Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (Fandub)[Case 1 and Recurring]

Project Overview

Hey! Thanks for your interest in this complete fandub of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice! For those unfamiliar, Spirit of Justice is the sixth mainline game in the Ace Attorney series, in which the titular Phoenix Wright tackles cases in the mysterious and oppressive foreign land of Khura'in while his protoges, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, solve stateside murders, until both sides come together in an explosive final case that pits master against apprentice and rebellion against regime. It's all very exciting. Familiarize yourself if you haven't, I guarantee it's good enough to warrant the time and effort.

This fandub will cover the entire game - that means all six main cases, and potentially even the Asinine Attorney DLC! For footage, I'll be using the Android version of the game, which is the version with the highest visual fidelity to date.

This casting call will be specifically for characters who appear in multiple cases in the game (not counting the credits of Turnabout Revolution) as well as characters who only appear in the first case of the gameWe can't very well get started without our case 1 cast present, now can we?

**IMPORTANT NOTES**

- I'd like to do live direction for most characters, if possible. If you're uncomfortable or unable to do so, that's absolutely no problem at all, but I do as that you let me know in the text below your audition, in a comment, or in a DM. By no means will it count you out if live direction is an issue.

- Assume any character you can audition for has to scream, very loudly, multiple times in this game. Sorry, I didn't write the game, it's not my call! But make sure you have access to a time or a place where you can afford to be loud every once in a while.

- This is a 40-50 hour game. Now, no character appears in every single case, so your workload will certainly be much less than that, but it does mean we can expect to be at this for a while.  If you'd like to finish your part as quickly as possible and don't want to wait for the other cast members to keep up, let me know after you're casted and we can work it out.

- Mic quality is not just a factor - it's a prerequisite, regardless of how good you are for a part. Please have a microphone of at least the quality of a Blue Snowball before auditioning. I also request that, just for this audition, you apply noise reduction to your audio if there's any noise to reduce. I'll handle it in future, but for the sake of a first impression I'd like you to do it yourself this time.

- If cast, you'll be invited to a Discord server. Feel free to mute all channels on that server aside from the announcement channel, but joining the server isn't optional, save for some extenuating circumstances. It'll be super important for organization on my end.

- Feel free to give multiple takes in your audition. It's by no means a requirement, and I'm fully aware these audition lines are long enough as is, but a couple different deliveries can make evaluating your performance easier if you think it would give me a better picture.

- This goes without saying, but try and enjoy yourself! This should be a fun thing.

Now, quickly, some characters from this batch who won't be up for audition, either because I've already given them to somebody else or have taken them for myself. I'm really sorry in advance! I tried not to get too greedy!

- Phoenix Wright (Myself. Sorry about this one, but I had to!)

- Inga Karkhuul Khura'in (Myself)

If a character is not listed above, please feel free to audition for them! All are welcome!

Also, please consult this google document if you have any doubts about how a character's or location's name might be pronounced. I'll include every spoken name and place where any doubt is to be expected. For now, I'll only do names that are spoken in the lines listen for the auditions.

Anyway, that's all! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Latest Updates

  • All roles cast

Alright, on that note, callbacks are finished and all roles have been cast! Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned! There'll be two more casting calls in the future for this project, one for the casts of cases 2, 3, and 4, and one for the casts of cases 5, and 6(DLC). If you didn't get a part this time around, I highly encourage you to audition for those casting calls when they go up! There were hundreds of auditions for only a little over a dozen parts, so there's a lot of people who weren't cast this time around that I loved hearing and that I'm really hoping will try out for later characters, and that probably includes you. Yes, you, person reading this. Believe me or not, I want you to try again for the next one. I'll post an update here when the 2-3-4 call goes up, and when the 5-DLC call goes up, but otherwise, that's it for me! Thanks again!
  • (Most) Casting Complete!

Alrighty, it's January 5th, and with that, almost all the casting choices have been made! Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned. There were a ton of auditions that were fantastic and just barely didn't make the cut, so please don't take it personally if you weren't selected for a role. For the roles that have been cast, a private message has already been sent with an invite to the project's discord server. The extras that have been cast will also get a PM with the same invite by the end of the day. For the roles that haven't been cast, today marks the beginning of what some might call the "callback" phase. I'll be privately messaging people I want to hear more from over the next 24 hours. Also, it's important to note that not receiving a DM does not necessarily mean you're out of the running; it just means I don't think I need to hear more. So with that, there'll be one final update once callbacks are finished. Thanks to everyone for giving it your all!
  • Final 48 hours!

I am totally floored by the response this casting call has gotten over the past 30 days. Thank you all so much! I have hope that this'll turn out to be something special. With 48 hours left on the clock (don't miss any last-minute auditions!), I figured I'll detail the course of action from here. At the start of the New Year, the call will officially be closed, and I'll start sorting through auditions. I've already been taking notes, but I'll be going back through every audition again to reaffirm my position on them and creating my final shortlist. This can be expected to take until the 5th of January, partly just because I'll need to mull on it, haha. (By the way, if you're a person I reached out to to audition for a particular character and you haven't done so yet, I recognize I may have asked you to do so on short notice at a busy time of the year, so as long as you can still manage to post the audition/s by the 5th, it's okay to be a little late in your case.) Anyways, on the 5th, I'll begin casting. Any role casted to an actor who auditioned privately will be marked as "cast to offsite actor." Otherwise, I'll cast you on-site. The extras will be PMed and that role will be marked as "cast to offsite actor" as well. Any role not cast on that specific day will be subject to callbacks. If you're selected for callbacks, I'll send you a message at this time either with additional samples to read, a few questions to answer, or both. I don't expect to do this with many roles though, especially minor ones, and it might work out that I don't do this at all. It just depends how difficult this decision ends up being for me, haha. Once callbacks are done, I'll cast the remaining roles, and production will officially begin! Also, at this time, I may reach out to certain people to ask them about playing certain future parts. I would like to stress that if you end up not getting a part, you shouldn't take it personally, or as an insult to your abilities. There were a hell of a lot of auditions for this project, and only a dozen or so parts, so there's a lot of very talented people who won't end up getting a role. I mean, almost 100 people auditioned for Apollo alone. Absolutely do not take it personally if you don't get him. Also, I also encourage anyone who isn't casted to try again for parts in later cases, as there will be additional casting calls in the future for those as well. Alright, I've talked your ear off enough, so with that: Thank you!
  • Quick note:

Oh, and by the way, if it ever says prior to the deadline that your audition got rejected, don't worry. It was either because you posted multiple auditions for the same character and I'm rejecting the duplicates for the sake of organization, or it was a mistake on my part while I was removing said duplicates. If you think it might be the latter, let me know and I'll correct it.

Role assigned to: Raging Cop

Arguably the "true" protagonist of the game. Quick to judge and quicker to shout when a whisper would do. He's never quite gotten used to how weird the Ace Attorney universe can be the way his boss has.

He has roots in the kingdom of Khura'in, the highly religious Himalayan country Phoenix Wright spends most of the game in, but he refuses to talk about it until Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, his adoptive brother and Dhurke, his adoptive father, re-enter his life. He's taken on quite the emotional journey by the events of the game and is forced to make difficult decisions.

- His voice is mid-range. He's only been at this for a few years, but at the same time, he's already been at this for a few years (if that makes sense.) Basically, he knows what he's doing, but he's still not confident about it like someone with more experience would be.

- He can enjoy himself, but he probably wouldn't be described as a "fun" person by his friends. He gets easily annoyed and flustered, and doesn't like to humor people when they try and mess with him. It doesn't really bother him all that much in his overall attitude, though.

- He's the "everyman" of his half of the story. As such, his voice should be very "normal" and relatable as far as voices go, aside from his habit of speaking much louder than he needs to.

(Appears in The Magical Turnabout and Turnabout Revolution, where he's the main character, and main focus of the arc.

This is one of the largest parts in the game, so be prepared to be available for the long-term.)

  • "This is the box in which the orb was originally stored. It features the same pattern as the one found on the orb. Therefore, I assert that... the disputed item must have been made in the Kingdom of Khura'in! And since this is CLEARLY a Khura'inese design, not even you can deny the possibility that it was made there!"

  • "I don't think you'd ever make a mistake like that. I saw how hard you worked on your tricks, staying up late every night to practice. And I know you. You always get everything picture-perfect. I just know it wasn't your fault, Trucy! So I'm going to prove your innocence. Don't worry -- you're going to be FINE!"

  • "Objection!"

    "Hold it!"

    "Take That!"

    "Gotcha!"

    "Got it!"

(You don't have to do all five of these for the audition. Just prove you've got the lungs for it.)

Role assigned to: Khloe Faria

The newest lawyer in the Wright Anything Agency who managed to pass the bar at the absolutely shocking age of eighteen years old. Highly empathetic and emotive, she specializes in analytical psychology, augmented by her ability to accurately determine the emotional content of a witness's testimony via a heightened sense of hearing. She tries to use her empathetic nature to her advantage, but it can often be a detriment as well, as to this day she still hasn't been able to carry a case through to the end without some serious emotional support. But nevertheless, she's clever and energetic, and more than capable of changing the course of a trial!

- She doesn't sound so young that she can't be taken seriously as a lawyer, but she's also not fooling anybody into thinking she's fully matured yet.  Her voice is in the mid-to-high range.

- She's very energetic and emotionally volatile. You could tell her a story about a time someone broke up with you ten years ago and it'd literally reduce her to tears, and if you told her a story about rescuing a stray dog, she'd probably cry from happiness too. That, or run circles around the room to get her energy out.

- Athena wears a device around her neck called Widget, that occasionally blurts out whatever she's thinking. The device should have a voice that's distinct from Athena's, but is still recognizable as her.

(Appears in The Magical Turnabout, Turnabout Storyteller, Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler. She acts as the playable character in Turnabout Storyteller and the primary assistant in The Magical Turnabout, as well as a supporting role in Turnabout Revolution and a tertiary role in Turnabout Time Traveler.

This is one of the largest parts in the game, so be prepared to be available for the long-term.)

  • "Your honor! Prosecutor Sahdmadhi! The scent of purfume, an injury on the forehead... These things are completely consistent with Owen's testimony! In short... the mysterious individual Owen saw in the dressing room... could have been this witness! The defense wishes to formally indict the witness for the murder!"

  • *Bawling* "*Sniffle* Truuuucyyyyy! Let's wiiiin this triaaaal togetherrrrr! *sob*"

"Whoa! Look! There's a TV reporter over there! With a TV camera and everything!" "Widget: Oh yeah, baby!"

The royal priestess/princess of Khura'in. As the teenage daughter of the royal couple, she does her best to present herself in a dignified, professional manner befitting of an hier to the throne, but her youth and immaturity often shines through. This is especially the case when she's enraged by something, like having her beliefs on the legal system challenged.

- She tries to present her voice in the mid-to-low range (low for a teenager, anyway), but when flustered she may not be quite so deep/mature-sounding.

(Rayfa appears in The Foreign Turnabout, The Rite of Turnabout, and Turnabout Revolution. In each, she plays a major role, and is considered the game's deuteragonist.)

  • "Be not disquieted, my people. He merely expresses his opinion.

Attorneys are ghastly creatures, with souls stained black by brazen untruths. The words of a lowly worm such as that are not worth troubling yourselves over. "

  • "I won't forget this offense, Barbed Head! Y-Your mitamah will face due retribution in the Twilight Realm! The demons there will... They'll pluck the barbs right off your stupid head! Ha ha ha ha ha! I hope your suffering will be super-duper painful! And, and! I hope they throw you into a lake of burning fire, yeah! And then, and then...!"

Role assigned to: James Dijit

A serene exterior masks a tortured, toxic soul. Outside of court, he'd be considered a wise, kind man, but in court, where we see him the most, his words are vindictive and judgemental. Strangely enough, he views his strings of insults as a kindness towards those on the recieving end, hoping to sway them away from the path he once walked and toward the one he walks now. He incessantly repeats phrases like "let it go, and move on," as personal mantras in an attempt to put his many regrets behind him.

- His voice is in the mid-to-high range, but his voice has a very mature, and serene, almost sopoforic quality to it. You'd imagine he was much older than 25, his actual age. When enraged, the serenity in his voice dissipates, but it still maintains a sense of maturity until he's completely broken down.

(Nahyuta appears in The Magical Turnabout, The Rite of Turnabout, Turnabout Storyteller, and Turnabout Revolution. In each case, Nahyuta serves as the prosecutor, meaning he's the primary antagonist during the trial segments of the above cases, though in Turnabout Revolution his role is more complicated and in some ways reduced.)

  • "It is my duty as a monk to punish sinners, and to guide victims' souls to the Twilight Realm. Should you show repentance and admit to the accused's guilt now, no harm will come to you. But... should you interfere with my sacred last rites for the victim... then I shall cast you down into the pit of hell, along with the accused!"

  • "Enough of this foolishness! One person could not possibly be two! Those fingerprints could have been left, not only during the show, but at any time!"

  • "Objection!"

Ema Skye used to be one of those perky teenage assistant-types in her youth, but she's all grown up now. Real life hits like a truck, and left her bitter when her test scores forced her into the detective role, rather than the forensic investigator role she wanted. She wasn't very pleasant at the time, but nowadays, her promotion to full forensic investigator has her in a much better mood! Her irritable self from a few years back is still hiding in there somewhere, though, as she'll revert back to being a total grump whenever she's forced to help the prosecutor in a case against one of her friends.

- Ema's voice may be mid-range, but honestly it could be anywhere. She's 27 at this point, so while her voice isn't a teenager's, it's not completely matured either. She can be grumpy, but also giddy, and her voice should suit both states.

(Ema Skye appears as the detective for The Magical Turnabout, The Rite of Turnabout, Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler. Her role is about the same in each, assisting the playable lawyer in their investigation and providing minor testimony during trial segments.)

  • "Hello. I'm Ema Skye, Forensic investigator. Criminals beware! Fingerprinting, luminol testing, DNA analysis -- Ema Skye is raring to go, so bring it on! I'm so happy, I could hug the whole world!"

  • "I raced on over as soon as I heard that it was Mr. Butz, who'd holed himself up in here after making off with the murder suspect. The police are being extra careful because apparently, a certain someone yelled out... 'Stay back! I have a bomb!' ...I'm sure you can guess who I'm talking about."

  • *Irritated* "You disappoint me, Apollo. First, you know I'm not just a detective. I'm a forensic scientist. Do try to remember that. Second, you owe Mr. Wright an apology. After all he's done for you, you have some nerve! You'll never get anywhere with that attitude."

The old man who presides over, seemingly, every single trial Phoenix Wright or his associates ever hold. He's a kind man who cares very much about justice, but he's flaky and kind of stupid. This makes him very easy to sway in favor of the defense or prosecution, at times to the point of absurdity.

- He's an old, deep-voiced man, whose voice hasn't weakened with age. He's able to maintain a strong presence over the courtroom and his voice can even be considered booming when he makes an effort to project it. He's also on the livelier side.

(The Judge appears in The Magical Turnabout, Turnabout Storyteller, part 1 of Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler. The Judge presides over these cases, giving him a major supporting role in each.)

(Note: Feel free to audition for the Khura'inese Judge with the same voice you use for this one. I may even end up casting you as both Judges, with the same voice. Let me know if you don't want to be double-casted though.)

  • "Order! Order in the court! Well! I never would've imagined that there was more to these cards than meets the eye!"

  • "Wh-What a way to capture your audience's attention! I daresay I can't take my eyes off those balloons!"

  • "It looks as though we've reached the end of this trial. I feel as though I've been watching a grand magic show.

The old man who presides over, seemingly, every single Khura'inese trial. A bit more skeptical than our judge from back home, he's wary of defense attorneys, just like everyone else. Once his absolute faith in the legal system is challenged, however, he makes it his duty to give the defense a fair shake and rule impartially, though he often struggles to overcome his prejudices.

  • "To be honest... I didn't want to believe it, either. But with his life on the line, the defense pointed out an inconsistency. And it is our duty to scrutinize it to the satisfaction of the law. If you insist on interfering with that process, Your Benevolence... I'm afraid I must request your removal from this courtroom, royal priestess or not. "

  • "Thank you for giving an excellent outline of the case, Mr. Payne. Now, then. No more questions from the defense, I presume? ...Even more? But you just asked a bunch. "

Maya's kind of like the female equivalent of a man-child, not that that's necessarily a bad thing. She's perky, energetic, and really passionate about things that don't matter at all, like her favorite TV shows, and hamburgers. She loves acting on impulse and messing with her friends. Some people might see the way she behaves and think she's dumb or naive, but she's actually a pretty wise, level-headed person on the inside. She only acts the way that she does because she enjoys doing it.

- Maya has a mid-to-high pitched voice, and manages to sound as close to a teenager as a 28-year-old woman can. Whenever she's not "keeping it real," she's genuinely having fun being herself and it shows in the way she sounds.

(Maya appears in The Rite of Turnabout, Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler.  She plays a large part in The Rite of Turnabout, has a minor role in Turnabout Revolution, and acts as the investigation partner for Turnabout Time Traveler.)

  • "But what are we wasting all this time with thinking for when there's investigating to be done? We'd better hop to it, too!

It's been a long time since you and I teamed up like this! We'll start by investigating every single place that has anything to do with the case... and then grill every single person involved! Ooh, I can't wait to see what kind of evidence we'll find!"

  • "But your insights were wrong!

Don't you get it? Errors are bound to happen if your insights are accepted without question. So I ask you, royal priestess: what is your true duty? Do the victim's souls or the Holy Mother herself wish you to judge people in error?"

Her reputation as a magician has been steadily growing, to the point where she's now prolific enough to have her act televised. In her personal life, she's the adopted daughter of Phoenix Wright and a close fried to Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, all of whom she cares deeply for.

-Trucy's voice is an affected high-pitch.  She's essentially doing a cutesy anime-esque magical girl persona at all times, which especially comes through in her flashy gestures and voice. I'd describe her voice not as "fake", but as "intentioned."

(Trucy Wright appears in The Magical Turnabout, Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler. - Ga'ran has a matured, deep voice, fitting of a 43-year old royal entity. She keeps her tone as even as possible, in line with her regal image, but as soon as the gloves come off and the prosecutor's badge comes on, she switches from a regal tone to something better described as vaguely maniacal. Still, even in her prosecutorial form, she managed to appear trustworthy to the people of Khura'in, so she doesn't quite enter cartoon supervillain territory.

(Ga'ran appears in The Rite of Turnabout, and Turnabout Revolution. Ga'ran has a minor appearance in The Rite of Turnabout and serves as the prosecutor for the second half of Turnabout Revolution.)

He's not very well-off, but he doesn't let it show outside of being a bit stingy and entrepreneurial.

- His voice is mid-range for a nine-year-old boy. I imagine his voice would have a small amount of roughness to it, in that way anime kid voices normally do. His canon voice, which can be heard in the final anime cutscene (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=482PFrDslgI @9:50) suits him well.

He's deeply caring for the people for anyone he cares about or feels is deserving, and is even willing to risk or sacrifice his life in the defense and rescue of others.

- In this instance, the canonical voice, provided by Jamieson Price, is a terrific fit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=482PFrDslgI @ 8:15). It has a low register, and his voice is incredibly forceful. Even his speaking voice is closer to him shouting at a speaking volume.

  • "Apollo. In court tomorrow... you may find yourself faced with a truth that is difficult to accept. But I know you. and I know you can handle the truth, no matter what it turns out to be. I know that because I believe in you. You're my son, after all!"

  • "Wait. Don't tell me you haven't told anyone about me, son? It's okay to brag about it. Tell everyone your old man's me, the rebel Dhurke! I mean, my face is all over TV these days! I'm practically a celebrity, hah-ha ha ha ha ha!"

This guy's nothing but trouble. He looks like one of those scary rebel-types, but he's actually a pretty nice guy once you get to know him. He has trouble taking things seriously, though, and often pranks people whenever he has the chance, laughing his head off at their reaction.

- His voice is in the mid-tier raspy range, but he's clearly a weirdo. Maybe give him a little speech quirk or something. He's also a really emotive guy, so don't try to subdue the performance. Get loud and proud with Datz.

(Datz appears in The Rite of Turnabout and Turnabout Revolution. Datz is a key witness in The Rite of Turnabout and a key player in Turnabout Revolution as well, coming and going as he pleases.)

  • "Sorry I got a little rough with ya back there. Thought ya were the cops.

Why ya making that face? ...Hey, want an apple?"

  • "Well, it's true I parachuted down to the inner sanctum... but I banged my head on impact, and ended up unconscious outside the ritual curtain! In short, all my eyewitness testimony was a big, fat lie!!!"

  • "Pfffff! Haaaar har har har har! Those horns, AJ! They've grown up with ya, just like a stag's antlers! I can't take it!"

Miles Edgeworth

Role assigned to: projectalpha22

Formerly known as the "demon prosecutor," Miles Edgeworth was raised to seek a guilty verdict at any cost, but he's since made a complete 180, devoting himself to an endless pursuit not of defendants, but of the truth. Once a stoic and upight district prosecutor, he's since mellowed out (slightly) and risen in ranking over the years, with him now serving as chief prosecutor of the entire district. He's married to his job, and therefore doesn't make any sort of effort to be attractive to women, but they tend to find him attractive regardless, to his dismay.

- He's in the deep-to-mid voiced range, with a clear maturity and haughtiness audible within. Smooth-voiced and posh are the main attributes that come to mind. He can have a North American accent or an English accent.

(Edgeworth appears in Turnabout Revolution, and Turnabout Time Traveler. Edgeworth plays a minor supporting role in Revolution, and acts as the prosecutor for Time Traveler, making him the primary antagonist of that case.)

  • "Hmph. I have no intention of cavorting with my enemies. Jokes and good humor are beyond worthless in a court of law. However, were it after the conclusion of the trial... I might consider joining you for your little welcome back party. I certainly wouldn't mind an invite, at the very least."

  • "'...When something smells, it's usually the Butz...' Gaaaaaagh! That Larry! He'll pay for this!"

  • "*smug sigh* I'm disappointed, Mr. Wright. Is that really the best you could muster? That escape hatch is not meant to be used to get from the reception hall to the vista deck. One slip, and that's all it would take for Mr. Sprocket to plunge to his death!"

Gaspen Payne

Think "huge superiority complex" and you have Gaspen Payne. This is a man who specifically takes cases with rookie defense attorneys so he can mop the floor with them and make himself look better. This is a man who, when his own country kicked him out on corruption charges, he moved to a country where defense attorneys are literally illegal and became the chief prosecutor there so he'd never lose. This is a man who tricked an attorney into being charged with "treason against the crown" just to get back at them for beating him in court one time. "Arrogant slimeball" encapsulates him pretty well. In between all the gloating and groveling, however, when he's just presenting facts to the court, he couldn't be more boring and dull about it. He'd put his own mother to sleep.

- His brother, Winston Payne, is known for sounding like this (https://peal.io/p/payne-objection), and I like to think that's his actual speaking voice and not just how he sounds when he shouts. Gaspen has a mistakably similar voice to Winston, but is a bit more mellow.

(Gaspen appears in The Foreign Turnabout. He acts as the prosecutor, and therefore the primary antagonist, of that case.)

  • The accused is charged with two crimes: larceny... and murder. Yesterday, the Founder's Orb was stolen from the treasure room of Tehm'pul Temple. In addition to the theft, two other things were discovered in the treasure room: the dead body of Mr. Paht Rohl, temple security guard, and the empty treasure box."

  • "Heh... heh heh heh... Ha ha ha ha ha! You fell right into my trap, Phoenix Wright! Your win streak against me and my brother ends today!"

"Your Magistry, isn't a prison sentence a bit lenient? After all, we're talking about treason. One should pay for such a crime with one's life. Well? Don't hold your tears back on MY account, Phoenix Wright! Admit your defeat and grovel before me -- the chief prosecutor -- for your life!"

  • "Nngh... No... My perfect, unblemished record... destroyed... ...The Incredible Payne... ruined... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin is the new head monk of Tem'phul Temple. He always carries his trusty folk instrument called a Dahmalan and even teaches a class. He poses as a hippie-esque folk singer who even delivers his testimony as a song, but the "music of his soul" is actually "soul metal", and his true personality is much closer to that of a hard-rock junkie.

- It should go without saying, but you're gonna have to have some singing chops for this'un. You'll also need to be able to pull off both a groovy smooth-talking folk singer voice (which I personally imagine as an Elvis Presley sort of sound, but it's completely open to interpretation) and a heavy-metal screamer voice. Good luck!

(Adistan'dhin appears in The Foreign Turnabout. He is the killer and primary witness in the case.)

  • (Hippie Mode)

"Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin's the name. I'm, like, Tehm'pul Temple's head monk. Can ya dig? But you heard my sweet serenader's sultry sounds once before, brother... "

    *SUNG*

"After the morning Dance of Devotion, to go back to my chamber, I got the notion.

Don't you know my chamber's on the way, to the temple's treasure room, hey, hey."

  • (Hard Rock Mode)

"This is the music of my SOUL! That plinkinty-plunk music just wouldn't let me express my RAGE!"

    *SUNG*

"I'm the Twilight messenger. Can't ya tell!? Gonna take this lying lawyer straight to hell!

He's drippin' with lies, runnin' with philistines. I'm gonna send that lawyer to the guillotines!"

  • Reference video for the above songs (Feel free to play around with the timing of the syllables, but the melody must stay consistent with the in-game midi):

This is for extremely minor characters, such as the Khura'inese royal guard, bailiffs, gallery members, victims like Paht Rohl and Taifu Toneido, and so on. Basically, if they only say a few lines or aren't given a unique name and face, they're included here. Just leave your demo reel or, if you don't have one, just find a couple of lines that extras say in the game and use those.

(Extras appear in every case in the game.)

  • Just leave your demo if you have one!

  • If you have no demo, just provide a couple of samples from the game.
