Mikey is the rival of one of the players, he started out with a rough life but wants to succeed to show his parents he can win by himself without them being helicopter parents. His rival is the exact opposite, someone who essentially had no involvement with their parents but remains subtle as possible about his history, Mikey is Boisterous and proud of himself but knows when he's going too far and stops himself (kinda like the rivalry between Legoshi and Bill in Beastars). For his voice, I'm thinking that of Bill the tiger in Beastars but slightly higher pitched. He currently has a Poliwhirl, Lampent and Charjabug on his team for reference. Really looking for energy on this character.
(Meeting the other trainers) HOWDY HOWDY, how are you doing today? The name's Mikey, and I'm going to impress you in the next few hours.
(Opening his performance) LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS AND ALL OTHER CREATURES GATHERED HERE TODAY!! Allow me and my Pokémon to raise your standards of performance and enjoyment here tonight!
(finale of his performance) ....Oh We're not done yet folks, Come on you two, let's show these people what a real FireStorm looks like! LAMPENT, USE INFERNO! CHARJABUG, USE DISCHARGE!
Basca is the Pokémon equivalent of the Whale Wars Captain but happier and with a more Conservationist and less Pirate vibe. Basca is a Water/Ice specializing Gym leader with a Dewgong, Sealeo, Avalugg and Empoleon. Basca has some history with Pastoria City's gym leader Crasher Wake, and almost became his wrestling partner over a decade ago, so some of his indominable spirit rubbed off on her during their time together. Basca, working with Professor Cedar, is also responsible for organizing conservation efforts for many of the places in Sinnoh affected by team Galactic 4 years ago, doing her best to restore nature to better than it was before in the region. For her Voice I'm looking for a bit deeper in tone, and similar to Lenora in Pokémon generation's Uprising episode.

(Panicked) GET OUT OF THE WAY! YOU'RE GONNA GET HURT IF YOU KEEP STANDING THERE!.......(Iceberg piece falls).........(relieved) Oh thank Arceus! no one got hurt did they?...*whew*....(calmer) The name's Basca, I'm the gym leader here in Lillypad Town, and that happens a lot more than you think around here so be more careful if you can.
(calm at first but rising in intensity) ...(Pokénav rings) This is Basca, what's up?.......Yeah, the colony is an hour out from port, why?....Wait, what?....where was the research team?.....WHAT?!?.....I'm on my way, stall them as long as you can.........(addressing the party) well it seems like some poachers have found one of the piplup and prinplup colonies and attacked the researchers observing it, the conservationist response team is in the other direction checking on the walrein herds. I need help to tackle these monsters, would you please help me out on this? I'll make it worth your time....
(Having fun but trying to hide it badly) Very Nice!....But you still need to keep fighting if you want to beat the sinnoh league, Come on Empoleon, show 'em why you're the king around here!
Basically there will be many assorted trainers on the various routes and participating in tournaments, challenges, gym battles and the Pokémon League. and it'll be fun to have the trainers face off against NPCs that have a bit more voice behind them. For each submission state what type of trainer you are portraying (ace trainer, youngster, Mountain climber, swimmer, ect...) and the lines you think would fit for the various situations. Also if you do input a Pokémon, please don't include legendaries, Mythicals, or pokemon there would otherwise not make sense for a generic trainer to have (for example a Youngster that happens to have a Suicune, or a beauty that happens to own a Tapu Bulu) other than that feel free to put what you think would be fun, I'll be picking 8-10 of the lines here. For example this of all the lines the trainers in the aftergame battle tower say before and after their battles.
