Spiritboy Studios is looking for a 2D Animator to help bring Shadow School, our upcoming animated horror series, to life!

About the project

Shadow School is an indie 2D animated series featuring supernatural horror, mystery, and character-driven drama. The visual direction takes inspiration from expressive indie animation, including Hazbin Hotel, while developing its own original characters and visual identity.

Episodes are planned to run approximately 10–15 minutes.

What you'll do

• Animate character movements, expressions, and dialogue scenes.

• Help bring storyboarded scenes to life.

• Collaborate with the creator and other team members to maintain a consistent visual style.

• Help develop the animation style through short tests and scenes.

What we're looking for

• An interest in 2D animation and horror storytelling.

• Examples of your animation work or a portfolio, if available.

• Good communication and willingness to collaborate.

• Reliability and a willingness to work together on an indie project.

Software

Any 2D animation software is welcome. Please mention which software you use when applying.

Position type: Indie collaboration. Compensation and project arrangements will be discussed transparently before anyone commits.

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for voice actors interested in bringing our original characters to life! We welcome beginners and experienced performers. Actors should be able to convey emotion, follow character direction, and record clear dialogue with minimal background noise.

What you'll deliver:

• Character dialogue recordings for assigned scenes.

• Multiple takes when requested.

• Emotional range suited to your character.

• Reasonable communication about availability and deadlines.

Requirements:

• A microphone and a quiet recording space.

• Any recording software you’re comfortable using (Audacity, for example).

• Willingness to collaborate with the director and creative team.

Role type: Supporting and lead character roles may be available. Character assignments and audition details will be shared as development progresses.

Compensation: Payment or other compensation arrangements have not yet been confirmed and will be discussed transparently before anyone commits to work.
