An original psychological thriller by silksails
Set in Japan in 2056, Prototype Salvation follows Yui and Ren Tachibana, a young married couple and pair of private investigators, as they investigate the disappearance of a socially influential family's child.
Travelling from Hokkaido toward Osaka, the couple find themselves stranded near a remote, snowbound village in Aomori. When their train inexplicably disappears after they disembark, they follow a distant light into the mountains, hoping to find shelter. What awaits them is a seemingly ordinary community where something feels profoundly wrong.
As they investigate, the couple uncover disturbing secrets surrounding a mysterious biological threat and an organization pursuing its own vision of human salvation. The deeper they venture, the more they must question what they see, what they believe, and how much they can trust the world around them.
The game blends stylized, painterly visuals with psychological horror, environmental storytelling, investigative gameplay, and an intimate character-driven narrative. Its atmosphere balances the quiet beauty of a Japanese winter with an increasingly oppressive sense of dread. Rather than relying on constant jump scares, the experience emphasizes mystery, subtle environmental clues, unsettling encounters, and the slow erosion of certainty.
At its heart, Prototype Salvation is a story about two people trying to protect one another in a situation neither can fully understand. Their relationship is the emotional anchor of the experience, expressed through natural dialogue, familiar banter, quiet concern, and moments of vulnerability.
We're building Prototype Salvation as an independent, story-driven PC game under silksails, with an international team united by a love of atmospheric storytelling and distinctive artistic direction.
We're looking for voice actors who can bring believable human performances to this world performances that make its characters feel real, its quiet moments meaningful, and its darkest moments genuinely unsettling.

Yui is an observant, analytical, and perceptive private investigator. She notices inconsistencies others overlook and approaches unfamiliar situations with curiosity and rationality. However, beneath her composed exterior is a young woman whose vulnerability emerges through her relationship with her husband, Ren, and the increasingly disturbing events surrounding them.
We're looking for a performance that feels intelligent, natural, quietly expressive, and emotionally authentic. Yui shouldn't sound like a stereotypical horror protagonist. Her fear should emerge gradually, through hesitation, changes in breathing, and subtle shifts in composure. Her warmth should feel understated rather than overtly sentimental.

silksails is seeking a voice actor for Ren Tachibana, one of the two lead protagonists in Prototype Salvation (救済の試作体), a stylized psychological thriller set in Japan in 2056.
Ren is a grounded, resourceful private investigator and Yui's husband. Where Yui tends to dissect a situation analytically, Ren brings a practical, field-oriented perspective. He's attentive to his surroundings and focused on getting them both through whatever they encounter.
Ren isn't an invulnerable action hero. His strength comes from remaining functional under pressure, making difficult decisions, and looking after someone he loves even when he has no idea what comes next. His relationship with Yui should emerge through small changes in his voice, familiar banter, concern, and moments when his composure begins to crack.
We're looking for a performance that feels grounded, understated, reassuring without being invincible, and emotionally layered. Avoid exaggerated tough-guy delivery or constant dramatic intensity. The character's quieter moments matter just as much as his most frightening ones.
