A musical theater based acting class and audition masterclass

An intro class on the basics of cinematography, film analysis, script analysis, and more. I also went on a study abroad to England in 2022 with the professor of this class where we learned about Theater and Film in the UK. 

An intro course on acting at a collegiate level. 

An intro level course in accent work, IPA, vocal placement, and voiceover work. 

A class primarily geared towards analysis of theater scripts, but the knowledge has provided me with a lot of skills that I use to analyze film and voiceover scripts. 

A lecture-based class where we learned the basic ins and outs of the entertainment industry. 

An acting class more focused on the Stanislavsky and Chekhov styles of acting. 

A group-based workshop style class where we learned songs of different genres/ eras of musical theater and performed solo, in duets, and groups. 

An acting class dedicated to Shakespeare. This class later helped me get a summer job with the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival as the Assistant Director for their 2025 production of "Macbeth" 

An intro course to directing for stage. The skills I learned in this class really helped me when I made my directing debut two years later as the director for a production I pitched to my college called "Sex" written by Mae West.

My professional portfolio class where we went more into detail about our CAPSTONE project for our degrees, and how to create a portfolio as an actor. 

Senior private voice lessons

A continuation of our musical theater acting class--we also learned skills to be a swing and learn multiple tracks in a show. 

Our CAPSTONE class where we wrote and performed ten minute shows. 

An intro course in yoga, pilates, and aerobic style movement. 

An intro course in American Jazz Dance and its origins and the second installment of the course 

An intro course on stage makeup and SFX makeup. 

A rotating class where we learned the basics of audio and sound production, lighting, scenic design, costume conceptualization, and other stagecraft skills. 

Different genres of American creative writing

A class on the literature across genres in Europe and the U.S. 

A more lecture based approach to other elements of stagecraft and design. 

Intro to ballroom and social dance 

Short fiction writing class. Led me to my first narrative publication.

For my internship, I played my first professional theater role as Morticia Addams in "The Addams Family" at IMPAC Conservatory in Cedar City, Utah. This was my favorite show I've ever done and it was such a joyful experience. 

How to write long-form works, i.e. novels, novellas, series, and more. 

Beginner tap courses (tap is my absolute favorite)

My favorite dance classes I've ever taken. How to sing and dance for five minutes at the same time, learn choreography quickly and effectively, and add character to your movement.

A melting pot of cultural appreciation through dance, as well as learning of the origins of different cultural dances. 

I won a free spot in this class and learned from renowned voice actor Melissa Moats, and even got to read for her! 

I am part of a community of voice actors from all over learning from Tara Strong and her colleagues!

The wonderful three-time nominated and two-time Emmy winner Sam Riegel led a seminar about audition tactics that he's found value in as a casting director and an actor!
