Hi all! This is a casting call for the indie game project Paranormal Research Society, an eccentric anime-style first-person shooter with a focus on characters and their dynamics. The demo for the game is currently out on both Steam and itch. I'm currently looking for voice actors to assist with the full release of the game.
While there are no plans to fully voice the game due to the fact this is basically a one-woman show, there is demand for a wide variety of SFX and specific voiced segments, especially with boss enemies. As the game is still in development, you'd be expected to stick around for a bit – the full game is well on its way and expected to release in a year or two. You'll obviously be credited for voice work in-game and generally wherever possible – I'll do my absolute best to give you everything you need to get some use out of participating in the development of PRS as monetary compensation cannot be offered at this time.
If you do end up being recruited for the project, I ask that you play the first 15 or so minutes of the demo in order to get a good grasp on the game, its characters and the general style and tone. Giving it a go before auditioning is a huge bonus, especially when it comes to more relevant roles. (If you can't play yourself, there are apparently a few no-commentary playthroughs on YouTube!)
If you want to play the demo or read more about the game/its premise, see here:

And if you want to contact me personally, you can reach out to me via Discord at catskulls. If you're interested, consider joining the project Discord server as well: https://discord.gg/eAjd2nMhUP. You can find me lurking here, too!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions! Seeing as the development team of the game consists of yours truly and a few other voice talents, there's really no pressure. You'd be doing me a favor first and foremost by helping with the game's development. The deadlines for auditions are quite flexible as well. Becoming acquainted with the community of the game would also be great – everyone, including the developer, is here to have fun :-) Looking forward to hearing from everyone! Cheers!
