Project SEKAI: Voice Oneself / Staff Casting
Project Overview
Voice Oneself is a fandub team that is dedicated on voicing and covering the story-based rhythm game Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage. Join our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/SUNm6zNRWk
This casting call is for staff members needed for our project. This is an unpaid, passion-driven project created purely for fun. We are looking for committed individuals, although we maintain a flexible schedule, we expect all team members to communicate responsibly. Disappearing without notice or repeatedly missing deadlines without requesting an extension is not acceptable.
We will be casting multiple people for each role. Casting announcements will be sent through Discord DMs, so please make sure to include your Discord handle when applying. If your Discord DMs are closed, I will send you a friend request instead, so please make sure to accept it. My Discord handle is Arusehwa.
REQUIREMENTS :
Must have Discord! Please include your Discord handle along with your audition, as all project communication, coordination, and work will be handled through Discord.
Must be 15+. Many of our staff members are adults, so we ask that applicants meet the minimum age requirement to ensure everyone feels comfortable working together. Any NSFW discussions or content are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban from the project.
Be committed! Please don’t ghost us after being cast or receiving an assignment. If you’re unable to commit or communicate with the team, please refrain from auditioning.
No AI auditions! We do not support or accept the use of generative AI for this project. Please submit your own original work.
Producer
Producers will oversee the overall production and coordinate staff, projects and schedules. A good understanding of Project SEKAI and its characters are required, because you will also be in charge of casting and for the overall direction of the projects. Please include your Discord handle.

Artist
Illustrators will create artwork and visual assets for the project, such as thumbnails, sprites, backgrounds and other project-related visuals. Knowledge of Project SEKAI is not required, but preferred! Please provide us with examples of your work, as well as your Discord handle.

Video Editor
Video editors will create and edit videos, such as MVs, skits, visual novel-style stories, and other project-related content. Please provide us with examples of your work, as well as your Discord handle.

Audio Engineer
You will be working on the vocals for our song covers, handling from timing and tuning to mixing and mastering. Let us know whether you'd prefer to focus on Time/Tune, Mix/Master, or both! Please provide us with examples of your work, as well as your Discord handle.

Writer
Translyricists will adapt Japanese lyrics into English while keeping the original meaning, flow, and syllable count in mind. This project will use our own English lyrics rather than another existing English translation. Please provide examples of your previous translyrics or lyric adaptations, as well as your Discord handle.

Vocal Guides will record our English lyrics as a vocal reference for the VAs, as well as create and record harmonies where needed. Please provide examples of your previous singing or vocal guide work.
