[Power Rangers New Gen]
Project Overview
Power Rangers New Gen is a fan-made Minecraft (Java) Power Rangers Roleplay series that is planned to be long term.
We are currently hosting auditions for many roles.
(Please do not be disheartened if the deadline says auditions are closed as we will be needing a lot of people to make this project work.)
Currently, these roles are unpaid.
(May change to deferred, depending on how successful the project is)
People from all walks of life can apply
(We unfortunately do include British people)
(HEY! WTF!)
We are operating online.
Please Note:
While this is on a different account, this is the same project as the one linked below
https://www.castingcall.club/projects/power-ranger
Power Rangers New Gen is still in early development, so do expect things to change and take time
Power Rangers New Gen is also most likely to use the Essentials mod
General Requirements:
A Discord Account
A Minecraft Account (Not necessary but preferred)
Able to speak English (Not necessary but preferred for editors)
Applications can be done in any legible format.
As this is a fan project, we are not expecting to be sued by the companies that own the Power Rangers IP or the companies that own the Super Sentai IP.
If you have any questions, please feel free to comment them or reach out privately.
Voice Actor
These will typically be characters who are only in one episode or who will be less common.
These characters include, but are not limited to:
The monster of the week
Parents of the main cast
Students or teachers
Regular civilians or civil services
Past Rangers (Ep 0)
You may be asked to voice and act different roles if selected here.
Multiple people will be selected.
Requirements:
A clear microphone
(Monster) HAHAHA! With a touch of this button, I don't even know how many people will be rolling in fire...
(Student) Hey, do you know what's going on in the gym? It sounds a bit... You know...
(Civ) Take the kid outside and wait for others. Make sure no one else goes in. Understood?
Voice Actor
Zara is the mentor character for this project.
(Details may change at a future date)
Zara is a wise, mythical and sometimes motherly character who's main role in the story is to guide, aid and teach the Rangers.
In terms of lore, she is an AI that was once a Morphing Master and (Technically) the sole survivor of a galactic tragedy.
She does have a distant and unnatural quality to her but this may be due to her astronomical age.
Requirements:
A clear microphone
I am Zara. The last guardian of the Morphing Grid.
The flowers growing through the damaged concrete, from old wounds. The world doesn't erase it's scars, but it continues. The past remains but it no longer defines everything. Even after everything, something still blooms.
The Rangers... They are all gone... A great evil... It came for us. It came for us all. And without hesitation, they all fought. We won. But we paid gravely. We paid with their powers. With their lives.
Voice Actor
The leading villain of New Gen.
His position is similar to Venjex, an ultimate planner in control of the army.
Venrox is a scheming and calculated villain who has a commanding presence to his voice.
Venrox is, however, not robotic. His personality is on the fine line where it can be interpreted as valid nihilism or as cold evil logic which does make him seem like a robot but he has an understanding of emotions.
Note:
Some major details (i.e. The name) may be changed so that we are not sued to high heaven.
Requirements:
A clear microphone
AH! After 5000 years, I'm free! Time to conquer EARTH!
Humanity is a failed exhibition. An uncommitting species that could not choose what it wants for itself... What have your leaders ever accomplished? What have your nations ever accomplished? What have you ever accomplished?
We will survive. We will conquer. When the time is right, we will emerge as the supreme power of the universe.
Voice Actor
Lena is a punk rock, tomboyish supporting character with a relentless one-sided rivalry with the Pink Ranger. She is planned to be in several episodes.
She's a strong and confident teen, but has a slight hint of inferiority, though she tries her best not to show it by acting superior (Not overly superior, however). She can get stubborn but never to the point of being mean, and she's always first to show what she's feeling.
Requirements:
A clear microphone
This place is giving me the creeps... But whatever is calling... Whatever wants to help, it's through there...
Second place isn't bad. I was only a mere millisecond slower. It's all just chance, like last time... And the time before that... And the time before that- Don't think you've bested me!
5 POWERS!? And you're only saying this now?! It's not like they're going to whip out another one out of nowhere! One of us is going to be left out.
