Production Crew Needed - Join an Award-Winning Audio Drama Group!

Production Crew Needed - Join an Award-Winning Audio Drama Group!

Project Overview

We’re an independent audio drama production group dedicated to creating immersive, character-driven storytelling that combines cinematic sound design with emotionally resonant writing.

Our flagship series, Once Upon a Wasteland, attained more than half a million downloads and has earned multiple awards & critical acclaim for its performances, production quality, and storytelling depth, and we’re continuing to expand with new projects that push the boundaries of audio fiction.

I wore all of the hats in this casting call myself for Once Upon a Wasteland, and while the results were outstanding, it is not a sustainable model moving forward. To ameliorate that, we’re now building out our core production team to help manage and grow our creative operations behind the scenes.

If you’re passionate about storytelling and collaboration, whether your strengths are in marketing, web management, casting, or script coordination, we’d love to have you join us and help shape the next chapter of our work.

What You’ll Get
  • Credit on all productions you contribute to, including IMDb credit

  • The opportunity to influence multiple projects within a growing audio-drama studio

  • Direct collaboration with experienced writers, directors, and producers

  • A creative environment that values your perspective, ideas, and passion for storytelling

Role assigned to: Chiggunbox

Our stories balance grounded character work with rich world-building and cinematic sound, and as our slate of productions grows, we’re looking for a Creative Consultant to help shape big-picture story direction and ensure narrative consistency.

This is not a writing role — instead, you’ll act as a creative sounding board and narrative strategist, helping guide story arcs, themes, and continuity in collaboration with the head writer and producers.

A working copy of Final Draft is preferred for this role but not having it is not a show-stopper.

This role will help determine our group's next audio drama project, so you'll be able to make a big difference right away!

Responsibilities
  • Provide feedback on season arcs, outlines, and key story developments

  • Collaborate with writers and producers to maintain tone, continuity, and character integrity

  • Contribute ideas for future stories, themes, and emotional through-lines

  • Offer perspective on world-building, pacing, and narrative structure

  • Participate in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions

Ideal Candidate
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and character development

  • Experience with narrative media (film, TV, games, or audio dramas preferred)

Ideal Candidate
  • Strong sense of musical storytelling (how tone and rhythm support emotion)

  • Familiarity with royalty-free and licensed music libraries

  • Experience in music supervision, film/TV/audio drama scoring, or audio post-production

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Collaborative and communicative, able to balance creative and logistical needs
