Night Prison [ORIGINAL ANIME SERIES] - Wave 3
Project Overview
What is Night Prisons?
Night Prisons is an animated dark fantasy series set in a world governed by distant, powerful gods. The story follows four young dragonets who rise against divine control, determined to restore balance and make the sun move once again. As they challenge forces far beyond them, they uncover the true cost of the gods’ “order” and what it means to defy it.
Is Night Prisons family-friendly?
No, Night Prisons is not intended to be family-friendly. The series is rated PG-13 and contains themes such as violence, gore, strong language, and character death. It explores darker emotional and psychological elements that may not be suitable for younger audiences.
What is the main conflict?
At the heart of the story lies a world frozen in imbalance—where the natural cycle has been disrupted and the sun no longer moves as it should. The gods maintain this state under the guise of “balance,” allowing the world to suffer in order to preserve their control. Sora and her team stand against this system, challenging not just one god, but the very structure of divine authority. Their journey is not only about saving the world, but about deciding whether balance enforced through suffering is worth preserving at all.
When will the Night Prisons trailer be released?
The trailer is planned for release in 2027 or 2028, depending on development progress.

About Solareth Ignis:
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Unknown
Size: Unknown / Divine Scale
Likes: Movement, warmth, growth, freedom, change
Dislikes: Stagnation, control, forced balance
Quote:
“A world that never changes… is already dying.”
Role in the Story:
Solareth does not appear in the present timeline, but his presence is felt through memories, echoes, and fragments of the past. He was once a central force in maintaining the natural cycle of the world, representing movement and progression. His death marks the beginning of the imbalance, though the truth behind it remains hidden.
Voice Description:
Warm, powerful, and charismatic with a natural sense of authority. His voice should feel alive—full of energy and conviction—but capable of carrying deeper weight in emotional or fading moments, as if echoing through memory.
- male senior
(warm, strong — natural leader) “The world was never meant to stand still… it was meant to move, to grow.”
(lighthearted, genuine — hint of past friendship with Aurelion) “You take things too seriously, old friend. Not everything needs to be controlled.”
(soft, fading — like a memory breaking apart) “If the sun ever stops… then something has already gone terribly wrong…”
About God of Nature:
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Unknown
Size: Unknown / Divine Scale
Likes: Flowers, plants, conversation, visitors, cheerful company, curiosity
Dislikes: Rudeness, unnecessary seriousness, people assuming she is unfriendly
Quote:
“Oh, darling, you really shouldn’t judge a flower before it blooms.”
Personality:
At first glance, the God of Nature looks extremely cold, intimidating, and almost villainous. Her appearance gives the impression that she would be distant or difficult to approach, but her actual personality is the complete opposite.
She is incredibly sweet, cheerful, affectionate, talkative, and welcoming. She gets excited easily, tends to ramble, and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. She can be playful and slightly dramatic, but never in a cruel way. She should feel like someone who could happily talk for twenty minutes without realizing she has been doing all the talking.
She frequently uses affectionate words such as “darling,” “honey,” and similar terms.
Voice Description:
Female voice with a noticeable British accent. Warm, elegant, energetic, and extremely friendly. She should sound naturally sophisticated without being overly formal.
Her voice should create a strong contrast with her intimidating appearance. Someone seeing her before hearing her speak might expect a cold or threatening voice, only for her to immediately sound like an absolute sweetheart.
She should be capable of switching between bubbly excitement, gentle reassurance, playful teasing, and quieter sincere moments.
- female adult
(cheerful, surprised — immediately fascinated) “Oh! You’re Sora, aren’t you? I’ve heard so much about you already! And it’s
(playful, affectionate — talking a little too much) “Oh, darling, look at those wings! You can simply fly wherever you please? That is terribly unfair. I’m almost jealous.”
(bright, proud, almost childlike excitement) “Flowers, trees, vines, entire forests... I can make life grow almost anywhere. Isn’t that beautiful?”
Description / Characteristics of the role:
Rude Guy #1 is a minor comedic character with an arrogant, competitive personality. He takes the roaring contest way too seriously and immediately judges Sora when she tries to participate.
He is loud, confident, sarcastic, and loves showing off in front of everyone. He isn’t genuinely evil or threatening, just obnoxious and a little mean for fun.
The voice should be energetic and expressive, with enough personality to make his short appearance memorable. Feel free to exaggerate his reactions and make him sound smug or amused.
- androgynous
(mocking, confused) “Wait... was that supposed to be a roar?”
(cocky, correcting her) “You don’t yell with your voice! It comes from here, like a snort, but louder. Come on, even hatchlings know that!”
(showing off, competitive) “Alright, move aside. Let me show you what an actual roar sounds like.”
Description / Characteristics of this role:
The Advertisement Voice will be used for promotional material related to Night Prison, including trailers, Kickstarter advertisements, merchandise promotions, social media videos, and other official announcements.
This role should have a clear, confident, cinematic voice that can sound exciting without becoming overly dramatic or “movie trailer” stereotypical.
The actor should be able to switch between:
Warm and inviting
Mysterious and cinematic
Energetic and promotional
Calm and emotional
Strong pronunciation, clean audio quality, and the ability to make scripted advertisements sound natural are very important.
This is a recurring promotional role rather than a character within the story.
- androgynous
(warm, inviting) “Step into the world of Night Prison, an original indie animated series brought to life by artists, animators, and voice actors from around the world.”
(cinematic, mysterious) “When the light begins to disappear, four young dragons set out to uncover a truth even the gods have tried to bury.”
(promotional, enthusiastic but natural) “Support Night Prison on Kickstarter and unlock exclusive rewards, limited-edition merchandise, behind-the-scenes content, and more.”
