Hello! I'm calling this indie project "Guidebook to Adventure" it's nothing serious yet so I'm playing with a lot of ideas right now. These two characters already had past voice actors and I may stick with them but I'm opening up auditions again to give more people a chance! There may be more recasting in the future but that all really depends.
This project is nowhere near done, I'm in my experimental phase so a lot of things will be changed so nobody has a guarantee to have a permeant role. Most of the time I will contact voice actors to do a few lines on ideas I have for plots, character interactions, small comics ext.

General:
Ruthless sea captain and infamous trading merchant with a largely unknown past. Specializes in unorthodox and illegal magical items and weapons. So called king of pirate city. Was bailed out of jail and is forced to play nice for the mean time.
Personality Type: An opportunistic and devilishly clever, Salty seemingly has no good will in his body. He holds no mercy and is quite vindictive. His loyalty is short and can be easily bought out, given if you have what he wants. As selfish and cruel as he sounds oddly enough Salty can sometimes be nothing more than an overgrown child. Often if salty feels like he isn’t getting the results he wants he will sulk and pout.
Role: Mostly serves as the protagonist groups main modes of transport. They don’t usually pay attention to Salty and his antics. But with his street smarts he comes in more than just handy sometimes. Largely is Chaotic neutral, Salty doesn’t usually stick his neck out for the main group unless it benefits him. But there are times where he will step in if things get too messy. Either because he somewhat cares for them or it’s for his own wellbeing, nobody really knows with him.
Voice help: I'm looking for a voice somewhere similar to Antio Banderas, his performances as puss in boots and Journey to Bethlehem is how I envisioned Salty's voice. But I do imagine Salty having a little bit of a deeper and intimidating voice. Salty also has a Latin American Spanish accent, when he speaks Spanish, he's quite fast so try your best.

General: The author of the journal. He recorded everything he learned on his travels since leaving his homelands. Feeling excluded and ashamed of himself, he wanted a place that would make him feel loved. Kasiah wanders into a city and converts to the religion. He serves as the pastors son assistant.

Personality Type:
giggly, unserious, and a bit of a love bug, Kasiah has an infinity for laughter. His automatic response to just about anything is an infectious laugh that seemingly goes on forever. But don’t let his cheerful opposition fool you, Kasiah is a powerful sorcerer. He can be tough when he really needs to. As someone who’s the kindhearted nurturing type, Kasiah can never turn away from anyone. He especially has a soft heart for kids, often smothering them too much. Due to Kasiah's old age he is also pretty condescending at time. He will treat others like they are children and hardly ever take them seriously. Kasiah is nearly a century old so he thinks that he knows more than he actually does.

Role:
Kasiah is a part of the main protagonist group and serves as some sort of mentor to them. After some convincing Kasiah agreed to join the group and teach them what he knows along the way. He’s hoping that if he goes with them, he can prove to the pastor that he walks the path of god and renounced his sinful ways.
Voice Help: I'm looking for two types of voices for Kasiah, one with a southern country accent and one with none. So for this role voice actors will need to do a second take. Kasiah does not have a deep voice, compared to Salty he is a lot sweeter sounding and gentle.
