Looking for a POC voice actor for Drake for our Perceptions of the Dead story.
Preferred voice:
Medium pitch
British / English Cockney - East end of London accent preferred - Rahul Kohli used here as an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYgkhGDoIXI
While this accent is preferred, it is by no means required. We’re happy to hear whatever accent you’re most comfortable with. POC required.
Drake is a pretty relaxed and friendly individual. He is bisexual and is a romantic interest in the story. He was born in the 1840’s and was around for the British colonization of India. During this time he was found by a dragon, which hired him as their personal assistant, granting him longevity of life and also a few preternatural abilities. He’s about 180 years old now but looks like his youthful self.
In our story he is the happy owner of a nice home in a mostly abandoned suburb, and he invites a pair of ghost hunters in for dinner.
"Sorry, didn't mean to sneak up on you. You said you were sleuthing something?"
Grinning, said with a slight chuckle at first as he gives the two strangers a little fright. Trying to be disarming, curious.
"WOW she gets intense when she drinks. Not that I dislike it-- but wow."
Speaking with one of his guests while the drunken one is not in hearing distance.
"I just want to feel comfortable being myself around people who might be okay with it."
Bearing his soul to a stranger. Sincere, small smile.
