Hello! I am joining a 10-day game jam. To prepare, I am reaching out to find ONE voice actor in time for the jam.
A game jam is when participants make a game following a theme under a constricted amount of time.
One One of Any Asset VN Jam 2025 - Tasked with making a visual novel with strict asset limitations and a 1000 word limit. From July 10th to July 20th.

This project is still in the brainstorming phase as things can only be finalized once the jam begins. Everything is subject to change.
This game may include/imply/mentions of mental health, depression , trauma, etc. Please only audition if you are comfortable with possibly working with sensitive topics.
CASTING:
There will be no callbacks because of limited time. The role will be casted soon after the jam starts.
I am unable to compensate you financially. Please understand that this project is 100% on a volunteer bases.
If you understand and agree to this, then let's get to what you need to do for the audition.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You can do up to 3 takes per line.
- Please include your discord to get in contact with you.
- Include your demo if you have one.
- You must be 18+ to audition.
- Good microphone quality is appreciated. Preferably a broadcast mic with an audio interface, but USB is fine! A good set-up with minimal background noise is appreciated.
- You are free to edit your audio to make it sound better/clearer. Just not anything that will change your natural audition drastically. ( no pitch changer, voice effect, etc.)

Keep in mind that since this project is on a tight deadline, you have to be able to keep up with the pace of the project. Please only audition if you're able to record lines soon after being casted.

Hello! Wanted to say thank you to those who have auditioned so far, it's going to be difficult to choose, but I'm also very excited! I've decided to give a small extension of just a few more hours.
The game jam has officially started so I'm hard at work on my end.

The only character in the whole game but will require a wide range of voices. This character is a young adult with no specific gender nor accent in mind.
The idea of this character is to have their 'normal voice' but often does impressions of other voices.
I highly recommend providing your demo/showcase of your range alongside as I'm not looking for a specific voice but just a general good range.
This character has some vocal strains such as but not limited to: crying, yelling, laughing, etc. It'd be nice to include that somewhere if you can.
I've provide some lines that is the general vibe of the character but doesn't represent lines for the final product.
And I always told myself this.. If there's no desire, why try my hardest..?
But she tells me: 'Oh do this! Oh do that!' But what if it doesn't work?.. Then what's the point?
I know how selfish I am. I'm not a good person. What about you... Are you a good person?
