Project Overview
Hello everyone, my name is Olivia. I am also the producer for this short film, Submersed. Both the director and I have been on several films and know how to run the pipeline. We also have artistic and animation skills that will help this project. As this is an original project, we need people who are equally as passionate about this and ready to work hard over the following months:
Pre-Production: June -> September
Production: September -> March
Post Production: March -> May
The final film is to be released in late May, and then submitted to festivals for up to a year after release. During this time, no production work is to be shared around pubicly, including social media, websites, or through messages. Thank you.
About the Project:
This project is a 6 minute sci-fi action animation, with a hybrid 2D character animation and 3D backgrounds. We are looking for people who have a strong portfolio or demo reel to aid with this. Please refer to the pitch packet about the characters, the synopsis, and what is needed.

Read the character description in the pitch packet and get a feel for the characters. A seperate post (or update) will be added once we need voice actors. Thank you!

Important Notice for Voice Actors 1
We wanted to give some context to the lines being read below. CCC doesn't allow an option for that, so I am posting here. JEAN LUC's LINES LINE 01 CONTEXT Audre works. She notices a pulsating light below the sub. It emits a unique call. She is captivated by its ethereal glow. Jean-Luc crosses from off screen. Jean-Luc (O.S) Intriguing. Audre is startled by his sudden voice. He works on a series of panels behind her. Audre: Too bad it's not on the mission log. [Read Your Line Here] LINE 02 INT. ATHENA I - DAY The ATHENA I is caved in and wrecked on a cliff side. Jean-Luc sits under his desk trying desperately to fix his portable radio. All for nothing. [Read Your Line Here] LINE 03 The situation is hopeless. Audre snaps at Jean-Luc, who is repairing his radio under his station. AUDRE I should've never listened to you. We should have stayed on course! [Read Your Line Here] AUDRE VOICE LINES CONTEXT LINE 01 Audre is startled by Jean-Luc, now working on panels beside her. She moves the camera back to the school of creatures. [Read for Line here] JEAN-LUC Of course. Too much to handle...too much potential discovery...I understand. LINE 02 Movement catches the corner of Audre’s eye out the window. Her face grows with concern. She reaches to a panel and sends a location beacon to their orbiting satellite. They lose connection. Unsure whether it sent, Audre winces. LINE 03 JEAN-LUC: Listened to me? You had the final say, I just agreed.

A recent graduate with a PhD in marine biology. She has been assigned to lead the first mission on a vast ocean planet, LAPIS VII. An inexperienced leader who takes extra precaution to keep her and her crew safe. However, her ambitious and curious nature gets the better of her.
