Knuckles is independent, headstrong, devoted to his duty and slightly gullible. He is very serious and usually likes to be by himself, but can be relied upon to help out whenever the world is in danger.

Rouge is a strong-minded, fearless, ambitious, and flirty young bat. She has been known to seduce people with her adorning looks to get what she wants, such as chaos emeralds

Shadow is a "lone wolf" who distances himself from Sonic and his friends. He is among the darkest and most violent character in the series, destroying anything that gets in his way.

Silver is a polite hedgehog with a strong sense of justice, who can be very serious changing his future or when the future is at stake with relentless determination. Silver hates those who make others suffer, and will try to help out in any way he can

Blaze is normally calm, elegant and level-headed, but tends to conceal her true feelings. Devoted to her position, she sometimes gets herself bogged down by her own self-imposed strict discipline, which made her anti-social, withdrawn, and initially unfamiliar to the concept of having friends.
