Project Overview

So a left-handed guy and a Porn star walk into a murder mystery death game…Wait, that’s not the setup for an oddly specific joke? Not So Generic: Fanganronpa is a fan made web series that takes common Danganronpa tropes and flips them on their head. Join the cast for this murder mystery dramedy, in which all contestants have useless talents. Watch as Eleven contestants fulfill challenges and debate in gunslinging class trials. All while being orchestrated by a sadistic Raccoon-Dog.

Everything in this project is deferred

This is a long term project


Regardless of outcome, if you get a role you will at the very least be guaranteed and IMDB credit (Giving out your real name is still optional and you can opt out of an IMDB credit entirely.)

Please have a decent noise floor and a solid microphone

We do table reads but they are completely optional however if you voice a lead character then you should definitely show up for them.

    Wow, almost 1000 auditions via the CCC alone. I am stunned completely by the amount of love that NSG:F is getting. This show was created a day after I lost a really big role and to see that it became bigger then that project as a whole, is really awesome! I pinky promise I'll start casting in earnest on Tuesday. Also I screwed up my time zone for the CCC so I pushed the deadline up to be at 12:00 pm. Cuz It's super dramatic.

    / Couple things I wanna add as casting goes along. Please no one delete your audition ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SHORTLISTED. People I short list I have a big chance to return. For example I can have you record for certain background characters. Also if you are shortlisted, no matter what I do for casting in regards to a possible continuation. I will absolutely give you some info so you can audition as well, regardless if I make the auditions invite only/Roster exclusive.   • Nearing the deadline plus unexpected news...

    Happy April first everyone! We are 663 auditions strong which is about the population of Vatican city. As the deadline approaches I want those of you who are worried about submitting late to not freak out too badly. The google forms will be open two days longer then the CCC and if you DM me on CCC to let me know in advance if you need more time to audition, then I'll give it to ya! (as long as it's not the same day casting ends)

    In unexpected news...

    I'm doing a couple rewrites to the script to better avoid Spike's wrath so we should be in the clear, unfortunately however. Spike Chunsoft personally sent a mercenary to my home to kidnap my family, kick my dog, steal my copy of silent hill 2 AND they shot my grandmother with a bazooka. But it's fine! Because my grandma survived AND I can only get my family back if I look through all the auditions and start casting when the deadline occurs so, I'll get right on that.

  • Emergency update (Yes this is the one update you should actually read)

    Recently Spike Chunsoft put out guidelines for Fangans and, uhh. Not really looking too hot for us. So is the project cancelled? (No) They say you can't monetize anything that uses their content, but because of the fact that Fanganronpa is a (to be monetized) parody with its own original story and characters, music, etc. We should be completely fine because we comply with fair use laws. So hopefully we should all be successful and only worry about demonization due to the contents of the work. Unfortunately, Japan and America don't follow the same copyright laws. They can still send cease and desist and IP takedowns despite the fact this project follows American copyright laws. I'm working hard with the talented team of artists and directors to make a couple adjustments to the story, characters, and art to better fight off Chunsoft's policies. Rest assured we will be full steam ahead. (Last note before I end this update) If you are a big Dangan fan and you want to work on the actual series, like go to Bang Zoom and dub the next project they have going on. It's probably best to not audition; we're going out of our way to sidestep Spike Chunsoft, and since you get an IMDb credit for this, it follows you, and it will probably not be good when auditioning for an official Danganronpa thing. With that being said, we'll return to our regular weekly updates. Keep auditioning, folks!

    3 more weeks left to audition and you guys have been amazing so far! Just giving everyone weekly updates. I notice some directors on CCC will cast early. I pretty promise that i will not be doing that! So feel free to take your time and submit the best auditions ever! Also we don't have any editor auditions, so please someone change that. OH! Also also we opened up another position for brave artists that want to try their hand at calling shots for the other artist. If that interests you then go ahead and apply with your portfolio!

    Wow! Y'all are on it dogonnit! 200 incredible auditions (and a Light Yagami impersonator) Writing criticism for everyone will surely take my forever so it's kind of a coin flip to see if I actually do it but I really do want to. With that being said, I need someone to bravely take the inactive and Audition for Adam Cockburn. I know it's scary cuz you gotta cosplay and show your real face but he is inarguably one of the funniest characters I have ever written in my 19 years on this planet. Hazama Ito is a 17-year-old 3rd year in high school, and he has no conventional skills besides a short career in warehouse stocking from working in one at the age of 15. He really likes dated 2019 memes and is bilingual in both Japanese and English, although his English is at most "conversational". He is a bit annoying and a general asshat to many people he knows, but when he is your friend, then Hazuma is one of the funniest down to earth dudes ever.

Voice type: Medium-high, more on the higher pitch side. I kinda want something similar to SAO Abridged Kirito, where you can give him a snarky ass hat vibe.

Yuu Miller is a 27 year old adult actress, she started her career at the age of 19 after discovering sex at the age of 18. Ever since she was a little girl she had wanted to become an actress. Although she lived in California most her life, she wasn't able to obtain that dream because her delivery was a bit flat in places so she got type casted as the hot young adult in many student films.
