PMD: Voiced! (2nd Casting Call)
Project Overview
We are in need of a few more artists and company for our Pokemon Mystery Dungeon voice acting project! We are also recasting one voice and looking for individuals associated with animation/storyboarding/making animatics!
We are independent creators working together to create a definitive rendition of the PMD story, completed with accompanying art, character voicing, and other details. We want to make the story available to everyone, and to present it in an accurate and entertaining way, while still keeping its original charm.
For our artists, we will have our dedicated art director look over your portfolios and make a final decision on what our art team will look like. We will love to see a link to your portfolio, and we would also prefer to see how well you draw our two heroes, Hoshi and Toto if desired.
None of this work will be paid (legal reasons, cause it’s Pokémon), but donations might be a possibility in the future.

Toto is a Totodile, which is a happy crocodile pokemon. Toto will likely have the most prominent role in terms of speech, so this voice has to be good. He is the partner/best friend to our hero, Hoshi! He is very friendly and naturally trusting, and also simple and supportive of doing the right thing.
Toto’s voice should sound similar to Veronica Taylor (Ash Ketchum in Pokémon) and/or Tails from Sonic. Kind of nasally, compressed and grumbly, but with a very positive outlook on everything! This is the friend that gets excited easily and you might have to calm down. A good point of reference would be the original voice we had (Kasai), but feel free to deviate a little if you think it will help.

We would like to have someone with animation or animatic experience. We may not be animating the entire project, but we do want to see about animating some segments.
