naturally gifted computer programmer and hacker. She also lives with her parents, who do not suspect that she is a navigator, and fully believe she is playing an online game with some friends. She is very sweet, and almost always goes by her codename Tigress. The only people who know Tigress's real name are Adrianna and Mei. She is very observant and a little bit playful, but she tends to try to be as helpful as possible, even though she is terrified of showing new people her face.

She is very small at 4'11" and has short, light orange hair with deep orange eyes. She is always seen in a tiger onesie with tiger paw slippers. Her fingers poke through the ends of the paw gloves so she can type.

She should have a medium to high pitched voice that balances between child and teenager at points.

 

  • “Cameras all out, Lioness. You got this!” (supportive)

    “Guards incoming on your left! Take a right and exit through the front. Two minutes until the systems come back on!” (navigating, peppy)

  • “You’re okay..! I was so scared you would get hurt again..! I’m so sorry, I should have been watching better, I should have-” (full of relief, sniffling)

    “No problem..! I can check that out after the meeting. It could have been the way I got in, but I wonder if there was an outside source causing that”  (calm and sweet)

  • “Lioness..! This is Tigress..! I can see KARA closing in towards the market from the other side. " (navigating, reporting)

    "What?? Mom, no!! We're doing a raid..!" (flustered)

Yurei Ryoushi

Yurei Ryoushi is a minor antagonist of Status Ready. Being the leader of KARA and a propagandist for the King, she holds nothing but contempt for cheiveri, believing the lies she spreads of them with sincerity and conviction. Depending on what time of the day you find the propagandist, she can either be breaking in new recruits, passionately giving "heroic" speeches to the people of Meridia, or simply complaining after a tiring day that her housemate didn't do their chores. 


Yurei is 6 feet tall and has red, mostly straight hair with green eyes and somewhat pale skin. More often than not she'll be 

in whatever uniform her work requires of her, but she has a fondness for a leather jacket.


Yurei has a medium low voice which can display a range of emotions, more often than not though her words are punctual and 

should come across as commanding and strong.

  • [Stern, building up to anger]: "The Scarlet fires. The revolts. Near-daily acts of terrorism targeting our country, our people!"


    [Seething anger, suppressed]: "The Cheiveri will pay for each and every one of their crimes. I'll see to that."

  • [Rousing, Speaking to an audience]: "They will bare their fangs. But we will not yield. For unlike them, we are not beasts. We are Meridia. As they hiss and growl, we will not falter. For we are Meridia. And as they cower and run from us in fear, to lick their wounds, we will not relent for we are Meridia!!"


    [Heroic and soft spoken, as if speaking to a child]: Don't worry, the town's safe under my watch. If there were any monsters here, they would have left as soon as they heard I was coming, okay?"

  • [Sarcastic, casual conversation]: "You're not the only one with a degree in history. Looks Roman enough to me."


    [Fear, overshadowed by apprehension/disgust]: "This...Isn't you. This has NEVER been you..."
