The Prince of Amuray, a land where the rich thrive and the poor suffer. He hopes to overthrow his corrupt father in order to change the state of his kingdom.
Voice specs- (medium, early to mid 20s) calm, cold, sarcastic, but well-spoken. He’s a prince, and although he’s angry there’s a slight eloquence to his tone.
American accent, open to experiment with an English accent

*sigh* I’ve never done this… ‘verse of the day’ thing. I don’t know what message God wants you to hear, or myself for that matter. I guess I’ll start with the foundation of it all... John 3:16- for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
If you ask me, it doesn’t matter what situation you’re in. Everyone needs to hear that verse. *he scoffs* especially my dad. He’s the ruler of this wretched kingdom that I, along with an unfortunate amount of peasants call home.
I can’t wait to get a taste of this ‘everlasting life’, because this current one isn’t cutting it. But I have the Lord’s work to do in this world… and perhaps overthrowing my father is one of the many tasks he has for me.
A thief within the kingdom, notorious for his skillful getaways. He resorted to this lifestyle due to the state of the kingdom, thieving in order to provide for his family.
Voice specs- (medium, medium-alto, early to mid twenties) casually playful and almost mischievous
American accent
Verse of the day? Ha.. bet you guys are screaming ‘thou shall not steal’ at me. What do you expect me to do when my family is starving?? You think I wanna be a thief? I don’t got many options with a corrupt king like ours. And don’t get me started on that hoity-toity prince. You think he actually cares about us? Tch- he just wants the throne.
I can’t place my trust in any of these royals. I only got one ruler, and that’s God. Man will fail you, but he will not.
Actually, I think I do got a verse. Psalm 18:2. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. And it’s only by his grace I haven’t gotten caught and thrown in the dungeons yet— *he hears someone coming* And Lord, m’gonna need some of that grace now. Gotta go!
A pirate of one of the last existing crews within the region. He is the son of a well-known captain and hopes to follow in his footsteps.
Voice specs- (medium-alto, alto, early to mid 20s)
Open to American accent or English accent. If willing, do an example of both in your audition (one take with an American accent, and one take with an English accent).
Ahoy there. Verse of the day, huh? Well, each day is different. Some good, some bad. Today feels… well, I dunno. Let’s recap.
The king’s guards are after us cause they wanna completely cleanse the seas of pirates. They think we’re some kind of disease. That we needa be wiped out before we reach their kingdom… heh. Ain’t nothin to loot from that place. Their people are starving. Bless em. *he chuckles softly*
They won’t catch us. Our crew is the strongest across the seven seas, and I got the world’s best captain for a father. And most importantly, a mighty powerful God. I ain’t worried.
A new royal guard who has dedicated his entire life to achieving this job role, following in his father’s footsteps. However, certain aspects of the job frightens him, as they go against Christ’s teachings. He is a dedicated follower of Christ, and does his best to live by his word every day.
Voice specs- (high-medium, medium. Early to mid 20s) slightly nervous, passionate
Verse of the day? Right now?? But I’m on duty! There’s a criminal who stole five loaves of bread and he can’t just get away!
Ah— well, I suppose there’s nothing I can prioritize above the Lord. Right then, how about some *verses* of the day? Let me recite some from the book of Matthew, although I may be a bit biased… after all, my name is Matthew. *he chuckles*
*Theo’s voice is confident as he begins, but gradually his voice fills with guilt* Matthew 5:6-8. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled! Blessed are the merciful, for… they will be shown mercy… Blessed are the pure in heart… for they will see God… I… I think I will leave this chase to someone else… for if it’s in God’s will, the thief will be caught. But… who am I to carry out the punishment on this man?… *he sighs*
A friendly commoner who utilizes his music to get through the hardships of life, hoping to spread joy to others with his songs.
Voice specs- (medium, early to mid twenties) upbeat, optimistic, slight-Hispanic accent (think Manolo from Book of Life)
Talents who can sing are preferred!
- english
- spanish
Ah, bienvenidos my friends! Verse of the day you say? Aye, a verse of the day you will get!
Psalm 100! Come before him with joyful praise, and sing praises to his name! Sing to him songs of joy, and declare his wonderful deeds!
And don’t just praise when you’re glad, my friends, praise no matter the circumstance! Our Heavenly Father woke you up today for a reason. Get up and rejoice! Many people are upset about the state of our kingdom, so I hope my song reaches them! I hope it reached you too, amigos.
A dockworker for the kingdom, responsible for keeping the ships spick n span and ready to sail. He grew up working for the kingdom and is very passionate about his craft.
Voice specs- (high-medium, medium, early to mid twenties) very calm, he sounds almost sleepy-like. Passionate, peaceful
*tying a knot to secure a ship to the dock* Aaand there we go. Oh, hello. Yes yes yes, I’d love to give you a verse of the day.
Isaiah 41:10. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Have you ever heard a more comforting thing? Knowing our Heavenly Father is with us everywhere we go? Every day I work on this dock by myself, and yet I’m never truly alone am I? I have God, and well- that’s more than enough for me… but I’m grateful to have spent some time with you as well. You, me, and the Lord. Wow, how blessed am I.
The rumored sea creature lurking the waters surrounding the kingdom. He has features and abilities like that of a shark, trying to stay hidden from frightened civilians as to not get hunted down.
Voice specs- (medium, early to mid 20s) playful, mischievous
American accent
Looking for Asian/Pacific Islander talent for this role
a verse?? Jokes on you- I can’t even read! *he laughs* well, good thing I don’t gotta read something that’s written on my heart. Now let’s see…
Psalm 139:14. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I mean look at me. This is something I gotta remind myself every day to drown out the *now imitating a scared civilian* ‘aaah a sea monster! Oh it’s hideous! It must be a demon, I rebuke it in the name of Jesus!’ Like c’monnn, could a demon do this?? *clears throat* CHRIST IS LORD!
*he laughs* anyway, you’re all fearfully and wonderfully made. We all got a purpose through God’s will, and I’m tryna figure out what that is for myself.
Character description- June is the princess of Amuray. She has always been diligent in her duties, obeying her father’s rule despite its cruel, unfair nature. She wishes things were different, but is too afraid of her father to take a stand. It’s only until she finds strength and bravery in the Lord to seek a different path.
Voice specs- (medium, early twenties) curious, confident, stern when needed
Kai! What on earth do you think you’re doing?! Father is furious with you! Do you understand how much trouble you’re putting yourself in-?? *as Kai is ignoring her* Kai?? Kai!
I just can’t help but feel like my calling goes further than this. That God’s purpose for me is somehow more than becoming queen and ruling over this kingdom… How is that even possible? How do I go BEYOND that?
I’m the daughter of a King. More than one. But the one seated on a Holy throne is who I take refuge in.
Character description- Mariela is a commoner who works hard to produce the best quality of life under a state of poverty within the kingdom. She does so with great strength and perseverance, despite the difficulties thrown her way. She takes crap from no one, and will not hesitate to put someone in their place. She is in a relationship with Xavi, and often finds herself having to pull him out of trouble.
Voice specs- (medium, early twenties) confident, bold
Open to a slight Hispanic accent. Please do a take with the accent and one without.
Looking for Hispanic talent for this role.
“Xavi!” (Pronounced Hah-vee) “What the hell are you doing??”
*bickering with Princess June, who is attempting to set sail for the first time* “I don’t care if I never come back to this God-forsaken place! I’m going with you. I don’t exactly have the same skill-set as a princess but that’s where my strong suit is. After all, these sails aren’t going to hoist themselves.”
“Aw, mi amor, a song? You shouldn’t have… *her tone immediately shifts from sweet to furious* A song isn’t going to make up for a year of lies!”
Character description- Amayra is the princess on the Isle of the Forbidden, an island in which all pirates are stored away and imprisoned. She is an eccentric young woman with a strong sixth sense, in which she uses for witchcraft. Little does she know is that she is going to have an encounter with the Lord that will cut her ties with dark magic.
Voice specs- (medium, high-medium, early to mid twenties) passionate, feminine, but rather strange. Give her an eccentric twist, but not crazy.
No preferred accent.
Ah, there is a light in you. A light I don’t see often around these parts… I can feel it. This light is causing the darkness around us to tremble! I am frightened, yet… intrigued.
A man of God, are you? You know, Jesus approached sinners such as I. He came to heal us, to save us. Tell me, were you sent here for a divine purpose?
Matthew? Like the tax collector? *she chuckles, her tone becoming slightly flirtatious* The only thing you’re collecting is my affections, you ol’ scallywag.
Character description- Gabriella is the princess of Chalom- a thriving, peaceful land where war and conflict are rarely heard of. She is kind and compassionate, with a strong passion for ballet. She is widely known for her talent in dance, but more so for her beauty which she exhibits inside and out.
Voice specs- (medium, high medium) delicate, peaceful, calm
I must say, you pirates sure are a rowdy bunch. Much too rowdy for an environment such as this. But somehow I don’t sense a disturbance in my peace. Perhaps that means you are indeed from the Lord. And if that’s the case, I rejoice in your arrival. Come, brothers, allow me to introduce you to this wonderful land.
When I dance, I dance before the Lord. It is my form of praise. Dancing is a gift he has so generously bestowed upon me. I will never cease to praise, and will use my gift to glorify him. Would you like to dance with me?
Oh, yes. I’d love to join you on your ventures, but… *she yawns, becoming sleepy* perhaps I could take a nap first?

Open to experimenting with a slight Polynesian accent.
Polynesian/Pacific Islander talent preferred for this role.
I always thought the seas were God’s most beautiful creation. I couldn’t imagine anything more fascinating, more wondrous… but then you came along. He never ceases to amaze me.
This island belongs to my people! My people belong to God! Do you really want to challenge us??
*she laughs* You’re telling me you’ve never tried a mango before? This is like the staple food of our island! C’mon you gotta try it. Say ‘ahhh’.
Character description- Amelie is the youngest of four siblings, in which all are princesses. The first three are heavily idolized by the civilians, and practically viewed as goddesses. Amelie thinks that type of idolization is ridiculous and always felt out of place. She is uncomfortable with the attention, and the civilians paint her as ungrateful and the weakest link of the four.
Voice specs- (medium, medium alto, early twenties) sharp and witty, sarcastic, but can be slightly awkward. Think Veronica Sawyer.
Hey! So uh, I was thinking maybe we can have a Bible study. Y-ya know, for some sisterly bonding time. When two or more are gathered in his name, he’s there. Imagine the four of us, heh! What do you say?
Are you people seriously buying into this crap?? Am I crazy?? Why does nobody else see they’re being duped?! God, please help me out here!
Look, I’m not here to torment you. I’m not like my sisters. I’m here because, well… no one’s ever stood up to them before. They’ve always been my biggest bullies, so when you stood up to them, you stood up for *me*. I want to thank you.
Character description- Rosalie is considered the ‘leader’ of her sisters, being the eldest of the four and next in line to become queen. She thrives off the attention and praise she receives from civilians, using this popularity to do and say whatever she wants. Her actions would go as far as committing evil deeds, in which everyone but Amelie seems to be blind to. People often have a hard time seeing past her beauty, and she uses this to her advantage.
Voice specs- (medium, medium alto. Early to mid twenties) feminine, crude, alluring. a typical mean girl, but no valley girl accent.
Now why on earth would you bow down to someone? People should be bowing down to you. You’ve got it all mixed up, little sister. You’re a princess, not a servant. Know your place.
SHUT UP EVERLIE!
Ah, fresh meat. I’ve never seen him before. Tall, handsome, broad shoulders. Kinda like a prince. I’m intrigued… Girls, stand back. This one’s mine.
Character description- Everlie is the second eldest of her three sisters. She very much looks up to her sister Rosalie, and even takes after her when it comes to her attitude and entitlement. She has always been somewhat of a follower, but secretly she desires to be more than that.
Voice specs- (medium to high-medium, early twenties) feminine, crude. typical mean girl, but no valley girl accent.
Ugh, Amelie what are you wearing?? You’re going to a ball, not rotting away in a casket. Let your older sissy pick out a dress for you. Hmm… let’s see… *she opens up Amelie’s closet and gasps* Great Scott!! It’s horrible!
Sorry Rosalie!
Here we are! Your most precious, beloved princesses! Yes yes, you may bow.
Character description- Natalie is the second to youngest of her sisters, blindly following whatever Rosalie says without ever forming her own opinion. She comes off as a bit of an airhead, but internally struggles to figure out who she is and what her place is in the world.
Voice specs- (high-medium, early twenties) feminine, slightly ditzy, can have a SLIGHT valley girl accent. Think Gretchen Wieners.
It’s a shame, really. If you would just dress better and get a symmetrical haircut, we wouldn’t be so embarrassed to have you as a sister.
Rosalie, Everlie, Natalie, and Amelie… the three jewels of Noachia! (Pronounced No-ae-kee-uh) Yes I know I said three, but Amelie- you’re not a jewel. You’re like… I dunno, a rock.
Pirates?! *fearful shriek* Wait-… that one’s cute. What’s your name?
