INTRODUCTION
Hello, I am looking to make a well-made Overlord Abridged. I want people to see this online and wonder if they watched the actual show. I want people to debate whether the abridge is better or worse than the original. With that, I want to be able to work with those aspiring to be voice actors and give them an opportunity to put their voice out there and for it to be something they are proud of.
Be warned, this will include a lot of adult/crude/TFS style humor, so just be aware of that.
I ask for professionalism from any who would like to be involved. I do ask that if you audition and are cast that you watch the anime if you haven't already. Its available on Funimation.
PAYMENT
Though this project will initially be on low-budget due to personal financial constraints, I do hope to be able to pay fair rates once the project gains more support or my personal situation changes. Details can be discussed when necessary.
COMMITMENT
This is a long-term commitment to this project I won't ask for too much of your time simply the days needed for readthroughs, recording lines, and recording character sounds. But I do ask when we do another episode to work with me in scheduling and continuing to voice the same character. There may be times when I ask you to voice minor characters and extras. You will be compensated accordingly. You also get the first try at auditioning for new roles once cast to the project even if cast as a minor character.
MISC
Ainz Ooal Gown, AKA Lord Momonga, AKA Momon is the ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, and also a shut-in neet who's never touched a girl in his life. Normally, he is domineering, charismatic, and intimidating when he wants to be, but he is also tender, supportive, and caring towards his subordinates, as they are in many ways his children. But when not 'in character' he can be a bit dorky and awkward if he's out of his element or gets caught up in Gamer-Talk.
(he should sound cocky and condescending)
(laughs sinisterly) "Honestly, for a Guild that talks such big game...I thought you'd put up more of a fight."
(Sounds angry and bitter at first, but sounds sadder when he realizes all his friends are truly gone and he must say goodbye to Nazarick alone)
"Dammit! I must've dozed off while he was bitching about his boss again! Why did I have to piss him off today of all days!? Whatever, if he'd really cared, he'd have woken me up! If they'd cared, they would've stayed till the end! ...Oh... Well, no use crying over it now. The best I can do is give our old home a proper send-off."
(should sound sad, bitter, angry, or just generally upset with the situation)

Mare is a rather shy and at times naive guy, often acting with an almost childlike innocence about him. He is very loyal to Ainz and looks up to him like a father figure of sorts. He's also a little self-consious, prone to excessive apologies.
Also, his name is pronounced MAR(like Mars)- Ei, not Mair lol
(After Aura first tells him to stop being rude and greet Lord Ainz in the arena)

If I may, Lord Momonga, why don't we just...I dunno, try to talk to the Humans? Maybe form an alliance? I'm sure it'd be a lot easier to gather information about this new world that way.

Classic tomboy GF. She's quirky, energetic, and tough when she wants to be. But she also takes pride in her more feminine aspects as well, and can get a little flustered if someone pushes her buttons the right way. She's also a bit of a tease when it comes to the other Flor Guardians, especially Shalltear and Mare.

That was a blast, Lord Momonga! I gotta admit, I that thing was a lot harder to kill than I expected.
Demiurge is the guardian of the 7th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, and is often considered the smartest of the guardians. He is also a tad sarcastic at times. He should sound kinda regal and classy, but also sort of reptilian and husky.
Also, his name is pronounced Dem-ee-URGE (like 'I urge you to do this') lol

Albedo is the resident Yandere of the Tomb of Nazarick. She's extremely clingy with Lord Ainz and refuses to let any other woman have him to themselves. When not acting like a love-struck psycho, she's generally very soft-spoken and professional to her fellow guardians. But once she starts gushing over how great Lord Ainz is and how much she loves him, she can quickly become rather crazy. Also, being a succubus, she can also come off as seductive and alluring when she desires.
As you requested, Lord Momonga, all the floor guardians have gathered before you. I, Albedo, leader of the Floor Guardians, pledge my fidelity to you, my lord, my god, my one true love. I serve and obey!!!
(Sounds seductive at first, then becomes disappointed and annoyed)

Cocytus should sound a little more serious most of the time, but still be able to express bigger emotions when it's important. Sort of like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 (great movie, watch it if you haven't). He is the personification of the Warrior's Spirit, and so should conduct himself with a sense of honor and quiet confidence in most situations, especially where combat is concerned. However, when push comes to shove, he should be able to sound bombastic and projected, like an anime superhero. He is fiercely loyal to Lord Ainz, sometimes to a fault.
If you can do a good Scottish please include a take with it as well. He will almost definitely be Scottish for this project.

(try to make him sound like an over-the-top anime Super Hero when he says this. Like, imagine its All Might from My Hero Academia saying it. That should help give an idea of what I'm going for :) )

Shalltear is the second biggest Yandere in the great tomb, second only to her romantic rival, Albedo. She rarely openly speaks well of her, but generally has a professional relationship with the other Guardians. She reveres Lord Ainz as a god among men and practically drools over him at any given chance. When she's out on the prowl, she enjoys toying with her prey and making sure they practically sweat despair before finally finishing them off.
I had envisioned a sort of Victorian England-type accent for her, but feel free to experiment!

Sebas, as his position of Butler implies, is a very reserved and professional person who only acts in line with the orders his master gives him...unless he is morally compelled to disobey. He also becomes something of a monster when someone makes him angry or disrespects his lord.
Of course, my Lord. For if I could not do this much at least, then what kind of Butler would I be?

Gazef Stronoff (pronounced Strone - OFF) is the head warrior of the Re-Estize Kingdom. He is an honorable warrior, if at times a little block-headed, and strives to be just in his actions. He is fiercely loyal to his duties to his kingdom, as well as to his fellow soldiers and close friends.
If possible, try to include a take where you make him sound like Master Cheif from Halo.

Lord Touch Me is basically an over-the-top DnD roleplayer. He acts very bombastic and dramatic, like an anime Superhero.

Your job would be to assist me in ironing out the details and jokes of every script. There would be a lot of back and forth between us, and my biggest requirement is that you know how to have fun. I want this project taken seriously, but I don't want any sticks I the mud dragging it down, aight? Glad we agree.
BIG thing, while comedy will obviously be a big part of this series, I do want the more serious and dramaticparts of the writing to be good, so please be aware of that.
PS. If you can familiarise yourself with the likes of TeamFourStar, Numbskulls, and Something Witty Entertainment, those would be good references for the kind of humor I'm aiming for.
