Project Overview
Hello! I'm currently creating an animated Risk of Rain series on youtube. I'm putting out this casting call to find someone who can voice The Commando, as that is my next planned episode.
Episode 1 is already complete and episode 2 is nearing completion.

Payment:
Flat rate of $50 for this episode. 16 lines in total.
(For any subsequent episodes, price will increase along with increase of line count, and stay the same even with lower line count.)
Requirements:
1. If you take this role, I will be coming back to you again in the future. As this is a series, you'll be needed for multiple episodes. (For this role in particular, it probably won't be for a while)
2. As for recording quality, I ask that there is not an abundance of noise and the voice is clear and loud. Very prominent S sounds are a problem I've run into, but it's not a dealbreaker as I've found ways to skirt around the problem.
3. I'd prefer to communicate through discord. Please provide it with your audition.
4. There is no need for audio sync with the animation, as all the characters wear helmets. I can adjust animation around the voice acting. So feel free to take pauses where you feel they should be and do whatever feels most natural!

The Commando is a normal guy who had his time in the military. He was a good soldier, did his duty. He doesn't have an over-the-top or wacky voice, more mid-range. I’ve found that a more conversational tone feels best. Has a past that he regrets and is trying to make up for.
