What is this project?
This project is something of mine that I've been working on for the past 8 years. It has a tremendous amount of work that I've put into it. It's quite literally my child. It's an original anime that follows a group of individuals called 'Enhancers'. The story explores both the external and internal conflicts they face, meeting a plethora of other characters as they do. Beneath the spectacle of it all, the show presents a theme to the audience: It's not about what you are. It's about who you are. Topics such as civil rights, social justice, various traumas and intense PTSD are touched upon. That being said, this is very much an 18+ project. Additionally, there are extreme moments of violence, great amounts of explicit language and sexually challenging scenes.
What am I looking for?
I'm looking for artists of all trades to be a part of this project! Right now, I'm casting specifically for the first episode in the series. I would like to get more done, as there are so many other important characters that get introduced later on. But, that all comes down to resources at the end of the day. I will respond to everyone's submissions! So if you would like feedback, let me know. If you don't, make that known.
How will this look?
Ideally, I'd want this project animated. But, being that I'm a broke college student and cannot draw or animate for the life of me, that might have to be put on hold for now. I'd be willing to hire animators, but my next worry would be payments. I want to supply everyone with some sort of stipend that rewards them for their incredible work. Like I previously mentioned, money is extremely tight on my end. So, the next best thing that I could think of, would be some sort of a visual art/comic interpretation. I'd still need artists, but not a full-on animator. However, if that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else would. This story would be difficult to translate with all the stage directions and fight choreography. However, I'm open for interpretation and ideas.

Physical Description: 5'11, lanky and feminine looking. If the wind were blowing, Michaels would be taken with it. He has beautiful white hair that reaches the back of his legs.

Pronunciation: Mai-klz
The Headmaster of one of the Enhancer Academies in Japan, Michaels is an enigma. He can be goofy and man-childish in one moment, and switch to being serious and down-to-earth in another, all in the same scene. This shouldn't mean that they're two different personalities. His transitions between moods are just that smooth. He should be loveable, charming, and childish. He genuinely cares for his students.

Physical Description: 6'6. Hex wears a large body of armor. Beneath it, lies only darkness. Hex has no physical body. Only a dark mist that embodies the armor. Two glowing red orbs act as his eyes. We never see his face.
Race: Demon
Dark, deep and brooding, Hex is the King of Demons. He rules with an iron fist, and is hell-bent on taking his vengeance against the surface world. Even though he is partially in the first episode, he remains a prominent character throughout the entirety of the series. His voice should shake the ground, as he is the true definition of despair. He is extremely cocky and arrogant, due to his powers being as great as they are.

Physical Description: 6'0. Skitzo is lean with an unsettling demeanor. His posture is perfect.
Race: Demon
Skitzo is Hex's son, and acts as his main Demon lackey in his dark endeavors. Skitzo is unpredictable. He should be absolutely terrifying. His voice creeps down the spines of those who hear it. He can manipulate reality itself. He's very playful and coy. He likes to prey on the weak-minded, as it gives him free entertainment. Play with variation of his voice. He loves chaos and doesn't follow any guidelines of how to accomplish things.

Physical Description: 6'0. Kufuri looks like a badass-slight facial hair with a militaristic build and a man-bun. He's the kind of guy you wouldn't want to mess with.
Pronunciation: Koo-Foo-Ri
Race: Enhancer
General Kufuri is the mentor of the series. He's a soldier turned advisor, wise and full of experience. His voice has depth and gravel that hides past traumas. He's calm, composed and head-strong. Though, his emotions tend to get the best of him, causing him to make several mistakes and miss vital conflicts. Despite this, he has incredible emotional strength. He's the kind of individual who promotes "tough love".

Physical Description: 6'0. Wade is very much a bruiser. He enjoys picking on those beneath him, and he knows he can get away with it.
Race: Enhancer
Wade is the older brother to Gimmy Dew. He always holds authority over his younger brother. He's less hot-headed than his brother, but his cockyness and arrognace makes up for that. He's a grade-A bully who doesn't take anyone's shit. He's a scumbag, and he knows it. He loves it.

Gimmy is hot-headed, impulsive and reckless. He doesn't care who gets in his way. He'll get what he wants, when he wants, regardless of the repercussions. He has no awareness of morals or basic humanity. The only thing he cares about is showing off how strong he is to try and one-up his brother. His ego is constantly showing.

Lucy is the bigger sister to another character. Because of this, she's always caring for her younger sibling while trying to avoid their abusive parents. Lucy has a level of maturity that most individuals don't develop until their late twenties. She stands up for what she believes in, and wears her heart on her sleeve.
