Project Overview
Nocturne is a short sapphic visual novel that touches on themes of mental health and the troubles of coming to turn with your own identity. The script is already complete, alongside art & coding in the works. I expect to release the game early next year.
"When your best friend, Carmilla, goes missing, you keep looking for her even after everyone else has given up. Almost two weeks have passed when you remember what she told you, "Sometimes I like to think about what it would be like to pack up and run away. Yknow? Hey if I ever just like disappear, find my diary, if I do run away, I'll leave a clue for you and you can come and find me. Like a game of hide and seek."
Running back to her house, you search and search and search until you finally find it. Hidden away where no one would ever find it, a small leather-backed journal. Reading through its contents, you almost begin to feel that you may not have been as close to Carmilla as you thought.
Finally, you reach the end of its contents, ending on a page that leaves you with more questions than answers and a confused heart. With nothing but your phone, a lighter, and a small dash of hope, you rush off following the small lead Carmilla had left behind. Hoping to solve this mystery finally."
