FAQs -
1. will this project include singing/covers?
yes. we’re hoping to get singing voices for each character in order to post english covers, which we’re also hoping to write our own lyrics for. you can audition for speaking roles, or singing roles, or both depending on what you’re comfortable with
2. will there be double casting?
we’d prefer to have different people per each role, but if we see someone who fits into two roles, or a speaking role for one character and a singing role for another, then we may double cast :)
3. will these be rolling auditions?
for editors and lyricists, yes. for voice actors and singers, no. since there are only a certain number of lead characters who can be voiced, we want to allow enough time for many people to get their auditions in so we can hear everyones voices properly, so we will have a specific deadline before we cast. however, there’s no set number of how many editors or lyricists we need, so there’s no deadline for their applications
4. will there be voice actors for the vocaloids?
at the moment, we’re aiming to get people to tune vocaloids if they have the resources to do so, but if there aren’t enough people on board with it then we may open virtual singer auditions :)
Thank you and we hope you consider joining and supporting this project!

Saki Tenma, is the keyboardist of Leo/need. Saki is known for her bubbly demeanour and her strive to enjoy life, but behind that determination, she feels like she missed out on her youth due to the illness that she has. "I didn't get to enjoy school life with everyone in junior high because I had to be hospitalized for a really long time, but... [tone shift] You can bet I'll be making up for all that lost time by enjoying my high school and band life to the fullest!"
(Trying to reassure them, but dishonestly) “Whaaat, really? Haha, no need to worry. I stayed up late thinking about stuff, that's why.”
“(Slow and melancholic) I really wanted to find something that would bring the four of us together again, you know.”
Honami Mochizuki, is the drummer of Leo/need. With a gentle and caring personality, Honami tries to show kindness to everyone, being there for anyone she can. However, due to her nature of putting other's needs before her own, she struggles to communicate her honest thoughts and feelings, as she worries about people's opinions of her, which can cause her to get emotional rather easily. Yet, she uses this mindset to often show gratitude to her friends and be as supportive of them as she can.

Shiho Hinomori, is the bassist of Leo/need. People often see her coming off as cold, abrasive or mean, often spreading rumours about her, as she is rather straightforward and blunt. Shiho doesn't let it bother her, as she immerses herself in her hobbies and doesn't care what other people think of her. However, she does care for her childhood friends deeply and takes her music very seriously.

Haruka Kiritani, was once a part of the famous idol group ASRUN. She retired and joined high school as a regular student after a falling-out with one of their members, yet Haruka deeply loves being an idol, and is strongly motivated by delivering hope to her fans. She is very charismatic, however, after she quit, she became more melancholic, inspiring Minori to reach her the way Haruka had done through her words and performances years before. Haruka is a strict and dedicated person, and due to this diligent nature, she has difficulty relaxing and giving herself a break. She is composed yet bold, unafraid to talk back and tease her friends.

Airi Momoi, used to be a member of the idol group QT, and she appeared on many variety shows due to her popularity. However, her agency pressured her to stop being an idol and to become a TV personality instead, which she declined, causing her to leave the group. She is bitter about how the industries she went to tried to use her as a TV personality instead of seeing her potential as an idol. Airi can seem rather pushy at times, with her strong-minded nature, but she is a reliable person to her friends. Though she may come off as brash, Airi cares greatly for the people she

"By giving everything we've got to our role, we're able to pass one those feelings of working hard for tomorrow to our fans. That's why it's important for idols to have heart. It's not about looks, or talent. It's about having a positive spirit. One that gives hope to everyone around them."
Shizuku hinomori, is a former member of the idol group Cheerful*Days. She is best known among the fans for her beautiful, mysterious, and mature appearance, with a kind and older sisterly personality to match. She worries a lot about disappointing her fans, feeling she must maintain a "perfect" image, but during MMJ's event stories, she is working on trying to show her authentic self more while she grows as an idol. While she may appear very calm and poised, she can be a little ditzy and airheaded, some of her quirks being bad with technology and often being forgetful and bad with directions.

(looking back on how she got into rap music) "It was a lot more intense than the songs we learned in school, and the lyrics were pretty rough as well. I was surprised and a little bit scared. But, for some reason, I was captivated by it."
(finding her resolve, confidently) "I want to organise a great event with An that will give everyone the best experience of their lives! So, I won't run away anymore!"
An Shiraishi, is the charismatic daughter of the famous musician KEN, who owns a live cafe known as Weekend Garage. Her father was one of the performers in RAD WEEKEND, and said that it was due to the other performers that he was able to put on that event, which is what inspired An to search for a mutually dedicated partner to sing with. An is a cool and candid girl with an unyielding spirit, who has been surrounded by music ever since she was young. She acts very affectionate towards her close friends, like her partner Kohane, and is very kind and forgiving. She leaves a strong impression on others and is hard to forget.

(about her father, passionately) "His greatest achievement as a musician was... the legendary RAD WEEKEND event! ... I can still remember how exciting it was! That's exactly why my dream is to hold an event that will surpass the legendary RAD WEEKEND!"
(Comforting, at their first performance) "Don't worry, Kohane. I'm right here with you. Today is the day we take our first step towards surpassing RAD WEEKEND!"
(teasing, lightheartedly) "Oh? That was easier than I expected. Could it be you're actually more honest than I thought?"
Akito Shinonome, was also inspired by Ken to surpass RAD WEEKEND, performing street music alongside Toya for years. He appears to be rather laidback and easygoing, often putting up a facade of politeness and charm when meeting someone new. However, around people he's familiar with, he drops this act, showing the rougher edges to his personality. When music is involved, he becomes hot-blooded and passionate to the point where people can find him scary. He respects anyone who is passionate about their interest and hates people who don't take their dream seriously. Although he can be abrasive, he is a dependable and caring person.

(blunt, slightly annoyed) "You think it's gross that I'm being so polite? Feel grossed out then. I don't care."
"I've only made it this far because you were with me! The only reason I was able to chase my dream of surpassing RAD WEEKEND was because you were there to listen to me! I don't waver because I know you believe in me!"
Toya Aoyagi, unlike his teammates, has an extensive background in classical music due to his father being an experienced musician. His father taught him the piano and violin, isolating him and forcing Toya to study classical music for hours on end, causing him to resent his father and classical music in itself. Originally, he began performing street music to rebel as it was the genre of music that went against his family the most. However, after meeting Akito, he begins to take street music more seriously after seeing Akito's passion to surpass RAD WEEKEND. Toya is sometimes mistaken as being cold, due to his deadpan expression and his tendency to misphrase his statements, but despite his stoic demeanor, he is kind and quick to help others.

“I’m Toya Aoyagi from vivid bad squad." … “What else am a supposed to talk about?”
“When I was small, my dad taught me how to play piano and the violin" (pause, dejected) "...I haven’t touched either instrument since entering junior high…”
(dejected, hopeless, inner monologue) "I'm nothing like him... Akito, I'm the one with weak resolve. I...shouldn't be the one up there with you."
Tsukasa Tenma, is a very confident and charismatic person with a notable habit of showing off, and at the beginning of the main story he is fuelled by the idea of people being impressed by him. But behind this ego-centric persona he displays, he is shown to be a caring older brother. Tsukasa has always been close with his younger sister, Saki, so when he was amazed by a famous show performed as a kid, seeing how brightly she smiled at the show was what started his aspiration to become a star performer that could make everyone smile the same way she had that day. Motivated by his dream, he is hardworking, responsible and reliable, making him a great leader.

"Tsukasa, written as ruler of the world! Tenma, written as soaring pegasus! The grandest name, the world future star, Tsukasa Tenma!"
(nostalgic, looking back on his past) "Saki missed school a lot because of her poor health, so I was always thinking of ways to cheer her up. But there was little I could do at that tender age." (pause) "One day, our parents took us to a show. I'll never forget what happened that day."
Emu Otori, aspires to make others smile the same way her grandfather did: through shows. Despite being very cheerful and innocent, her demeanour tones down in the presence of her brothers and father, due to their disagreeing ideals. You wouldn't expect Emu to be the daughter of the CEO of Phoenix Wonderland, but because of this, her family prioritises money and economic benefits instead of prioritising the happiness of all visitors like she does. Instead of being discouraged by this, however, she tries to always have a smile on her face, coining her own catchphrase "wonderhoy!" to try and motivate herself and others around her. She can come off as childish and impulsive, but inside she is really sweet and grateful for the troupe.

"won, won... wonderhoy! ☆ let's fill the entire Phoenix Wonderland with guests who are here to see our show!"
(after a failed show; masking feeling upset with false positivity, almost nervous) "That's why... I want to try again! Next time everything will go just fine!" (after being shut down/brushed off, dejected, hurt) "Didn't you like being in the show?" ... "what now..? no one is smiling anymore..."
Nene Kusanagi, is rather timid upon first meeting her, but once someone is close to her, her friends know her as rather blunt and sharp-tongued. Despite how she speaks, she is shown to really care for her friends. Initially, at the start of the main story, she does not appear onstage and performs through Nenerobo, which Rui made for her. This is because of an incident that happened onstage in junior high, leaving her with social anxiety and stage fright. However, throughout the main story, she is encouraged by her other troupe members to stand onstage once again.

(upset at herself) "Why am I like this..." (depressed, embarrassed) "I'm so ashamed that I was too scared to perform in front of people, and made RoboNene do it all for me, only to ruin the play in the end..."
Rui Kamishiro, is both an actor and stage director for WXS, scouted by Tsukasa after he saw Rui performing a solo show with the aid of drones he invented. He is known for having eccentric ideas for each performance and living by his own rules with an obsessive curiosity, which caused his classmates in elementary school to dislike or isolate themselves from him, leading to him performing on his own. Despite his independence, he has the desire to perform with other people again, and he's granted the opportunity by being invited to join Wonderlands x Showtime. He is a teasing and playful person towards his troupe, but he cares a lot for them as well.

Kanade Yoisaki, alias "K", has always had a close relationship with music. As her father is a composer, making a music box that brought hope to her mother when she fell ill, Kanade decided she wanted to make music that gently touched people's hearts the way her father had. However, he overworked himself to the point of hospitalization, which consumes Kanade with guilt. This guilt fuels her with a motivation to "save people," stating that she has to keep composing, to the point where she struggles to take care of herself and skips sleep until she passes out at her desk. Despite her persistence, she is not cold, but instead accepting and sympathetic towards her fellow circle members. Her music is noted to "have a certain warmth to it." She is the composer for N25.

I wanted to become like my dad, writing songs that would make people feel happy, but..." the scene flashbacks to Kanade when her father was hospitalised (guilty, tearful) "My songs hurt him. It was my fault..."
Mafuyu Asahina, alias "Yuki", is the lyricist for N25. In real life, Mafuyu is an honor student, being her class representative and earning straight-A's. Due to her skill in both academics and sports, people often set high expectations of her to be perfect in order to be "good enough." She tries not to show the effect of the pressure of those around her, instead conforming to what they want. Yet, she is burning out, and she disappears into the Empty sekai for a while after remarking her desire to "give up." Due to her people-pleasing instincts, she has forgotten everything she used to enjoy, and lost her sense of self-identity. She also has trouble recognising her own emotions because of this, but she finds in the N25 main story that her true feelings are finding herself again. She wears a mask of humility and sincerity to those she isn't close with, including her parents, and she is known for being polite and soft-spoken. However, to the other members of N25, she drops this mask, instead being dispassionate, largely lacking in emotion and empathy, being much colder. Her voice is very versatile and her tone fluctuates between different people to show this change in demeanour.

**With her polite, nice facade* (curious) "I seem used to giving speeches?" (dismissive, almost lighthearted) "Heh... I'm an honour student, after all."
**Dropped the facade, she sounds empty and absorbed in her own world* The other N25 members have just told her she's acting strange (Coldly) "Strange? If I'm strange, then so are all of you. Be honest, K, Enanan, Amia... you all want to disappear more than anyone."
Ena Shinonome, alias "Enanan", is the illustrator of N25. An aspiring artist, Ena is resilient, but rather quick-tempered and very sensitive to criticism. As her passion and artistic ability has been overlooked her entire life, particularly by her father who is a famous painter, she places a lot of pressure on herself to make her art perfect, being harsh on herself when it isn't. Because of her inferiority, she becomes envious of those who are deemed talented, and bitter when she sees them throw their talent away. Due to her strained relationship with her family, Ena has a thirst for praise, causing her to turn to social media where she would post selfies of herself and gain likes. She finds the attention comforting to her, the compliments she receives being almost a safety blanket for her. However, she notes that she wish she got the same attention on her art account instead. So, when Kanade saw Ena's art based on her songs and invited her to join N25, who was she to say no when she finally felt recognised?

Mizuki Akiyama, alias "Amia", is the video producer and animator of N25. They notably like fashion and are seemingly obsessed with anything cute. Mizuki is rather playful, occasionally teasing other members such as Ena, and they have a rather carefree, energetic and sometimes childish demeanour. However, behind this, they hide their past of not being accepted by other people. From middle school onwards, Mizuki is treated as an outcast for dressing and acting oddly, causing them to skip class often. Their response to the criticism is simply that they don't see anything wrong with dressing how they like, and they express that they just want to be themself. This is a big secret they keep from the rest of the group, as from their perspective, everyone has things they want to keep hidden. But they don't take this secret lightly, as perhaps their bigger fear is that their close friends will give them the same criticism their classmates do. Maybe it's nicer for things to stay the way they are, even if that comes at the expense of keeping their identity from their friends.
