Sonic and the Duel of Fates - Voice Actors Needed!
Project Overview
Sonic and the Duel of Fates is a 2D Sonic fangame that takes place within the Modern timeline. It is built on the RSDKv4 decompilation, which was the engine used to create to Sonic 1 and 2 mobile remakes.
The story structure is similar to the Adventure-era. You will take control of Sonic and Shadow within their own stories and point of view's as it all rounds up together in the Final Story.

Audition Notes:
Make sure the quality of your microphone is good and free of background noise.
A Discord account is required since it's a good way to communicate, send over the lines and is mainly where development happens.
You're free to make characters sound like any iteration from a past entry. For example, Knuckles can sound like Dave B. Mitchell (Frontiers, CrossWorlds), Dan Green (Sonic 06, Sonic and the Black Knight). Another example; Shadow can sound like Kirk Thornton (Sonic Forces, Shadow Generations), Jason Griffith (Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06), or even Keanu Reeves (Sonic the Hedgehog 3). You get the idea.
Dubbing:
If accepted, you'll need to be able to do live recording sessions - this means that we'll hop into a Discord voice chat, and you'll say and record your lines in real time so feedback can be given right after. This would be wise as it ensures to best quality of recording as feedback and tips can be given in real time.
For figuring out time differences, my time zone is UTC+00:00, and the time zone of the other voice director is UTC+01:00.
Record your lines in any software you want, but Audacity is preferred. And send over your lines all together in a .wav file with mono channels. I can split the lines up and input them into the game.
The reason we don't have listings for specific characters like Sonic and Tails specifically, is because those roles have already been cast, so there is no reason to list them here.

Shadow is one of the main characters of this game, having at least half of the game dedicated to his POV of where things are going.
Shadow is an artificial being created by Professor Gerald Robotnik, Eggman's grandfather. He fightsto protect the planet, and to carry Maria's wish with him at all times. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, he has been requested by G.U.N. to investigate an old abandoned temple, which has previously had records of Eggman activity.

Knuckles is a side character but still makes regular appearances.
Knuckles is the last of the echidnas, after his tribe was wiped out he was given the role of protector of the Master Emerald, a giant green emerald that is capable of controlling the power of the 7 Chaos Emeralds. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, he starts off with his own journey after Eggman has stolen the Master Emerald through the power of his new and powerful robots. At some point in the game, he'll tag along with Sonic & Tails in search for the Master Emerald.

Amy is a side character but still makes regular appearances.
Amy is Sonic's first friend after their encounter on Little Planet, and has joined his adventures ever since. She is a cheery and slightly-erratic girl but with quite a fiery temper. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, Amy is on her own journey travelling the world and sharing her love. She will encounter Sonic, Tails and Knuckles at some point in the game, and tag along with them.

If I had to choose between the world and Sonic, I would choose Sonic.
Rouge is one of the sub-main characters, as she tags along with Shadow for the entirety of the game.
Rouge is a professional jewel thief, thanks to her good ability of stealth, she become a top-tier agent at G.U.N. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, she is working alongside Shadow the entire time with their primary objective being to investigate an old and abandoned temple with recent Eggman activity.

E-123 Omega is a side character but still makes regular appearances.
E-123 Omega is Eggman's creation, and the strongest robot in the E series entirely. He holds a strong hatred for Eggman and will not hesitate to eliminate him or any of his machines. He also teams up with Shadow and Rouge occasionally, creating Team Dark. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, you'll first find him doing the usual, battling Eggman robots, but he will tag along with you.

Doctor Eggman is a sub-main character in this game, since he's the main antagonist.
Doctor Ivo Robotnik (better known as Doctor Eggman) is a scientist with an IQ of 300 with a dream for world domination. He has tried countless of times to conquer the world, but he's been stopped by the same obstacles every time. That being no other than Sonic and his friends every time. Although in Sonic and the Duel of Fates he isn't alone this time. He has his daughter Sage to help him with his schemes and calculates millions of scenarios that can ensure his victory over Sonic.

Sage is a humanoid artificial intelligence created by Doctor Eggman, and is considered by him his best creation yet, and his daughter. She was bought to life through the power of Cyber Space, but sacrificed herself to save the planet in the first ending of Sonic Frontiers. In Sonic and the Duel of Fates, she is bought back to life by her father and now she helps him with his schemes to take over the world.

Orbot is one of Eggman's assistants. Although he doesn't like him that much, he remains loyal to him. Orbot is also sassy, serious and intelligent.

Cubot is another one of Eggman's assistants. Like Orbot, he doesn't like him that much, but remains loyal. Cubot is also sassy, silly and lazy.
