King Acorn should sound firm, articulate, and hardy. He speaks like a seasoned ruler, with brutal experience having toughened him into being fierce and disciplined. A very serious demeanor overall, but be able to "lower the gates", so to speak. Top it off with a posh British accent.
The point was, life as a ruler is not easy. It is not comfortable, considerate, or fun. You will suffer.
You're not. But that's not why we're out here. You will one day be the Queen of Mobius. There are lessons you must learn.
I fought my first battle on a night like this. I led my first campaign through the winter sleet.
It's not bad, but it sounds too quick-paced, like you were rushing to get each line out in one breath. You slurred a couple words because of it. When reading lines, I suggest thinking about where a natural pause would be. Say this line, say this line, pause for breath, continue. If that makes any sense. I'm saying this because your voice could be a decent fit, but the way you spoke didn't sound invested, like a father speaking warningly to his daughter.
