Hey everyone! I’m the director, artist, and showrunner for a brand-new animated passion project called RUNMAN, and I’m looking for a volunteer animator to partner up and bring it to life.It’s a dialogue-high-octane action-survival series heavily inspired by that golden 2015 era of clean, geometric indie vector animation (think classic Newgrounds/early streaming style).The Plot:The main character is an ordinary guy named Sean Evans living in South Carolina. Out of nowhere, it's revealed to a select group of people that a hidden stash of $5 million cash has been buried inside a mountain in Wyoming, and whoever gets there first can mine it and claim the prize. He completely abandons his family in the middle of the night without a word. The series follows his grueling 2,000-mile journey across the United States. Early on, he pulls off a massive plot twist by catching a high-speed express freighter that rockets him halfway across the country in a single night, vaulting him ahead of the pack but leaving him completely stranded in the flatlands of the Midwest.My Role (What I Bring):The Story: I am handling 100% of the plot lines, writing, and direction.The Audio: I am doing all the audio production (creating heavy music soundtracks and crisp, punchy, realistic sound design and voice lines).The Art: I am designing and drawing the flat character models, background layouts, and environmental assets.What I Need (What You’ll Do):I'm looking for a hobbyist or portfolio-building animator. I will provide the finished, raw artwork files, but I will not be making the rigs. You will be responsible for setting up the asset warp pins, bone structures, or symbol hierarchies exactly how you prefer to work, and then handling the frame-by-frame character movement and background pans. I will supply the finished streaming audio tracks and scene pacing so you can focus entirely on making the motion look awesome.I'm not trying to sound commanding and give you alot of work.
