Roblox: TRIAL
Project Overview
The gameplay is very direct. Four players are thrown into a series of brutal Trials where they're forced to complete grueling objectives. Once a task is assigned, they have no choice but to obey. After a short briefing, the players are transported to another location where the actual Trial begins. The core gameplay revolves around solving intricate puzzles, using environmental clues to progress, scavenging for resources, and avoiding deadly enemies and traps scattered throughout the Facility. Every objective pushes players deeper into dangerous territory while constantly testing their awareness, teamwork, and ability to survive under pressure. Once a Trial is completed, the game gives players a false sense of accomplishment as if they've finally earned their freedom. In reality, they've only completed another experiment. They may have escaped that particular Trial, but they're never truly free; they remain bound to ORVELL's experiments, their conditioning, and the endless cycle of testing.

PLEASE PROVIDE A DISCORD HANDLE - WE HAVE A STAFF AND COMMUNITY SERVER!
WE HAVE A LARGE TEAM AND WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!
Morrow is TRIAL’s first enemy: a stoic, cult-like former pastor whose faith has twisted into judgment, resentment, and religious extremism. Once a man who preached forgiveness and goodness, he became consumed by the cruelty and betrayal he endured, ultimately transforming into something far removed from the person he once was.
We’re looking for a voice actor who can portray a calm, solemn, authoritative, and deeply unsettling character. His voice should carry the weight of a former preacher, with restrained anger and an underlying sense of conviction. He doesn’t need to shout to be threatening; his presence should speak for itself.
We love when actors take ownership of their character... feel free to add extra lines to your submission!
- male adult
Different takes of grunting. Context: Swinging a knife at the player
Different takes of taking a hit. Context: Getting stunned by the player
Finishing Player / “It’s alright… I’ll make something of you.”
Antagonist / Psychological Horror Entity
This entity exists in a fractured perception of time. To them, every encounter has already happened countless times. Every death, every chase, every scream is something they remember, even if it never actually occurred.
They believe:
They’ve killed the player before
They’ve seen every possible outcome
Escape is impossible because it’s already failed
In reality, they are an inmate heavily affected by experimental chemicals, causing extreme temporal delusion and dissociation. Their mind loops. Memories overwrite themselves, stack, repeat.
Voice Direction
Ethereal, layered voice (male, female, or blended)
Multiple takes slightly out of sync to simulate “time overlap”
Lines should feel like they’re repeating, interrupting themselves, or continuing past their own end
Calm → unstable → calm again, like a broken loop
Scared and nervous. Going crazy. Coughing from the chemicals they're constantly breathing
Audio feel:
Echoes that don’t match timing
Words that repeat faintly after being spoken
Occasional pitch shifts mid-line
Some lines should sound like they’ve already been said before the actor finishes them
We love when actors take ownership of their character... feel free to add extra lines to your submission!

Chasing Player “You always run here! No, no—this is where you fall! I’ve seen it. I’ve seen it! I’ve seen it!! Why do you keep choosing the same path?”
This is an experimental role as we've just begun creation of TRIAL's OST. Vocals can range from a single line to preforming a larger part of a song. Consider this role for fun or as practice to enhance your skills! Typically the singer will be at a hushed volume, but can also escalate. Our goal is to be able to create soundtracks that produce calmness of tension.
I'll attempt to leave comments on your submissions to ask you questions... Or answer any you have!
Tell us about yourself. Do you have any experience in singing? Any profiles/ videos/ songs made?
Tell us about your pitching, how high/ low can you go? How hushed/ loud can you get whilst remaining audible.
Sing us a twinkle twinkle litter star🙏
