HUGE Pokémon Adventures Gold And Silver Arc CASTING
Project Overview
-The project will not have a deadline for the first batch of characters for at least 1 month, the deadline is only set for the CCC algorithm.GUIDELINES TO READ BEFORE YOU AUDITION!!!!
-I’ve included voice examples to have a better understanding of the voice range and tone. Please feel free to give your own impression of the character.
-Some characters will be cast early. This is just so I can work on the project and give everyone a chance to audition for characters that show up in future chapters. In order: Silver, Jasmine, Whitney, Sham, Carl, Yellow, Daisy Oak, Red, Crystal, Morty, Eusine, Lt.Surge, Janine, Chuck, Clair, Brock, Misty, Erika, Sabrina, Clair, Lance, Blaine, Bruno, Karen, then Will.-Dont not start your audition with “Hello my name is so so etc”. The first few seconds can make or break your audition.
-This is a long-term project! Please be prepared for the long haul!
-Something to remember when auditioning: You will have to yell some lines... so please acknowledge that!
-Knowing the manga or show is preferred, but not required.
-Lines will usually be due 1-2 weeks after the script for the chapter is posted! (This is subject to change and is flexible)
-Please be 16+! This manga has some scenes not recommended for people under that age!
-Have a decent-sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise. This will affect who we will cast. (Phone mics, gaming headsets, and computer/cam mics will not be accepted) Don’t alter your audio further.
-Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
-All the audition lines are pulled from the manga.
-Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with. We will do the same.
-Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a Discord server, so it is required to have a Discord account!
-If you have a hard accent please avoid auditioning for this project.
-Some crew will be auditioning, but we assure you that we will not play favorites. Everyone has a fair shot!
-For line reading. There is a set direction at the start of most lines, if the direction is not present, please interrupt it how you see fit.
-I am only one individual, the work for the editing will take some time. But I assure you that it will be done! SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME

Summary:
As peace returns to Kanto, new journeys and happenings begin in another region, Johto. Gold is enjoying his normal life with his family Pokémon, who has been with him since birth until he runs into a Pokémon thief at Professor Elm's lab. As he goes on a journey of chasing the thief, Silver, with a Cyndaquil from Professor Elm's laboratory and a Pokédex from Professor Oak, he stumbles upon the secret plots of the Masked Man, the enigmatic leader of Neo Team Rocket. At the same time, Professor Oak sends out a "Pokémon Capture Professional," Crystal, on a journey to complete the Pokédex. She gets involved in Eusine's plans to capture Suicune and tries to do so herself. Soon after, she also gets involved with the plot of Masked Man, who is apparently after the two of Johto's Legendary Pokémon, Lugia and Ho-Oh. When it is discovered that the Masked Man is a Gym Leader, an exhibition tournament between Kanto and Johto's Gym Leaders is held at Indigo Plateau to uncover the culprit. Meanwhile, the Masked Man plans to capture time itself for his ultimate plan and recover something he once lost.
About me:
My name is Grand, I'm the head director, editor, sound designer, audio engineer, and voice of Gold for this project. This is a direct 1 to 1 adaptation of the Manga and it will be uploaded onto my YouTube Channel Cosmic Star Productions (CSP for short). I’ve included the playlist of the videos for the intro and guide. However, with the vast number of characters, I need passionate and interested voice actors to bring this project to life fully. Unfortunately, this is an unpaid production. I can pay you in his experience, connections, friendship, and directing to help you grow as a voice actor!

Hello everyone, free time is looking to be swinging back in my direction! Im really happy to get back to the project after so long. So I decided to go back and review everyone's submissions. Over the past few hours of review, I have compiled a list of names for the most likely VAs to be cast for roles or those with whom I wish to work in the future. Hello everyone. Im sure you're all curious and anxious for the deadline of this project and extended deadlines for it. I wanna start off by apologizing. I have been going through a move for past couple of weeks, and this affects the editing for the chapters, and the time of when I will cast. Red is the main character from the previous series. He is brave, kind, and outgoing, and he fully believes in the idea/thought process that he is the best Pokémon trainer. He does not let this belief get to his head, as he is more than willing to help younger kids catch a Pokémon. However, it isn't until he loses his first proper battle which humbles him and he goes to the only place that can help him to become the very best Pokémon trainer, and from that point on, his journey starts. Red is very much the quintessential hero and is capable of feats of agility and is always willing to help others, with or without the help of his Pokémon.

As a child, Silver was kidnapped by the Masked Man along with several other children. There, he met and befriended a young girl named Green. After spending several years being trained by the Masked Man, Green led an operation for her and Silver to escape the Masked Man when his guard was down. After successfully managing to run away, the two began to work together to put an end to the Masked Man's ambitions. Silver's particular skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon trading (taught to him when he was with the Masked Man), and he is known as the "Exchanger." He eventually learns to grow and fights for what's right.

As a child, she had a bad fall resulting in her arms breaking and learned how to kick Poké Balls with her feet to capture a Pokémon, which has become her habit even after her arms are mended. Also, she is often called "Super Serious Gal" by Gold, which represents her serious nature. Next to that, she's brave and does everything to help others, which is shown when she stops working at the kindergarten (which looked terrible), to help Oak with his research by completing the Pokédex. Crystal then uses the money she gets to repair the building at the kindergarten, making everyone cry since she has always been kind and caring.
For her precision in capturing Pokémon, she is given the title of "Catcher".

However, as time goes on she gradually starts showing a better side to her character, such as loyalty toward her allies - even if they were formerly her enemies - and she eventually changes her evil ways, becoming a proper Gym Leader and later an actress.

Leaving her with a sense of regret of not being able to as good as him, but also heartbroken since her original purpose doesn't exist. However, she does care heavily for him, she takes over his position at the gym as promised and gets defensive when his name is brought up in slander.
