Sonic AU audio shorts
Project Overview
I am in the middle of producing a Sonic SatAM comic skit series. While I work on that, I've decided to start another, smaller project. This will be a series of audio shorts setting up an audio drama that will be posted to the Shadow Enterprises YouTube channel.
This project is non-paid as it currently stands. This may change in the future after I get a job, but the pay will not be extravagant. If you are cast, I may ask you to return for future episodes. I do hope for quality audio. More characters will be added as they are needed, so keep an eye out if you weren't cast the first time around.

For this portrayal, I'm looking for something that sounds approximately 9 or 10 years old. And if you could, I would like just a subtle hint of a British accent.

I don't get it, though. What was the point?
King Acorn should sound firm, articulate, and hardy. He speaks like a seasoned ruler, with brutal experience having toughened him into being fierce and disciplined. A very serious demeanor overall, but be able to "lower the gates", so to speak. Top it off with a posh British accent.
The point was, life as a ruler is not easy. It is not comfortable, considerate, or fun. You will suffer.
You're not. But that's not why we're out here. You will one day be the Queen of Mobius. There are lessons you must learn.
I fought my first battle on a night like this. I led my first campaign through the winter sleet.
Sir Charles is a gruff, work-focused scientist. He is stubborn and not easily intimidated. He has a soft spot for children, and reserves his kindness for them (especially his nephews and niece). His serious attitude stems largely from the loss of his younger brother and his sister-in-law.
There are seven in total. We don't know their origin, but we do know they are powerful, unstable objects.
If you value your freedom, you will be silent. Such talk is treasonous.

Unlike her fierce and commanding husband, Alicia Acorn is a calm, gentle Mobian. She cares deeply for her daughter and her people. Having grown up poor in a rural settlement, Alicia sympathizes with commonfolk and acts with their best interests at heart.
I don't understand why you must antagonize your father. He is only doing what what any responsible father would do.
That's how kingdoms are born. Alliances are forged, families betrayed, and bloodlines ended. I was the adopted daughter of a lowly noble, I never met the king before our wedding day.
You... you will be betraying your father if you leave. You will be betraying the Acorn Kingdom. Nothing I say or do will exempt you.
Manic is the youngest of his siblings. He's a hard worker, but due to his short temper has a bit of a mouth. Despite his short fuse, Manic is often a chipper fella. He tries to mimic his brother's coolness, with varying degrees of success. Here's an example of his voice:

Sonia is the oldest of her siblings. While she is graceful and sophisticated, she will not hesitate to roll up her sleeves and get some work done. I'll leave this one open to interpretation.
It'd be nice if I had some peace and quiet for a full sixty seconds!
Do you boys always have to be such little gremlins? Learn some manners.
I trust her. And if she's willing to put in the work, I don't see why we can't let her stay.
Nicole is the daughter of a royal servant, and being one of the only children allowed in the castle, befriended the young Princess Sally. If it's not already evident, Nicole is not an A.I. in this universe. I'm leaving it open to interpretation, but I would like something that is not monotone.
I- uh... It's nothing. Just a letter from home.
Of course I am. I'm your friend. Why would you even think that? We've known each other for years.
I'm sorry. I'm not doing this to hurt you or your family. But the Ash Clan is rounding up soldiers, and if I don't go back they'll take my brothers. They're too young to fight!
Each video will need one background image to set the mood and give context clues. Digital art is preferred, but traditional art may be considered. Multiple artists may be selected.
