With the completion of Season 1: Mabuhay, we are proceeding to continue the future of the AGON agents into Season 2 taking place in Nigeria.
Synopsis: Fei, Finn, and Riz arrive to Lagos to officiate Riz as part of AGON for his efforts in averting a terrorist attack on Cebu. However, a foul plot manifests in the country as multiple different factions have agendas that seek the ruin of Nigeria. The trio are tracked by a bounty hunter and the group will meet new people from Nigeria. It's a race against time to avoid a calamity on a large scale.
Season 2 will feature Nigerian characters as well as delve into elements that are unique to their folklore and history. It's a story that will further extend the premise that PG is not just a story restricted to one perspective but many international ones.
Fei - The main protagonist of Project Gnosis, she is a special breed of jiangshi, that functions more in line with the Japanese onryo. Inspired by Kayako of the Grudge and Sadako of the Ring, Fei can enter through portals through electronic equipment like TVs or computers. She can also phase through objects like a ghost and has the jiangshi's power of absorbing qi, or life-force. Despite these dark powers, she's a heroine that has very much a soft side to things. Played by Cassandra Boh @casswildcat.
Riz - The shapeshifting deuteragonist of Project Gnosis, Riz is a tikbalang vigilante, or a werehorse, from the Philippines. A fish out of water outside the country, he tries to adapt as he gets inducted into AGON. Riz is a mix between a Nightwing/Nightcrawler type in that he fights like Nightwing and teleports like Nightcrawler. Played by Nikko Abanilla (@nikko-abanilla).
Finn MacCool - The Finn MacCool of the Irish Fenian Cycle and the mentor to Fei, Finn has been her partner and done many missions over the last five years since Fei has been an agent. Fights with a magical spear that originated from the Tuatha De Danaan, Lugh Lamfhada. Played by Kevin Urban (@KurbzVO)
Yeo-Jin - An oni of Korean-Japanese descent, Yeo is a bounty hunter with a long history of getting into trouble with just about anyone. Has been a merc, a gladiatrix, a bartender, and a bunch of other odd jobs. Super strong and has latent pyromancy abilities, she's a force to be reckoned with. Played by Lynn (@LynnVA)
Solomon - An Igbo dibia from Abia State, Sol has lived in Nigeria all his life and has garnered a reputation for being among the most infamous shamans in Nigeria. Despite his young age, the Sol is an old soul and can see through many things. He calls upon the old magic to achieve his goals. Played by (TBD) Updates for whether this role be available will come in time.
Yazmin - an Arab AGON operative known for her expertise in programming, hacking, and robotics. A mission control for Fei and Finn, she has a reputation for being grouchy and ornery. Played by Coraline @coraline
Requirements:
- Since it deal with mature themes, this will be a +18 and up project. However, it will not be a NSFW type of project. But I prefer only 18 and up apply.
Casting will last for one month, and we guarantee no audition will close until the deadline for the casting call on CCC.
THIS IS A PAID PROJECT.
As planned, the main roles (which have been mostly been filled in previous season) will be given a flat rate for each contribution per chapter of which there are 12.
As for side or extra roles, that'll be done per 10 cents a word for the season as a whole, since we were able to calculate the total for each one. And it adds up big time. Some round up to the close tens digit. So most extra or side roles will be at least over 20$ or above through this season.
Payment will be received after lines are submitted and reviewed, preferably through PayPal. If you can't use PayPal in your country, talk to us about your circumstances and we will happy to accommodate.
Expect incoming updates about roles or any changes to the casting call should something come up.

Thank you so much for those that added to the auditions for Season 2. We have a few more days so more people can have a chance to submit their auditions. Before the deadline, I will reach out to some people I think are close to the role to let them know that they are the first choice but I will give them time to ask questions to before a final decision is made. Even if you didn't get the role, you will hear from me to inform you directly about potential opportunities in the future.
Thank you all so much for auditioning so far. We have a lot of promising additions to the call. So far a lot of roles have been auditioned more than others. We would like to see more VAs who know Mandarin try to audition for the Chinese characters as well as the Dokkaebi and Sea People even if the roles are small in comparison.

Tiwa is a Yoruba vigilante and confidant of Solomon, who has kept bounty hunters out of Nigeria and has hunted criminals, terrorists, and corrupt politicians who victimize the Nigerian people. She acts more in line as an assassin though not for pay. Her voice is deep, deadpan, and assertive. She's Yoruba by ethnicity, which may be required for a Nigerian, especially with a Yoruba accent to apply for this role. You can refer to Amanra from Age of Mythology to know that's a good reference for the role.

AIs created by Yazmin, the AGON programmer and roboticist, they serve as analysts for any data that needs to be interpreted and investigated for Yazmin's department. As AI, their mannerisms are neutral and robotic with a hint of personality akin to how CASE and TARS behaved in Nolan's Interstellar. Not Rhazes speaks a bit deeper, while Avicenna speaks slightly higher pitch.

Z-2000 also known by her peers as Zetsuna. She is an AI usually inhabiting the body of an android. Handler to the Huntress, Yeo-Jin, she is impartial, formal, straight to the point, with elements of depth and nuance despite her monotone delivery. Note this role is also part of a spinoff series called Diary of An Oni Huntress which will open opportunities to those that get Zetsuna's role.

There are a bunch of minor side or extra roles in Wazobia that requires British accents. Here are the list of roles for all British characters: News Anchor, Radio Anchor, Niles Trevelyan, Bartholomew Tanner, Security Guards Baker and Roger, and British Land and Air Command. All newscaster roles are professional and clear. Military would be curt and to the point. It's required that some roles be distinct from each other, so range is a plus for this. The first line is for military and security, second line is for newcasters. Last line is for high corporate officials.

Like the British Roles, there are side and extra roles for Nigerians in the story. Most accents in the season would be Lagosian in origin. The list includes George Oladayo, Radio Anchor, Benin Diamond Manager, Guard, AGON Guard, and Abuja Representative. More than one person can potentially be accepted in these roles. English Pidgin may be used.

Sea People/Fomorians are fishmen from the deepest parts of the oceans where they create their societies. Cearnach and Kellen are featured as emissaries. They speak in a guttural voice that is almost akin to something wet. Cearnach is the first line who is more diplomatic. Kellen is more aggressive and has the second and third lines. Make sure you keep them distinct.
