Hello Casting Call Club, I'm Eric of Crumbling Cube Entertainment.
A few years ago, we started a series of RWBY fan videos called "RWBY Thoughts." The premise of which is to take everyone's favourite scenes and characters and let everyone know what they're thinking via narration. These thoughts can be in character or out and can range from comedic to more serious in nature. Since then the project has expanded to also include Non-Descript Winter Holiday (Christmas) Specials in the form of a RWBY Chibi inspired puppet show (see the explainer video for reference.) For this year, I'm upping the ante and therefore the cast. I need two supporting VAs to round out our cast of villains.
Directionally, we aren't aiming for 100% impressions here. The most important thing is to be close enough to the original voices, while remaining in character. I love collaborating with acting talent and you’ll have free reign to voice the lines how you see fit, unless otherwise specified in the script. I will only overrule a reading if necessary. Heck you can even ad-lib some lines, as long as you deliver a take with what’s written.
Knowledge of RWBY and its associated lore is not required, but highly preferable.
In terms of editing, raw takes are ok as we’re used to editing those out when we do the voice-overs and editing ourselves. You are of course free to edit them down if you see fit. For technical specifications, WAV or AAC preferred, MP3 acceptable. Sample rate should ideally be 44100hz or 48000hz. Audio should be mostly free of background noise and have a minimum bitrate of 64 kbps with 192kbps or more being preferred. Some white noise from HVAC is acceptable, but please record 5 seconds of silence so that it can be filtered out.

Emerald's her chibi self in this iteration. She kisses up to Cinder and has a sort of sibling relationship with Mercury.

Merc's the lovable goofy jerk in Cinder's gang. Although he does his fair share of complaining and bickering with Emerald, he's loyal to Cinder's cause.
