Project Overview
#NephIsOver is a solo animated student film, which follows Nephalem, a popular virtual idol group whose reputation changes overnight due to a sudden rumor. Now, having to disregard their virtual identities, Anne and Daph have to express themselves and convey the truth to their angry fanbase.
Since this is a student film, this project will be completely voluntary and unpaid. The animation of the film is almost finished, so you will be dubbing over the finished scenes if you were chosen. I will also be providing a script!
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Please be 18 or older when applying for a voice acting role!
- A clear microphone with minimal background noise is preferred.
- You can record in either ABC, AABBCC, or ABCABCABC for your audition
- Please provide your discord username in your audition.
- Please comply to the deadlines! Reliability and communication are extremely important.
- Have fun!
DEADLINE: September 22, 2026, 12AM (UTC +8)
The finalists will be reached out to in Discord and will be added to a server in which recordings will be conducted around the first week of October.
Voice Actor
Anne is the face behind Amia, one of the members of the famous VTuber Idol Group: Nephalem. She's a very shy individual, often choosing to not start conflicts. But because of the situation that she and her groupmate, Daph, have found herself in, she needs to gather her courage to speak up and address the allegations against the both of them.
One of the two leads in the film. Has about 14 - 16 lines.
Scenes are already animated by me; I just need people to dub over it.
When auditioning, please provide your Discord! I would personally like if you were familiar with the concept of VTubers, as well.

Daph is the face behind Lillith, one of the members of the famous VTuber Idol Group: Nephalem. An incredibly smart girl with a foul mouth, she's quite the snarky individual who'll be ready to pick a fight with anyone who says something bad about Nephalem or her girlfriend. But because of the situation that she and her groupmate, Anne, have found herself in, she finds herself to be quite helpless. That won't stop her from outwardly speaking her mind, though.
One of the two leads in the film. Has about 10 - 12 lines.
