Project Luci

Welcome to Project Luci!

This is a comic/graphic novel i have been working on for a while.

The story follows our protagonist, "the wizard"
He is an ex-evil wizard who lives his days in his evil tower with his evil talking cat. Wishing to relive the days of his past, he sets out on another quest. Not one for treasure and conquering, but one to find friends.

This will be a comedy following the wizard try to learn how to make friends and even learn what friendship is. Through evil battlefield playdates, and scheme roulette at the local evil tavern.

Still he struggles to move on as he obsesses over his former companions whom no longer have time for him after moving away to conquer new lands.

The one "person" to stick to the wizard no matter what is his biting prone familiar, Lucifer, an astral tuxedo cat that speaks! Though from looking at their relationship, it is hard to tell who the master is. Luci (often called Luci, Goose, luci goosey, and lucille goosille when he is in trouble)

I would like to start with a short volume of 5 comics, with the pages being anywhere from 5ish pages per issue.
to start small and start a pitch for a kickstarter to fund the full series.

Project payment dependent on success, profit share for any comics worked on.

The project is currently looking for one to 2 artists that believe in the project and are willing to work pro-bono with back pay available upon successful kickstarter / Comic Profit.

This is a passion project and is the perfect opportunity for budding comic artists to help shape the world and characters while at the least putting another feather in your cap, and at best, bringing you continued paid work.

If you have any questions about the project please feel free to reach out.

I would love to turn this into a long term series, but i would like to start small.

at the moment only one artist is needed for conceptual work and first drafts.
eventually we may need another artist, or may split the drawing and coloring as many comics do.
we may eventually recruit a writer.
