Project Overview
PROJECT SUMMARY
Persona 5 Abridged is a parody series of Persona 5 the Animation. An offbeat and black comedy, Persona 5 Abridged, reimagines the mediocre anime adaptation of the popular Japanese role-playing game. The series follows Akira Kurusu, a new transfer student at Shujin Academy, who is currently on probation. After stumbling into an parallel dimension with his classmate, Ryuji Sakamato, his life turns upside down! Akira begins leading a double life with his new friends as they attend school, work part time jobs, and hang out with each other by day and change the hearts of corrupt adults by fighting shadows in an alternate dimension by night.

- Prior knowledge of the characters and original story of Persona 5 is preferred
- Don't audition if can't commit to the length of the project

He's rather short-tempered and dense which causes him to be viewed as an idiot by the rest of the cast, especially by Morgana and Ann. A Filipino voice actor is preferred.

Morgana is the confident and determined mascot of the Phantom Thieves. While appearing very cat-like, calling him a cat causes him to lash out aggressively as he insists he's human. Morgana seemingly has encyclopedic knowledge of both worlds and considers himself very intelligent and capable. Morgana often comes off as arrogant and constantly fights with Ryuji over petty matters. He often plays the role of the straight man, and puts up with the rest of the group's antics.

Yusuke Kitagawa is a mildly annoying artist who always sounds like a thesaurus, much to the dismay of the rest of the group. He has an intense passion for the arts and also admires his mentor, Ichiryusai Madarame. Yusuke has a crush on Ann Takamaki, who constantly rejects his advances. He's a little eccentric and seemingly operates on another plane of existence than the rest of his friends. He's very intolerant of certain personality types that don't match his aesthetic. He also has a bad habit of frequently ignoring and interrupting people.

Makoto is extremely irritable and constantly berates her fellow teammates as well her sister, Sae Niijima. She's extremely prickly and hard to get along with but the group succumbs to her will due to her unique charms if not fear of her harsh words.

Futaba is also extremely clingy towards all of her new friends due to her lonely life prior to joining the Phantom Thieves and is probably the group's most enthusiastic member. Although being the group's navigator she's laughably bad at it.

Haru Okumura is an insufferable Mormon who's a closeted lesbian. She enjoys pushing her views on others no matter how much her friends tell her to stop. Even though she preaches Mormon values, she often comes off very sexual at times and even goes as far as to say openly lewd/perverted things. Despite her religious eccentricities, she cares deeply for everyone in the group. She seemingly has feelings for Makoto Nijima, even though she denies it. While she appears gentle and feminine she enjoys fighting and is somewhat sadistic. Even convincing the other members of the Phantom Thieves that she derives sexual pleasure from it. She's also very vain and talks about her beauty frequently as well as her supposed "intelligence." While being very self centered she really likes Morgana and holds a lot of respect for him. She also constantly fights with Ann Takamaki, who is a promiscuous teen mother, even though she'll bring up her beauty frequently in the form of backhanded compliments. A lesbian voice actor is preferred.
