Hi there! Welcome to "A unique audition"

This project includes a unique audition which I use to get an understanding of the actors that I work with. These involve complex emotions such as anger, happiness, frustration, jealousy, limerence, disassociation, fury, intimidation, love, fright, guilt, shame, etc.

I made this audition for the actors in my project to get an understanding of which characters suited their acting style.  

Throughout the duration of some of the projects that I've worked with, I just couldn't help but feel...that there many talented actors/actresses that I overlooked due to mic quality or sound quality, etc.

So I decided to make this audition to help anyone who may be interested in voiceover.

The premise of the audition is very simple. 

It's a 252 word audition and it features very difficult and challenging acting lines.

The actor or actress simply acts out the audition to the best of his or her abilities. 

I will pay no attention to microphone and sound quality. The only thing I will focus on is the acting.

If I feel the actor demonstrated talent in the audition, I will then pay that actor/actress $150.

Conditions:

$150 is paid for the cast audition. 

Any other lines after this audition?

No.  

Just this audition and nothing else. 

Payment: 

Paid by Paypal. You are paid immediately when you are cast for the audition. 

Requirements:

Any microphone. 

Any accent. 

Any age. 

Any tone.

Any gender.

  • Final winners for A Unique Audition

    Hi there! I wanted to give an update regarding "A Unique Audition" First off, I wanted to thank everyone here who participated in the project. There were a lot of fantastic auditions and so many talented actors. When I created this project initially, I wanted to do something to help out the voice-actors in Casting Call Club. So I made this project. "A Unique Audition" As the auditions started coming in, I came up with a fantastic realization. And that was (gasp) there was no way I could only choose one winner for this competition. As the auditions starting coming in, I realized there was a bit of a dilemma. I found that there were two types of contestants. Those who had great equipment for voiceover. And those who didn't. In the end, I couldn't discount the actors that *did* have equipment. I couldn't take them out of the equation. But at the same time, I couldn't ignore the main reason I began the competition and that was to help out actors and actresses to get an upgrade in equipment to get closer to their goals. So in the end, we have four winners. I'd like to formally introduce the winners here. DevanteJVO LADDSOL andrewmouet tsukoro Congratulations guys!     Hello there. Just a friendly reminder that the script has been shortened and simplified as many are having difficulty uploading the entire audition due to the size of lines. The auditions and sheer talent at Casting Call Club is absolutely staggering. I'm amazed at the tremendous talent of the people here. Thank you for auditioning everyone!
