Introduction
With over 6 years of experience as an animator, and having completed one animated web series "Kirby Your Enthusiasm", I'm now beginning work on a wholly original story. Animalia is a story about humanity's interconnectedness with nature, and their inseparability from it. It's about squaring off against human-born oppression and getting back in touch with what matters most. It's also about... Green raccoon girls drop-kicking edgy black rabbits in the face? Ok...
Basic premise
Mutant anthropomorphic animals called Animalians, are transforming their feral counterparts into more of their own, but some animals would rather live freely in the wild, than in a brutal dystopian dictatorship. Join Moss and her pack as they protect feral life from an evil supremacist empire and uncover a dark conspiracy that threatens the very foundations of the earth and life itself.

What is expected
Work Should take about 2 hours in total, at the longest. However, depending on how busy everyone is, the amount of time per-day you get to work could alter the length. Not to mention, it's common to re-record lines. The deadline will be one week after each member joins the team. You'll have to sign an NDA, and join the official discord server to work.
Payment
You will be paid immediately after completing your work. You won't have to wait for the pilot to release for payment. PayPal is most convenient.
Content warning
Technically, it's not that bad. However, there is some gore, and violence, and psychological horror. Some of the language is foul in nature. There is not a high concentration of potty mouths in the pilot, but this is a show which may feature some content that might not be appropriate for all ages.
This was the most successful casting call I have ever done. Thank you all for the immense support. Suffice to say I'm going to have to take a whole week to decide who gets to voice who. Whoever is selected as the Singing voice for Bisc' please be aware, it might take a while before we call on you for that role. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.
An uncharacteristically green racoon. (does anyone know why she’s this color?) She has a heart of gold and is deeply empathetic to all living beings. However, she can be quite naïve and always sees the good in everything to a fault. She’s in love with her best friend Sheauga. They make an inseparable pair. She’s a true raccoon at heart, not a human, so she’s quite the “gremlin.” While she doesn’t want to hurt anyone, even to sustain herself. Like many of the other main characters, she is forced to hunt to survive, but she ultimately does so indiscriminately and will always ensure it’s “fair.” Since she refuses to discriminate, she’s even willing to eat people too, if she must. She probably would’ve even gone vegan if she was a human, and if they weren’t forced to live off the land.
She speaks in broken English, and her voice is very "creature like" at times. You must also be able to do creature voices for her while she is a normal raccoon.

A normal racoon-turned unwitting humanoid. She’s pessimistic, realistic, and someone who tries to ground Moss’s unrelenting optimism. It’s hard for her to cope with the situation they’re in. She’s also a bit of a “hopeless romantic type.” She seems unsentimental most of the time, but she cares a great deal. (Especially about Moss)

He’s a dog, and a former domesticator for the animal kingdom. He tried to wipe away his doggy nature due to past trauma, but once he learned to let himself be a dog again, he discovers he is happier that way. He joins Moss, and Sheauga on their journey to defeat the animal queen.

Consider that he will need to be able to sing a moody song. If you already submitted an audition as Bisc' and can also sing, then I HIGHLY recommend you submit to be his singing voice too.

Razzberry Lemonade (Or just "Razz") is a punk squirrel with a GUN. Who was able to protect her older brother from being super domesticated by the animal kingdom, but she lost her original form. Super domestication also seals away the knowledge animals had in their old lives, preventing them from being able to return to their original lifestyle. She also leaned a bit more into her “human side” and used her human abilities to help other animals, even at the cost of her own comfort. It also made it hard for her to communicate with her brother, but through it all, he has been her anchor to her true self and helped her not completely lose herself to her transformation.She respects her brother’s non-human nature by not referring to him by a human name (she just calls him “Big bro” since he’s older than her) She was able to flee the animal empire and keep her brother safe. Now, she helps other mutant plants and animals rediscover themselves and choose the lifestyle that they truly want.

A Botanical hybrid, based on a confluence of different things, but primarily sprung forth from a super-domesticated snapdragon. They were bred for their ornamental value. They consider their former life as a normal plant to be better off. They are often asked, “why would you want to go back?” They’d say: “Plant’s lead a rich inner life and are more complex beings then most people are aware of.”
Having not been an animal at all before their transformation, they have come to find this new life even more dysphoric and unpleasant. It’s kind of strange to think about.

Not to be confused with "Pawbert" from Zootopia. He's the mascot for the fascist, dystopian, dictatorship known as Animalia. He's also a silly little fella. Essentially, he's cheerful and sarcastic, even if he exists purely to spread Animalian propaganda.

Mal is a blue-collar industrial farm employee. He has faced discrimination all his life for originally being livestock before he was super-domesticated and turned into an animalian citizen. He was pressured into taking a job like this. Being forced to slaughter his own kin for the empire just to prove he's better than livestock, has taken a brutal toll on his mental health.
His voice claim is: "General Chungus" from "The Minecraft Movie"

Frisk is a blue-collar industrial farm employee. He's patriotic, and fiercely loyal to the empire. He was born as a mutant-anthropomorphic animal (Animalian) so he doesn't feel a need to sympathize with animalians who were born as normal animals. He looks down on them, and takes it personally when they break rank, or talk of the empire's flaws.
His voice claim is "Satan" from "Helluva boss", or "Amaroq" from "No evil"

Gosha is a blue-collar industrial farm worker, and older sister to Mal. Like Mal, she faced discrimination for being born as livestock before she was turned into an Animalian citizen, but unlike Mal, she was fully indoctrinated by the Animalian empire. She took their oppressor's side, and started bullying Mal. Whenever she bullies him, she gets clout for it. She has feelings for Frisk, one of her coworkers.
Her voice claim is "Retsuko's mother" from "Aggretsuko"

She's a Poodle, and former microbiologist who worked in Animalia. Now, she's working with the resistance to put a stop to Animalia's evil plans. She has a mature, and direct attitude with just a little sense of humor.

Ralph is a side character. He's for comic relief. He has a bit of a pompous and aggressive attitude, and tone in his voice. Strong "douchebag" energy, but he's not so bad really...

Any kind of tough guy voice would be fine.

There are a number of background characters who are citizens of animalia. (Some of them get murdered) Just so long as you can do multiple voices and got a good range, you're good to do whatever.
You'll also need to voice Martha, a cowardly old woman who tried to murder a puppy. Do you have a range that can stratal "nice" and "cruel"? Victim, and abuser? Then maybe this role is for you!

There are some evil humans in this pilot. Some of them are male, that's what this role is. Pretty self-explanatory. One of them tries to stab a puppy to death, and he probably enjoys making babies cry. But they are all driven by fear and cowardice. You can try to mix and match what voices you think best fit these roles. Just so long as you can do multiple voices, you're good!
