This was a really fantastic audition. I've been struggling thinking about what to do here but I thought you did great. You pretty much covered a lot of the emotions and you covered the ones that a lot of actresses struggled with. I also liked your version of the ANGER and INTERROGATION lines. Believe it or not, a lot of actresses struggle with those lines and you nailed it. I think my only concern and my only pause had nothing to do with audition..but rather...your past auditions. I feel like a lot of your auditions in the past were done very, very hastily, speeding right through the lines, etc. And perhaps that's not a fair comparison but I tend to listen to every audition of anyone I feel is a match but I wanted to give you feedback. Overall, fantastic job

Thank you so much for your feedback, it's really encouraging and I've learned so much from this audition. And you're absolutely right, nearly all of my past auditions were done in a rush because I didn't have time, whether it was because of mounting schoolwork or lack of alone time for recording - I apologize for the slipshod quality. This was the first audition where I was able to isolate myself and take my time to really concentrate. Now that I've seen what a difference it makes, I'll be sure to devote a lot more time to my auditions in the future - I think that, as just a novice with a rather shitty earbud mic, I wasn't ready to commit much time towards voice acting before. Your note has really made me want to do more. I have to be honest, this audition was sort of a test of potential for myself- I told myself that if I won, I'd get myself a quality mic with the prize money and get into VA a lot more. It's something I've wanted to do for a while but was too much of a wimp to consider seriously.

I had no idea you were using earbuds in your past auditions. Let's do it! Please place your audition under your Named slot and I will cast it. I promised myself that I was going to upgrade someone and I'm glad I'm able to do it. Sent you a PM
