Hiii!! I'm Parfait & I'm the creator of Quest for Cosmos!!! So let's get into the rules & general synopsis of the roleplay!!!
WHAT IS QUEST FOR COSMOS? ⋆˙⟡
Quest for Cosmos is intended to be a 12 episode minecraft roleplay!!! (episode count could be changed for a multitude of reasons so keep that in mind) It's heavily inspired by high fantasy magical girl media!!! Everything is very pink, glitter, princesses and unicorns!!!

Please be 18+ if you're auditioning to be a voice actor (with the exception of Lyra & extras, please feel free to audition for those roles at any age)!!! A lot of these characters will be romantically involved with one another & I would just prefer our VA's to be adults to avoid any uncomfortable situations!!!
Please edit out any bloopers but you are welcome to do as many takes as you want, in any format you want!!!

BACKSTORY OF QUEST FOR COSMOS ♫ ❤︎
At first, the land was just a girl named Serenity. After centuries on her own, she had grown bored and felt an unfamiliar loneliness she couldn’t quite understand. Confused by her overwhelming emotions, Serenity began to cry stardust tears, and those tears created life. This was when she discovered her goddess-like powers, her ability to create life and protect it. For many years, she created more and more things: the flowers, the grass on the ground, the fish in the sea, the animals in the forest, and one day, Serenity thought she needed to make something bigger. Something more like her. Thus, the very first unicorn was born. A lovely girl with the face and hands of a human, but the hooves and horn of a unicorn. She was to be the ruler of the forthcoming kingdom that Serenity had planned. Shortly after the unicorn kingdom was created, Serenity decided that she’d like to make a new kind of species.
The dragon kingdom was born. The unicorn queen grew curious about the dragon kingdom after only having her own people for so long. Of course, she loved her people, but they were all so similar. They were all very cookie-cutter, prim and proper, just like her. So she let her curiosity get the better of her as she ventured off to the Dragon Kingdom. Upon arriving, she saw things she never even thought of before. It was something far more barbaric than the unicorn kingdom. The kingdom bathed in fire and stone was still something beautiful to behold, just different. The unicorn queen made her way over to the dark and foreboding castle that took center stage in the kingdom. There she met the dragon queen. When the unicorn queen saw her, she was awestruck. She had never seen a more beautiful girl in her life.
The unicorn queen and dragon queen talked for hours in her castle, laughing and giggling the night away. This was the first time they had met someone so different from them and yet so similar. They both understood the pressures of being a queen and being the sole caretaker and provider for their people. Somewhere in the conversation, the unicorn queen kisses the dragon queen, the dragon queen reciprocates, and the unicorn queen decides to spend the night. They were in love and so happy.
One day, the unicorn queen informs her people of the dragon kingdom, a fact they had been blissfully unaware of since they lived in their own bubble above the ground. Serenity wanted to keep her very first creations closest to her. So the unicorn kingdom goes down to see the dragon kingdom by their queen's request. This was meant to unite the kingdoms as the unicorn queen and dragon queen were to be married, but when their people met, they found their differences too great, and tensions rose, leading to violence.
The unicorn and dragon queen, being distraught by their people's violence, turned to Serenity and pleaded with her to separate the two kingdoms. They were willing to give up their love for the betterment of their people and never see one another again. Serenity obliged, not wanting to see the creations she loved so deeply hurt each other, and so she put the unicorn kingdom and dragon kingdom on opposite sides of the land. The dragon queen refuses to let her people leave the kingdom, and the unicorn queen is doing the same, despite it limiting their worlds. This is how they guarantee their subjects' safety and happiness.
Serenity proceeded to create more and more villages and kingdoms with new species and people who reside within them. In each kingdom, she put a little bit of herself inside it, bestowing upon each kingdom's leader a magical artifact. She instructed them to keep it safe, and in turn, it will keep them safe. Serenity separated 7 fragments of herself into these artifacts. Something to retain and give the magic + life of the land and the species of that kingdom. Serenity then took the 8th fragment of her being and created a daughter, Lyra. Despite not personally owning any of her soul fragments, Serenity remained alive by the love of her people and her daughter. She continued on this way for centuries, until the present day. Little did Serenity know that her own existence depended on her people, much like their existence depended on her. So, when the artifact of the dragon kingdom was broken, Serenity disappeared.
This brings us to the start of the roleplay, where Princess Bell, daughter of the unicorn queen, must go on a quest to save Princess Serenity after her daughter Lyra asks for her help. She recruits the heirs of the throne for each kingdom, along with their magical artifact, so they can work together and hopefully bring home Princess Serenity and bring peace and harmony to all of the kingdoms, as it was always intended to be.

Mermaids keep to themselves!!! They haven’t really been involved with the surface world for a few decades now!!! They see the land creatures as barbaric and uncivilized. Essie is kind of a bitch, she’s very into herself and how she looks. She loves fashion, makeup & everything girly!!!!! And unlike most of the mermaid population, she does make contact with the surface every so often. Despite being mermaid royalty, Essie runs a small business selling seashell jewelry by the seashore, just for some extra gold here and there when her parents won't lend her any.

Princess of the fairies!!! Fairies are naturally stubborn and selfish!!!!! They can’t help it!! Which is how the conflict between the fairies and animal girls started.. Tippy is immortal and over 1000 years old!!! The fairies have lived in many, many places, but in the last 50 years, they’ve found comfort in the enchanted forest & for the past 50 years, there’s been a brewing conflict between the fairies and the animal girls!!! Tippy is obsessed with collecting shiny, colorful, glittery & flashy things. The animal girls think she’s bringing junk into their forest, but Tippy thinks they lack taste. She’s very much a free-spirited girl and does whatever she wants. (lesbian, enemies to lovers with Maisie)

She’s a little headstrong, which contributes to the conflict between her clan and the fairy village, as she believes her girls deserve the space more than the fairies!!! Loves nature, super in touch with the wilderness!!! (lesbian, enemies to lovers with Tippy)

Piper is something of a self-made princess!!! Despite not being actual royalty, her village treats her like their ruler. For the most part, she IS a princess!!!!! Her parents died when she was little, and she was raised by nice old lady Hazel in her bakery, where she learned everything she knows now!!! Other than being the most phenomenal patisserie in the land, Piper is an average & normal girl with a love for all things sweet and cute!!! (lesbian, has a crush on Lulu)

Lulu is the princess of the haunted forest!!! She lives in an extravagant haunted mansion all by herself!!! Lulu is a pastel goth-esque ghost girl who is very terribly shy!!!!! She loves her monster-girl subjects, but rarely ever leaves her mansion. She spends most of her time in the library reading her books!!! (has no idea that Piper likes her)

The dragon prince!!! He’s incredibly obnoxious, arrogant, and hard to like. He thinks he’s funny, but he isn’t. Kieran has a hobby of collecting swords and other weapons. Which is strange for a dragon who should be able to defend itself or defeat any enemy on its own!! The truth is, Kieran has yet to figure out how to shift into his dragon form. He’s a late bloomer, if you will. He overcompensates for this by acting the way he does and showing an abnormal amount of aggression, even for a dragon. You would think his mother is awful, but she’s actually super sweet and very supportive of him!!! Inspired by Sulfus from Angel’s Friends. ❤︎

The Cosmic Princess herself!!! Serenity is less of a princess and more of a goddess. She’s a mother to the world and essentially gave life to every living being on the planet. Her stardust emits from the sky and brings life. She had been alone for centuries, continuously selfless and giving, only ever really being able to watch her people and hope to guide them in the right direction, but one day she decided to commit her first selfish act. To have her very own child all to herself, something she had wanted all of her life. Her daughter was everything to her, her own creation. Little did Serenity know that her own existence depended on her people, much like their existence depended on her. So, when the artifact of the dragon kingdom was broken, Serenity disappeared.

Serenity’s daughter!!! When she woke up from a nap, she realized her mother was missing!!! She panicked and remembered what her mother told her: That if something should ever happen, then her people would be there to help her. So she made her way to the unicorn kingdom for help, a castle in the clouds, as it’s the closest to the stars. There, she meets Bell the Unicorn Princess and Lyra informs her of her mother's disappearance!!! She tells her the only way they can bring her back is to spread unity and peace throughout the land.
