Project Overview
OUTWARD BOUND is a passion project that has been through multiple revisions, with this being part of its final stretch.
OUTWARD BOUND is a space adventure where 5 characters all try find their way in life via their paths intersecting. 5 stories all interlinking in a massive galaxy.
The animation is intended for screening at animation festivals as well as private screenings at pitches.

A writer who's role is to assist in revisions as well as helping rewrite the pilot script in order to adapt it to fit the enjoyment of the intended target audience.
I am looking for someone with work I can view and deem appropriate/beneficial to the vision of this pilot episode. I need this writer to be forth coming and honest. OUTWARD BOUND would be comparable to a love child of Bojack Horseman and Futurama. A touching yet funny adventure.

Kira is an alien that took refuge upon Earth when running away both from her life of royalty on her home planet as well as her authoritarian brother. She now hunts down contracts sent to her by different faction in an ongoing intergalactic war.With a thick accent reminiscent of an Eastern European to compliment her thick skin, she stumbles on her words at times as English is definitely not her first language.

Officer Jansen is a new cadet on the Space Police and during her first week on the job, she is assigned to backup the Super Soldier known as Stryker. With Stryker being part of Taskforce Zeta, she fan girls, not on him, but rather his absent team members.

Pill is a secret android on a search for human connection. He feels fear, courage, happiness, dread, sadness, but no sense of love it seems. He is able to blend in as a normal human and refuses to shed his rubber skin that covers his metal frame like most androids on Earth do. After a disaster date with an alien known as Kira, he decides to join the space marines and is thrown in a Russian brigade as a janitor.

Hailing from an unknown time period, The Ranger's identity is entirely unknown as he travels through time and space to stop Empress Celestia from starting a cataclysmic war from destroying all life in the cosmos only to find he's crawled through a wormhole 3 years too late and must stop a war from breaking out that is already happening.

With a massive hubris and bravado from countless won space battles. Admiral Carter is one of the few humans to be a thorn in Empress Celestia's side. Admiral Carter is prideful of both his appearance as well as his body that has been trained to near Olympic levels.

An undead empress from an ancient time, Empress Celestia has successfully conquered the planet before and returns to do so once more after a several thousand year slumber. With a super weapon and a overwhelming fleet, she vaporises all those who stand before her as her mind slowly decomposes. Now a near demented and wild version of who she once was, she indulges on partaking in her bloodlust in destroying everyone and everything to make way for her new empire.

Raised to be the strongest of his people, Stryker is near indestructible as a result of both his training and his family bloodline's mutation of containing and emitting kinetic energy through their bodies. As part of an Avengers-like taskforce known as Taskforce Zeta, Stryker finds himself picking up the slack for his reckless fame hungry teammates. With none of the recognition and plenty of defeated villains after him, he is given an assignment to hunt down his sister Kira and an android aboard a mothership.
Stryker is now on a mission to seek redemption for the ways in which he had treated his former friends and sister as he realises that his position in the taskforce was never his purpose.

A narrator that would fit perfectly with Natural Geographic documentary with the characteristics of both Sir David Frederick Attenborough as well as the Narrator from Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy. The Narrator will periodically drop lines of exposition inbetween scenes for both exposition as well as a calm sense of comedic relief.

Space...The seemingly Final Frontier. At least for the humans. For most alien species, space was their backyard, toilet, garden, etc. Point is, there is plenty of it to go around.
And so the humans (once they were done killing each other over space rocks), the Keplarians and the Thebians decided to put the color of their skin aside and start a friendship....which almost worked until Thebians found out that the Humans have oil. Alot of oil.
With the first steps on the moon taken by Mr Gagarin, the world was truly in a Space Race. A race to be the best with the most flags on the most rocks. Like children, the factioned humans claimed whichever planet to say "Nah Nah Boo Boo! I'm better than you you". This resulted in more than a few fistfights on who got to whichever random uninhabitable planet first.
