Spider-Man Year One - An AudioDrama Project
About the Creator
Hi my name is Lewis, also known as LewisFilms on YouTube, I have over 19,000 subscribers and I love Spider-Man! My passion is to create an AudioDrama story based of some of my favourite elements from the Spider-Man Comic Books mixed with some of my original ideas too! It's been made possible through lovely people willing to voice act in my project.
About the Project
This Spider-Man Audiobook is based off of the Comic Book, Spider-Man: Season One and loosely based off elements from the grander 616 Marvel Comics Universe. It will be released in Four Parts over the span of a few months. Part 1 is currently already in the editing process however, I need a few more roles!

Character Description
Peter Parker / Spider-Man is a high school student who is offered a place at Horizon High. He's intelligent, ambitious, and has the innate passion to do the right thing. However, due to money issues and his new found Powers, Peter finds himself in a tight spot of responsibility, as he decides whether to use his powers for his own self gain, or the good of mankind.

(Panicking) Oh god, oh god, oh god... Okay calm down, just don't panic! You can figure all this out, just assess the situation. (2) The situation is that I just flipped out the way of a moving car and stuck to the side of a wall!! (realizes)... That Spider, it was from the Horizon genetics lab! Oh no... What if I'm mutating? I don't wanna be a mutant! Maybe... Maybe it won't be so bad, no ones ever died from a genetically altered spider bite? ... Right...?
(To Himself / Contemplating) Maybe Mr Knox was right. Spider-Man has caused nothing but pain. Not just for me, but for others. And I'm happy - maybe it is time to hang up the tights?
(Down / Talking to Uncle Ben's Grave) I lost the Horizon High opportunity. But I did the right thing. I stopped the woman that killed you. At first I'll admit, I wanted her dead. All I wanted was revenge... But... I didn't stop her for vengeance. I stopped her so she couldn't do the same to anyone else. (3) Because you were the one that taught me, that with great power, comes great responsibility. Spider-Man isn't a wrestler, a celebrity, or vengeful... He's... He's just a kid trying to do the right thing. (3) I love you Uncle Ben and I miss you...
Character Description
May Parker, aka Aunt May, is the Aunt of Peter Parker and guardian alongside Ben Parker. She's kind, caring and very protective over her nephew and her family.

(Concerned) Listen Peter... I don't know what's going on with you but you've been so secretive lately. I thought that it was something to do with Ben, but... It started before then.
(Sure of herself) Peter Parker! If there's one thing your Uncle Ben would be, is proud. No matter what, he will always be proud of you.
(Annoyed) Ben Parker! Don't be encouraging my nephew to do such silly things!
Character Description
Ben Parker, is Peter Parker's Uncle and legal guardian alongside Aunt May. He is very laid back and relatable. He finds himself on the wavelength of his nephew, more times than not, which makes it all the more heart wrenching when he looses his life midway through the series.

(Joking) Hey, maybe I should design some booster rocket suit, a few high-flying heists and we wouldn't have to worry about the energy bills for a couple'a months.
(More of a 'teaching a lesson' vibe) I mean, 'superhero' is a lose term but what else would you call the guy? Like I always tell you Pete, with great power, comes great responsibility. This guy doesn't seem all that responsible. They're all in it for the money and fame, they couldn't care less about the little guy. Anyway, you helping with the gardening tonight?
(To Peter) Just make sure your back before curfew or your Aunt May will go nuts!
Character Description
Mr Knox, a partially original character, is a wrestling Manager, who's sole purpose is to try and bring Peter Parker as Spider-Man through the ranks to make him globally famous. He's ambitious, sharp, and all about making as much money as possible!

Listen kid, the public want something different, something unique. Something that they've never seen before, okay? (1) You'll need some fancy duds too!
You can't take your mask off! Listen kid... Um (chuckles nervously) Technically I don't know your age, so under that mask you could be any ol' New Yorker. And I know you're a smart kid, so you must know that if it so happened you were a minor, I'm by law not allowed to employ you.
(Serious) This ain't just bad, kid, you have been branded public enemy number one! You want my advice? Just go back to the life you had. Try to be normal. Spider-Man is done. Forever.

Max Modell, the Professor and head of Horizon High is always looking for the brightest minds to come and study at his school.

Since the construction we've told people to take the week off, this is no environment to work in. In the mean time, we'd like everyone to study for this semesters finals... (more sympathetic) Anyway, how are you? I heard about your Uncle...
(Disappointed) I know this is the first time you've skipped first class and you only missed one period but we were cautious that something like this might happen... What I'm trying to say is that we're concerned about the situation you find yourself in regarding your Uncle. You sleeping okay at night? Everything okay at home?

J Jonah Jameson is the head publisher at the Daily Bugle Newspaper Company. After thinking of a plan to outsell other newspaper companies, he starts hating on Spider-Man to generate more sales.

SPIDER-MAN?! What a fraud! Does a couple of wrestling matches and thinks he's the all star! He's even too afraid to show his face! Heh, all these papers think they can outsell the Daily Bugle.
I'm impressed Miss Brant. And I'm not an easy man to impress. You have single handedly managed to turn the entire city against this masked menace! Our numbers haven't been this high in years!

Flash Thompson is the resident jock of Midtown High. He's known for bullying Peter Parker all throughout his school career. He's also in love with Spider-Man...
