Run, Hide, Fight — Active Threat Safety Video
Project Overview
We are producing a short active-threat safety video for Taylor University that explains the Run, Hide, Fight procedure. This is a student project created for a "Producing For Clients" class, and is going to be an updated version of a previous video from a few years back.
The video will provide clear, practical instructions to help students, faculty, and staff understand how to respond in an emergency. We are looking for a narrator who can communicate serious safety information in a calm, clear, confident, and reassuring voice while maintaining a professional tone. The project also emphasizes Taylor’s commitment to community, encouraging students and faculty to look out for and support one another. This video will most likely be posted online and used for New Student Orientation.
We need someone with a clear, confident, calm, and professional voice who can communicate serious safety information in a reassuring and easy-to-understand way. This is for a student produced safety video at Taylor University.

When you recognize danger, your first priority should be to run. If it is safe to do so, evacuate in the opposite direction of the threat. Respond fast without hesitation, leaving any belongings behind. Find the nearest and safest exits.
If you don’t have time or opportunity to evacuate, you must lock down and control your room. This involves locking and barricading the door if possible. Remember to use desks, chairs, tables, or anything else heavy that would allow you to barricade the door.
While it’s not always possible to notice signs of suspicious activity, we should always strive to remain alert. By staying aware of your surroundings and noticing potential dangers, you can prevent a threatening situation before it even happens. Remember, if you see something, say something.
