Project Overview
So Once Was I is an indie animation project series created by two animators stemmed from their own au based on Lord of The Rings. I currently have the pilot finished and have and I plan on having 12 episodes per season.
We currently have two music composers, three animators, a background/concept artist as well as a few others on the team!
The series is specifically going to be ANIMATIC style instead of full animation (though there will be animated parts sometimes. More characters will be introduced along the way, so don’t fret if you don’t get picked this round!
Above is a sample of how the pilot looks! (it will look a bit more cleaned up in the future)

Story
Old friends of divinity find each other, and themselves while fighting a sickness that was supposed to be eradicated from the lands centuries earlier
The God of Death, Moriddian, and servant of Dream God, Elliot, go on adventures discovering what it means to be mortal. During their experiences, they must overcome obstacles like plague, ignorance, evil, and even each other. This started with two friends making a Lord of the Rings sonas turned into a full series and pilot episode.

What are the requirements?
Having a decent quality microphone with little to no background noise, experience is not a requirement.
Have a commitment to the project and not drop out in the middle of production. Especially if you’re cast as the main character.
Have confidentiality in the content throughout the production of SOWI. Don’t leak them spoilers
Please be respectful and easy to work with. I don’t wanna have to fight you.
Have a discord and means of contact through social media accounts (instagram, twitter, email)
Status on the show
Currently, the pilot is done and season one is in development. We have side projects to help promote the project and just for fun. Character designs and concepts are being built and put together
Author’s note
Feel free to try different styles for the character's voices, don't be afraid to improv too. Hopefully, there's enough to work on as this is my first time holding auditions.

Elliot can be described as the rule follower, the disciplined one of the duo. He doesn’t see things as creatively as Moriddian does, and he constantly has to adjust his way of thinking and seeing things. Elliot also has a much rarer fiery side to him, and this diversity allows him to bond with many different kinds of people in different ways.
He is a dream Viah, Elliot holds a large amount of power both magically and politically. He treats his role as a Viah with the utmost respect. Because he holds his status so highly, he often puts a lot of pressure on himself to live up to his ideals.
Narrative role: Elliot is the main character; the story primarily follows his perspective.
You don't have to do anything moriddian. This, however, is my job (pause) … you can just go back to the realm of souls and do whatever your so-called (almost taunting) ‘grand celestial duties are supposed to be as a god of death.
I can show you. I can show you how the mortals are, how they live, how they feel, everything good, what… What living Is! I can show you in my realm. I’ll take you with me to his headspace, where his dreams are where his memories are! I’ll show you! surely you could understand more, maybe everything I have -

Bonney is the god of war, tactics and battle. She is strong-hearted and takes on a leadership role most of the time with the other gods. She is very kind and gentle than how others may see the god of war. She is also mischievous and chaotic in a light-hearted way.

Pauper is the light diah, she is one of the main four and even though it says supporting she plays an important role in later content and so on. She is a powerful person and collected a lot of the time. She speaks without a lot of emotion a lot of the time and sounds passive. I was thinking about the end of Azulas power of voice from the avatar.
We the diah have a duty to what we have created to fix what we have done.
We will stop this at no end, we will fix it. I promise you this.
