Introduction:
Welcome to the casting call for the Sonic Colours Abridged Series
I am KFCMan and the creator of the series. And now I've finished scripting this series so I can release this casting call! I hope all of you would like to audition, it would mean a lot to me!
What is the Sonic Colours Abridged series?
The Sonic Colours abridged series is an abridged series on the game Colours. An abridged series is a light-hearted comedic parody of a show or a game that shortens it's story and fandubs the characters.
The Sonic Colours Abridged Series will follow the plotline of the Wii/Ultimate version of Sonic Colours. Eggman builds an Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park, where he captures Wisps to fuel his Mind control cannon that he will shoot towards earth. Join Sonic, Tails and Yacker as they set out to destroy 6 generators and save the aliens.
There are several changes as to how events play out in this series from the original game.
Voice Actor Rules and Requirements
1. Please be over the age of 16.
2. Please have decent microphone quality. You don't need to have the cream of the crop, however please don't bring a potato mic. A clear microphone with little to no background noise will be enough.
3. While auditioning, please try to do multiple takes of the same line with different expressions. 3 takes per box should do.
4. Communication will largely take place through discord and CCC.

Deadlines
The following roles have a deadline of
October 11th: Sonic, Tails, Yacker, Eggman
October 18th: Orbot, Cubot, Extra Wisp roles, Extra Boss roles.
These deadlines are final and will not be changed.
Sonic is basically the same as he is in the actual games. A little attitude, laid back and cracking jokes. Although all the tropes of abridged series are in swing here, making funs about little oddities and ways the game works. Quite a bit of vocal range will be needed for this part as some lines require excessive shouting.
And yes, there will be swearing.
This role has a line count of roughly 150
Luckily for us he's dumb enough to leave his scams blatantly in the open. It's almost like he's desperate for the money. Let's take a look around this place, there's gotta be more to this.

And having big evil bosses here just confirms everything. Way to count on Eggman for spelling it all out to me.

Tails is sonics best friend and accompanies him to stop Eggmans evil plan. He doesn't accomplish a whole lot though, but is completely aware of that. Once again there will be swearing and abridged series tropes.

Oh, before you go! Word of warning. The next zone is said to be extremely damaging to your eyesight.

Yacker in the abridged series can speak! They're overly talkative and will just nonstop talk, unless under the influence of sweet mountain ground that is.
As with other characters there will most likely be swearing involved.

Dr Eggman is largely the same as in the real games. A mad scientist who's plots never seem to work. He's always gloating and cocky until the end where everything falls apart. Abridged series tropes will come into play, characters making fun of the game and tropes within it. This role will require being able to talk quite fast for some of the automated park messages that eggman voices.
And there will likely be swearing.

Orbot is one of Eggmans robot henchmen and in the abridged series, orbot is normally the one unironically making fun of eggman for all his mistakes.

Cubot is another one of eggmans henchmen, unlike orbot cubot has a very vulgar mouth. He swears a lot.

Cyan is absolutely pissed at sonic for everything at the start. But warms up (i guess) towards the end.
