Project Overview
Hello!
My name is Scalpha, but you can call me Alex. I'm the Director of a Fandub of Pokémon Adventures Black and White, the tenth chapter of the Pokémon Adventures Manga.
I'd like to not only dub scenes from the official manga, but also smaller projects such as fan comics. And for that, I'll need a Voice Actor for every Protagonist in the PokéSpe Manga! Every Arc has different Protagonists, that are usually based on the playable in-game characters. They all have different personalities, backstories, Pokémon, etc.
What is PokéSpe?
PokéSpe, also known as Pokémon Special or Pokémon Adventures, is a manga series authored by Hidenori Kusaka. Unlike the anime—which, though drawing much inspiration from the games, does not follow them exactly—Pokémon Adventures is a mostly game-based manga, with the twenty-one main characters taking their names from the core series games and their various adventures tending to stay restricted to their home region. The Black and White chapter of the Pokéspe manga follows the adventures of Black, who is on a quest to become the Champion of the Pokémon League. He is joined by White, a young woman who owns the Pokémon acting company, the BW Agency, and aims to raise the best Pokémon actor. As they go through the Unova region they encounter the group Team Plasma, who aim to free Pokémon from Trainers, and the mysterious N.
You may be asking yourself; "What exactly are we going to be dubbing?"
Well, that will be decided on our Discord Server, which brings us to the requirements.
-Please, be willing to join our Discord. We will be deciding what exactly to dub on there!
-Be comfortable voicing romantic scenes! Don't worry, there will be nothing sexual or anything like that. Just stuff like saying "I love you".

Red, The Fighter, is pretty much your usual shonen protagonist. He's strong, kind, outgoing, brave and willing to do anything to save the world and his friends.
His special skill gave him the name "The Fighter". He's an exceptional Pokémon battler and is able to utilize his Pokémon's moves, talents and skills in unique ways and to their fullest potential.
At the time of the ORAS arc, Red is 20 years old.

Green (also known as Blue in the English version), The Trainer, is always calm, composed and focused.
Green's special skill is Pokémon training; leveling them up, making them strong and bringing out the best in them. That is how he got his title; "The Trainer."
I imagine him having a deep, strict voice.
(In his battle against Red in the Pokémon League) Choosing Venusaur against Charizard? That is so very, very you... Choosing sentiment over victory!

Come to think of it... There's no reason to give it our all here, is there? Eventually, one of us will be imparted the Ultimate Skills. I don't care if it's you or me... As long as we get to beat that thing.
Blue is quite cunning and quick-witted. She can talk others into believing a bold-faced lie and talk her way out of many tight situations.
Blue's special skill is Pokémon Evolving, which is how she earned her title "The Evolver".
Ooooh! You must be such a good Pokémon Trainer! I got so excited watching you battle! It's a shame you don't have any battle items... Would you like to buy some? How about this attack plus?

I came to thank you... Thanks, Red. Green and Kimberly told me about the whole thing... about how you stood up and fought for me when I fainted from the shock of my parents disappearing right in front of my eyes. You even learned a new "Ultimate Skill" and selflessly went up against an incredibly powerful foe... all for my sake.

Yellow is quite naive and acts very much like a little child. She hates it when Pokémon are injured, hers or her opponent's, and has developed a style of battle in which neither her nor her opponent's Pokémon are hurt unless it is absolutely necessary. However, when enraged, her Pokémon's levels and powers increase, raising her Pokémon's levels up to level 80-90.
Her special skill is Pokémon healing; she can heal them with just a touch, thanks to her heritage, Thanks to that ability, she had earned the title "The Healer".
I'm on a mission from Professor Oak to team up with Pika and find the missing Red!
(Ratty, her Rattata evolves [she doesn't know what evolution is at this point]) Ratty!!! Nooooo!!! Wh... Wh... Waaaaah!

Gold is much more immature and mischievous. He likes playing billiards, but sometimes he may use his Pokémon to cheat. Gold's mother has described him as "careless". Gold also tends to lie or exaggerate at times, in a bid to make himself seem more impressive, and other people around him notice it. He also seems to exhibit a one-track mind at times. Despite his negative traits, Gold is also noted for his moments of ingenuity, formulating plans and executing them spontaneously while appearing to slack off. Ultimately, Gold cares extremely for those around him and won't hesitate to sacrifice everything for their sake.
Gold's special talent is Pokémon breeding. Due to the fact that he has lived with Pokémon for his entire life, he has the ability to draw out the largest potential of a baby Pokémon.
Alright... c'mon Gold, don't be a bitch now! It's all gonna go just like ya planned, you're the hero who saved Johto after all! No woman could resist ya! ...then again, it's not like she HASN'T done that before. She's never reacted to my flirts, especially not lately. She's been wayyyy more focused on her studies and stuff lately.
(Gold snaps at the masked man, the villain of his Arc) You're saying... you captured them only for their feathers...? You captured Ho-oh and Lugia... Just to create a Pokéball?! Bullshit! Are they just weapons or materials to you?! And the Pokémon League... Kurt too?! Even Team Rocket?! Are they just Pawns?! Is that true!?
It can't be, right? Even if it's true... Pokémon... they're different, right? You must've battled with Pokémon before... You won't deem them as being only weapons, will you? Tell me now! What are Pokémon to you?! ANSWER ME!(Professor Oak gave a woman a letter that was meant to be delivered to Gold. He talks about every dexholder's special ability in it, but doesn't mention Gold.) Huh? Hey! What're you saying?! Is that it?! There must be more!! What about my abilities?! There has to be something! There has to be!
(Shakes the woman that gave him the letter, shouts at her, desperate to know his special ability) Can you tell me?! I must have something! Don't I have an ability that places me alongside other Pokémon Trainers?!
No... This can't be... I'm sure- ...Wait... don't tell me... He's asking me to give up the battle now? He's hinting that since I don't have any special talent, I'd better know my limits and give up now?
He wrote all that just to tell me this?! What a joke!! How can I stop now?! I must have something, don't I?! Something to be proud of?! Battle, training, healing, capture, evolution, exchange!! A seventh ability to add to the list! Please! Please, tell me!
As a child, Silver was kidnapped by the Masked Man along with several other children. There, he met and befriended a young girl named Blue. After spending several years being trained by the Masked Man, Blue led an operation for her and Silver to escape the Masked Man when his guard was down. After successfully managing to run away, the two began to work together to put an end to the Masked Man's ambitions.
Silver is a powerful Pokémon Trainer and incredibly sneaky. I imagine him having a low voice.
His special talent is Pokémon Trading, which earned him the title "The Exchanger".
Crys! Crys, can you hear me?! Look at you... Were you hurt when Arceus fired at the Gym?!
Huh... I guess it's about time to let you witness the forte trick of this Tyranitar... Sandstorm.
"Silbro"...? Seriously, Gold? Anyway, no time to talk. We need to stop Team Rocket, before they manage to unleash Arceus!
Crystal is an expert in capturing Pokémon, a skill she developed when she was young. After an accident during her childhood that left her arms broken, Crystal learned to kick Poké Balls with her feet. Although by now her arms have been completely healed, Crystal has retained the habit of kicking her Poké Balls instead of throwing them. Crystal is very dedicated to her task of completing the Pokédex and has faith in her Pokémon and their ability to help her. Though she can be insecure about herself when she fails, with encouragement she is able to pick herself back up and restore her confidence in herself.
Her title is "The Capturer", a title that she has earned for her unrivaled Pokémon capturing skills.
As a voice reference, I'd use Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug.

Ruby has a great passion for Pokémon Contests. While he's an excellent battler, he only fights when necessary or when no one takes notice. He believes that Pokémon battles are barbaric, and get his Pokémon dirty — something that he does not like. Ruby can be quite shallow at times, putting too much emphasis on outward appearances. After going through character development, he managed to learn that appearances aren't the only thing that makes one beautiful. For his skills, he is given the title of "Charmer".
Ruby should have a rather high voice. Make him sound flamboyant.
So, this is Hoenn. It looks beautiful from here... the perfect place for my Pokémon! And my team is always... Clever... Strong... Adorable... Cool... And, of course, beautiful!

Sapphire is a Pokémon Trainer and the daughter of Professor Birch. She often assists her father with his fieldwork and years of doing so have given her various skills such as heightened physical strength and senses. Due to constantly being surrounded by nature, she has come to dislike the idea of beautifying Pokémon instead of leaving them in their natural state. After some character development, she has learned to appreciate the idea of beauty.
She conquered every gym in the Hoenn region within 80 days, earning herself the title of "The Conqueror"

Emerald is a Pokémon Trainer of unknown origins. Due to the loss of his parents at a young age, he was moved between his family members and was constantly bullied by his cousins due to his short height and tendency to rely on the help of Pokémon to get objects from high places. These events led to Emerald developing a complex about his height and a dislike of Pokémon. To get over his height issues, he used hair gel to style his hair upwards and wore various gadgets and clothing to make himself look taller than he actually is.
Because he's constantly moved to different places, Emerald has developed the ability to determine a Pokémon's birthplace. If a Pokémon goes wild, Emerald can calm it down using soil from its birthplace. Thanks to this ability, he has earned the title of "The Calmer".
(Injured) You're wrong... What I wish for... Is actually friends and their partners; united as one. Friends with the same goals, facing the same obstacles together... The thing that I've always, always wanted! I don't like Pokémon battles at all...
I like Pokémon! I like those who treat Pokémon with kindness!
(Looking at the other Dexholders, his new friends) Jirachi... Good night. And... Thanks. This is exactly what I've wished for.
There's still one more thing we can do. Why would we have to save the planet through just legends or just science? If you Draconids have been passing down how to drive away meteors for millennia, there's got to be things only you know. If both sides share what they know with each other, and make up for their weaknesses that way, you're sure to make a breakthrough!
Diamond is often apathetic and rarely not seen eating - even in dire situations, as was the case when he had a feast with his Pokémon while aboard a Team Galactic airship that was headed straight to their HQ. He shares these traits with his Pokémon, especially so with his Munchlax. While not fat, he is much less active and energetic when compared to Pearl or Platinum, as seen when Platinum mused that every morning since the trio began traveling together, Diamond would perpetually end up being the last to get up. However, he is always serious when it comes to food and is an expert at cooking Poffins. Diamond and his best friend, Pearl, form a comedy duo.
Diamond has a somewhat natural instinct to judge how a Pokémon feels and can be quite observant when something arouses his interest. He is driven by emotion, thus his association with Mesprit. For his skills, he is given the title of "Empathizer".

Speaking of Pokémon... If I was a Pokémon, I'd probably be a Dream Eater. [Pearl slaps him; "That's an attack!"] Oooh. Right.
We were chased by a strange organization in Veilstone City... They were just like the demonic grunts in Proteam Omega! Umm... In other words... th-that's why they were like b-bad guys... And those guys... h-had the same mark on their chest as y-you... A-are you... the boss of the bad guys? If so... I have to... stop you...!

Pearl is impatient and is often accidentally getting himself and his friend, Diamond into trouble. Compared to Diamond, Pearl is hasty and easily angered and, according to Diamond, always goes out of his way to complete things he has started, which reflects the virtue that he is aligned with: willpower, which also makes him associated with Azelf. Pearl is also very bossy and usually tells Diamond and Platinum what to do. For his skills, he is given the title of "Determiner".

That annoying beeping that I had to listen to every morning... I won't hear it today. Every morning, somehow, it would always make me feel better... That tedious beeping...(Pearl starts crying, but quickly wipes his eyes.)
Woah, it's you! The Luxray from Route 233!! Long time no see! Haha, you've been wandering all around Sinnoh, haven't you?! That must be how you've attracted such a large following!
Platinum is a member of the house of Berlitz, a 200-year old and extremely financially powerful family of Sinnoh. She wears diamond and pearl rings. She does not give her name to commoners, instead insisting that they refer to her as "Missy" or "Lady". She is very knowledgeable as a result of reading lots of books during her childhood. However, since beginning her journey she has decided that it is better to actually experience as much as possible. For this reason, Platinum challenges the Gyms of Sinnoh and also takes on other challenges such as the Super Contests of Hearthome City. She has shown a natural tendency to recognize patterns and has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of various areas of Sinnoh and Pokémon in general, although, towards the beginning of her journey, she had difficulty dealing with wild Pokémon.
Due to her incredible amount of knowledge and her connection to the legendary Pokémon Uxie, she has earned the title "The Understander".
Make her sound calm and composed, maybe give her an English accent.

Good morning... Rapidash, Empoleon. It is weird to be the first one in the lobby. Pearl would always be here before me, greeting me with a look that had "You're so slow!" written all over it. After that, Diamond would be the next to come down, still rubbing his eyes. We would know that he was coming down because our Pokédexes would start beeping. Then, we would turn the beeping off and start a new day. I suppose I won't hear that beeping today...
The Pokédexes would beep so often, every day... It's just a sound, but... but...
(Platinum starts crying, holding back.)

I did not. Why would I even laugh? There is absolutely no reason for me to do so.
Blake, codename Black 2, is a member of the international police. He's currently undercover in a school, trying to find a 12-year-old girl that is part of Team Plasma. He usually keeps a facade up; flirting with girls, hanging out with other students and just being the "popular kid". In truth, however, Blake feels no emotions. When he's serious, he talks flat, showing no hints of sadness, joy or anger. If you want to voice Blake, you'll have to be able to voice him as a womanizer and as an emotionless, strict cop.
Due to his skills as superintendent of the international police despite his young age, he has earned the title of "Arrester".
(Flirting, keeping his facade up) Thank you, ladies! Your hair looks great today, Yuuko. It looks like your Sunkern's! And Mayu smells so good! It's your Combee's honey! Aaaah...

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how that's cruel. There's no reason to hesitate in taking the most effective means. If Techno Blast accidentally discharges and Genesect is hurt, we can just heal it. If we're unable to save them this way, we can just work out another method to do it. Concepts like "fear" and "pity"... I don't comprehend them.
Whitley is a former member of Team Plasma. She sided with the faction of Team Plasma who were with N's wish to liberate Pokémon from evil humans. She was tasked with guarding a memory card with the blueprints of a device able to counteract a machine created by Colress able to control Pokémon. After the team's defeat in the Black and White Chapter, she was forced to move away so that any traces of her past would be left behind. Despite this, she yearns for the return of Team Plasma's king, N. For her beliefs and attachment to the original Team Plasma's philosophy, she is given the title of "Liberator".
